seven hours of satsang with floyd guiding seekers through all seven steps (in their exact order) to Realization. See details at the end of this post.

F.: The second pointer from the first post of this series that is to be elaborated upon is this:

“The longer the pure consciousness witnesses personality—which is the driving force among the non-Realized—the clearer it becomes that personality is the bane of the relative existence….”

This business of wanting to change the world and wanting everyone to love everyone else has nothing to do with You—with the Real You, the True Self, the Pure Witness. It has only to do with the fears and the desires that are generated by certain of the basic personality types.

Before the personas are discussed, understand that all fears and all desires are rooted in personality, that all misery and suffering evolves from fears and/or desires, and that all misery and suffering, therefore, is rooted in personality.

Each persona adopted as an identity has an agenda that is hidden and that becomes another of the blockages that prevent the consciousness from seeing clearly. Each persona, functioning as a subconscious motivator, will determine thought, word, and deed.

As a result, persons will believe that they have free will and that they have choice when they actually have neither when being driven by personality.

Review the basic types that exist (but understand that persons will add on hundreds of other false roles throughout the relative existence, such as “The Lover,” “The Spouse,” “The Homeowner,” “The Employee/Employer,” “The American,” “The Indian,” “The Guru,” “The Religious One,” “The Spiritual Giant,” “The Parent,” ad infinitum):

THE BASIC TYPES:
1. The Perfectionist, The Reformer
2. The Helper, The Savior, The Rescuer, The Seeker of Love, The Caretaker
3. The Performer, The Achiever
4. The Idealist, the Romanticist
5. The Knower, The Analyst, The Knowledge Person, The Answer Woman/Man
6. The Fearful One, The Seeker of Security, The Loyalist (that is, loyal to those that are Caregivers)
7. The Escapist, The Adventurer
8. The Controller, The Boss, The Ruthless One (and even The Sociopath sometimes)
9. The Peacemaker, The Lazy One

So consider again this notion that some want everyone to love everyone else and that some want to improve the world. See that both of those desires are rooted in personality:

WHO (which personality types or ego-states) are failing to understand that the world is in them, are failing to see that they are not in the world, and are deluded into thinking that they can change “the world”? WHO (which personality types or ego-states) are so arrogant as to believe that they know how the world needs to change and they can effect such change?

Of those basic types above, certainly The Perfectionist/Reformer will be subconsciously motivated to want a perfect world and to believe that he/she can bring about the necessary changes required to bring that kind of world into fruition.

The Helper / The Savior / The Rescuer will most assuredly believe that she/he can help people to be better and can rescue the world in general, one “good deed” at a time.

The Idealist will have certain romantic but totally unrealistic notions about what the world should look like and might expend energy for years in an effort to bring that vision into fruition (but if they live long enough, they will eventually give up on the idea that people will change and will eventually go into isolation or into the solitude, depending upon the level of psychic health or unhealthiness).

The Fearful One will most assuredly want the world that he/she perceives as being dangerous to change, and that is the basic personality type of 50% of the population of the planet.

The Peacemaker, preferring passivity and avoidance, will desire the same.

So across the globe, persons who are being driven by one (or more) of those types will talk about what they want and what they think about the way things are and about the way things should be; then, many of those will take actions that they think are being taken freely and by choice but that are really actions which are being driven by the thoughts and words and subconscious agenda of a persona (or of several personas).

They will truly—but erroneously—believe that they are choosing such thoughts and words and deeds when, in fact, they are being subconsciously driven by nothing more than personality.

Personality always brings with it what some psychologists call “the personality trance” or “the ego-trance,” and because fewer than ½ of 1% will ever be liberated (that is, freed of the effects of being driven subconsciously by personality), then most will walk about in their sleep, thinking in a trance, talking in a trance, and behaving in a trance.

They will live in a prison while thinking they are free. Because you have undertaken a search and found this site, You need not be trapped in the trance prison for the remainder of the relative existence;

instead, there are some specific options available that can guide You along the “path” to the end of the “journey.” Only there can freedom manifest. Please enter into the silence of contemplation. (To be continued)

SIX WAYS THAT SEEKERS HAVE REALIZED:

1. BY WATCHING the 4-Disk Video (DVD) Set, or the same retreat available as a downloadable file. Either will provide an entire seven-hour retreat / series of satsang sessions showing three seekers being guided through all seven steps by Floyd and can provide viewers with an “experiential,” step-by-step series of satsang meetings that will move the viewers from identification with the I to abidance as the Absolute and then to abidance as That Which Is beyond.

Some seekers are already using the computer file version and the DVD sets for meetings in groups in homes, playing the retreat, pausing for discussion, etc.

Five Free eBooks

Compliments of Andy Gugar, Jr.,
the following eBooks are available without charge for you or for friends:

I.
"GOOD vs. EVIL?" or "IGNORANCE, STUPIDITY, and INSANITY?"

The content of this eBook deals with one of the most common but erroneous beliefs that the non-Realized masses cling to and which they will fight about (and even kill over), namely, that there is a planet-wide duel going on between “the forces of good and evil” in the universe.

Either (1) the ancient view is spot on: that the "ills of the planet" are rooted in evil people, in people not being religious enough or spiritual enough, and are caused solely by bad morality; or, (2) the "ills of the planet" are rooted in ignorance, stupidity and insanity and "being good" or "being moral" does not put an end to ignorance, does not eliminate stupidity, and does not treat insanity in any way.

II.
"THE VISION"

Comments regarding the free eBook entitled “THE VISION”:

“My thanks to you and Andy.” – Andrew “Mac” McMaster

“Thanks so much for the book! And, by the way, it is brilliant and the most effective pointing that you have done. It has served to help clear the remaining blockages.” – Stan Cross

“Greatly appreciate having “THE VISION” added to my Henderson resource library that is situated on the right side of my bed for easy access! Eternally grateful for what was received and what was given.” – Robert Rigby

“‘THE VISION’ is such a well-written, condensed version of the Nisarga Yoga approach to understanding and enjoying Reality that I feel it can serve as a must-read ‘meditation guide’ for all earnest seekers.” – Andy Gugar, Jr.

III.
"Sapolsky, Maharaj, and the Non-Dual Teachings"

Dr. Robert Maurice Sapolsky is an American neuroendocrinologist; a professor of biology, neuroscience, and neurosurgery at Stanford University; a researcher; an author; and a Research Associate at the National Museums of Kenya.

There is much that a non-dualist or Advaitin or Nisargan can relate to by comparing and contrasting what Sapolsky reveals about the way certain troops of baboons live in Africa with the way that humans abide all around the globe.

This 152-page eBook catalogues the common, non-dual message shared by Sapolsky and Maharaj and reveals the ways that Sapolsky’s scientific research supports the non-dual pointers offered by Maharaj.

IV.
Seeking

In “PART ONE” it will be seen that most persons on the planet are not seeking, and most will never seek, but for those who are seeking, most will face several obstacles:

In “PART TWO” of this book, it will be seen why many criticized Maharaj for “changing his message in his later talks.” It will be seen that the changes were not about changing the message per se as much as about changing his methodology as he experimented with one version of the Ultimate Medicine after another in order to try to find an effective means for addressing the Ultimate Sickness.

He tried a religious version of the Medicine, a Spiritual version of the Medicine, and finally settled on a version which addressed to Sickness at its core . . . at the mental and emotional level.

V.
"THE MOST DANGEROUS BELIEF OF ALL"

“Dangerous” is a term that can only apply during the relative existence, but of those who do commit suicide, for example, how many shoot themselves in the foot over and over until they “bleed out”? None. They shoot themselves in the head. Why? In order to try to stop the noise - to try to stop the chatter of a thousand monkeys – to stop the noisy mind which is the area that stores the ideas, notions, concepts, mind-stuff, etc. which drives them into the depths of insanity.

And what are those ideas, notions, concepts, etc. called, collectively? "Their beliefs." The irony? They are not their beliefs at all. They are the beliefs of “others” that were set in place via programming, conditioning, etc. and which persons then think are their own.

And what are those beliefs rooted in, and what reinforces those beliefs and convinces persons that they are sacred and worth fighting over and even sometimes worth dying for? Blind faith.

This 337-page eBook discusses those issues in detail.
