TODAY’S CONSIDERATIONS

Yesterday:

The key non-dual pointer: there will be heaviness when personality identifications are at play; there can be a sense of lightness if no personal identifications are assumed; but there will be, guaranteed, untold heaviness marking and marring the existence of all persons who believe that false identities are real. When was the last time persons enjoyed unconditional happiness? The last time that they were not burdened with any assigned or assumed personal identities and the last time that they had no ideas, concepts, notions (a.k.a., "beliefs") about anything. And when was that? During "The Child No-Knowing State." Maharaj: "Go back."

He said: “. . . You should go back, reverse, to the source”

and

“Follow the same path by which you came.”

What does that involve?

As the conscious-energy manifested within a space which developed inside a human womb, that space / elemental plant food body eventually moved outside the womb and entered what was called “The Child Ignorance Stage" or “The Child No-Knowing State.” Each child "arrives" with a brain but with “a blank tablet” in the parts of the brain which will have later on the capability to store and retrieve information.

The early, blank tablet days will soon end as the child is exposed to nonsensical programming and conditioning and domestication and acculturation and brainwashing and indoctrination. Thus, what will be “written on the tablet” is nonsense, and when skeptical children first begin to hear nonsense from adults, they generally question the nonsense. Why? Because children are far more dubious, far less easily fooled, and thus far wiser than the adults who have all already undergone the process of programming, conditioning etc. and who have developed blind faith and who accept, unquestioningly and foolishly, what they are told by persons in positions of authority.

The child will also soon be stripped of that tendency to question by being programmed and conditioned to accept, to believe, to have faith, and to “stop challenging authority figures, dammit!!” The process will pull the child out of the No-Knowing State and will burden the child with belief in personality identifications, mind identification and body identification.

Once those last three steps are taken, then the child will be as far removed from truth and the ability to spot untruths as one can be. If the misery and suffering which come with body and mind and personality identifications eventually register with a child-adult, then at some point – after a period which often involves around four decades – some will begin to question again:

“What the heck is this all about?”

“Why have I allowed so many people to fool me so consistently?”

“Why do I think the way I think, say the things I say, and do the things I do, even as all of those have led to so many problems and disappointments throughout my entire existence?”

“I am intelligent, but I have done some of the most insane things imaginable. Why? What has been driving me subconsciously throughout my entire life?"

"I can look back and see that I have been imprisoned all my life in my mind. How did that entrapment come about? Along the way, I’ve tried to be better, to get rid of the person who is doing bad things or making crazy decisions and be a good person instead. Why haven't I been able to succeed at that?"

"I’ve tried religion. I've tried philosophies and ideologies. I’ve tried several spiritual groups. I’ve been driven recently to travel the world and visit holy places and speak to supposedly wise people, and while I think time and again that change has come, it never lasts. I go back to the same old destructive and stupid and insane ways. What can I do to change my condition?”

One of the indigenous peoples in the U.S. says in a song, “Winds of life are blowing across the reservation and I can hear the voice of a new generation . . . and it's time, yes it's time, to live.” How about with you? Is it time to live, meaning to live freely . . . to live naturally . . . to truly relax and take it easy . . . and to leave others alone to do the same?

In Chapter Twenty-Three of The Relative Results of Returning to "The Child Ignorance Stage" or "The Child No-Knowing State" entitled “Entrapment in the ‘Good’ Roles is Still Entrapment,” this is offered:

Mention has been made of ducks, squirrels, deer, bears, birds, fish, and persons ("persons" being a term which points to all of the "human spaces or forms" with ideas and concepts and beliefs which drive them to accept multiple false identities as being real). Of the millions and millions of life forms in those groups, and of the trillions and trillions of life forms which have ever lived on the planet, only the members of one group have developed (that is, regressed) in ways that drive them to assume that they are "different," that they are "better than all other spaces and forms," and that they can "control" and have "dominion" over all of the other spaces and forms in other groups. Some members of that group of "persons" or "human spaces or forms" also assume that they should have control and dominion over all of the "other persons" or "other human spaces or forms" in their group.

Of the millions and millions in those groups that move about planet earth, and of the trillions and trillions that have ever lived on the planet, all have an elemental brain, but only the members of one group have developed (that is, regressed) in ways that have also resulted in a "mind" filled with ideas and concepts and beliefs.

And of the millions and millions in those groups that move about planet earth, and of the trillions and trillions that have ever lived on the planet, only the members of the group with "minds" have mental problems which drive them to fight others who believe different ideas and concepts and beliefs; who have mental problems which drive them to inflict pain on themselves or others;

who have mental problems which drive them to continue to engage in behaviors that have been proved to be harmful to their elemental bodies; who have mental problems which drive them to cut or shoot themselves or others; and who have mental problems and such arrogance that they feel entitled to engage in controlling and invading and colonizing and enslaving and committing acts of genocide.

Only the members of the group with "minds" have mental problems of such severity that they actually believe that they are the roles they play; that they really believe they can be something that they are not; and that they truly believe it when other persons tell them that they are either "good" or "bad" (although the criteria for such labeling varies from culture to culture);

have such mental problems that they really believe that they are "different from" others; that they actually think that they are "better than" or "worse than" others; and that they should abandon the roles that their cultures tell them are "bad roles" and that they should assume and play the roles that their cultures tell them are "good roles" to assume.

Only the members of the group with "minds" have such severe mental and emotional and "personal" (personality) problems that they think they must spend years - or even a lifetime - of searching and seeking and working to "improve" or "enhance" themselves (and "others").

Many so-called "non-dual teachers" have taught such concepts as "how to change your thoughts"; "how to succeed"; "how to get power"; "how to develop an ageless body and timeless mind"; "how to fulfill your desires"; "how to fulfill your dreams"; "how to achieve spiritual advancement"; "how to progress"; "how to elevate to a higher level"; "knowing spiritual laws"; "how to find your "ultimate calling;" and "how to know God."

None of that is even remotely aligned with any accurate non-dual understanding. It is all nonsense, added to the message to attract the masses who are attached to "gain" and "improvement" and "attainment" and "receiving benefits by way of the teachings."

Maharaj's take on all that?

He taught that at the core of all human misery and suffering is personality, ego-state adoption, and egotism. He said, "I have no mind" (so he had no thoughts to change); "success" is a persona-based concept, he taught, as is "power" and as is "A Power" or "Powers."

To that end he said: “The nearer you get to the truth, the more you lose interest in worldly affairs. Such a one will not have any interest in the world, but will act like an ordinary person.”

He made clear that the body is a temporary form and that the "mind" is finite as well, not "ageless."

As for "fulfilling desires," he taught that all misery and suffering are rooted in personal fears or in trying to fulfill personal desires; and contrary to "fulfilling dreams," he made clear that dreams are something to be rid of after seeing they are not the Real.

As for "spiritual advancement," he said: "There is no progress"

and

"There is no question of elevating to a higher level. Here it is only a question of understanding."

As for "spiritual laws," he said: "Whatever spiritual things you aspire to know are all happening in this objective world, in the illusion. All this is happening in the objective world. All is dishonesty. There is no truth in this fraud."

As for being "called" to some "ultimate calling" and as for "knowing the caller" or "knowing God," he said: "First of all you identify something as being good or bad for yourself. Then, in an effort to acquire good or to get rid of the bad, you have invented a God. Then you worship such a God and . . . you pray to that God for something good to happen to you."

All such concepts and ideas adopted by persons run counter to the no-belief, non-dual, no-identity, no-concept, no-idea, natural abidance and normalcy which mark the relative existence of all forms on the planet except for persons. One has never seen a deer trying to improve or enhance itself. One has never seen a deer being burdened - as humans are - with a sense of heaviness.

That which believes it can change or grow or develop into something that is different from what it already is is nothing more than a speck of consciousness that has been fooled. That which believes it can become enhanced or improved or made better or made worse or ungraded or downgraded is a speck of conscious-energy that has been fooled.

Maharaj said, "Only that person will visit this place whose virtue and sin have [both] come to an end." All concepts and beliefs such as those referenced above are rooted in the duality of either (1) an egotism-based notion of being "very good" or even "great" or (in true narcissistic fashion) "incredible"; or (2) a guilt-and-shame-based notion of being "bad" or "unworthy."

Moreover, it is only the members of the group with "minds" who buy into dualistic beliefs, ego-states as identities, egotism, a false sense of greatness, and the arrogance-generating delusion of many members of that group that they are part of "an exclusive and superior group or race or species."

Also, it is only the members of the group with "minds" that buy into "self-destruction" and "destruction of others" as a result of first buying into guilt and the notion of being "bad" or "unworthy" or, conversely, "exceptional."

Is it any wonder that Maharaj invited those trapped in the delusion of body-mind-personality identification (and those being driven by their false ideas and concepts and beliefs) to abandon all of the learned ignorance which is inspiring them to live unnaturally or inspiring them to try to live "supernaturally"?

Is it any wonder that Maharaj spent decades inviting persons to abandon all beliefs and to then abide naturally instead, as do ducks, squirrels, deer, bears, birds, fish, and all other "spaces-or-forms-cum-temporarily-manifested-consciousness" with the lone exception of "persons"?

To be continued.

TODAY’S CONSIDERATIONS

Yesterday: As the case with Maharaj advising seekers to find what you are not instead of looking for “What You Are,” so he also said that – ultimately – one need not seek truth but instead should “concern yourself with untruth only.”

See?

1. Focusing concern not on finding “Who You Are” but instead finding all of the “who’s” which you have been told you are or which you have thought you are, realizing they do not really define you, and then discarding those.

2. And focusing concern not on finding “Truth” and instead concerning yourself with finding untruth only and ending once and for all your belief in all untruths.

3. And, moreover, it should be seen by now that one’s existence can be far freer and saner if concern is focused less on all of the spiritual going and doing and zooming and on all of the religious and / or spiritual workaholism involved with seeking so-called “enlightenment” and focusing instead on that which can bring a condition of “lightment” . . . of abiding in a light manner rather than in such a heavy fashion which is typical among the masses.

Now some say the way to a state of “lightment” is to be forever ignorant, repeating the old adage that “ignorance is bliss.” Nope. (a) Ignorance is ignorance and (b) bliss is bliss and (c) not knowing that is just more evidence of ignorance.

Each assumed persona / personality brings with it a primary fear and a primary desire, and fears and desires preempt any chance for enjoying a sense of lightness.

A political race is underway to select in November the next person who will hold the office of the President of the United States. The result? The desire of those who have assumed the identity of “A Republican” have their desire / hope with one candidate and fear some other candidate might win. The desire of those who have assumed the identity of “A Democrat” have their desire / hope with one candidate and fear another candidate might win.

Let’s see how it’s working out when their personas have hope and see if that is making them blissful or not.

Here’s a pic from a gathering of enraged Democrats:

Hopeful? You bet.

Blissful as a result of their hopes and desires? Hardly.

Here’s a pic of enraged supporters at a rally for the Republican candidate:

Hopeful? You bet.

Blissful as a result of their hopes and desires? Nope.

There has never in the history of the humanity / personality combo been any occasion when any “benefit” manifested as a result of a false identity being assigned to a human or assumed by a human. Personas with desires either generate frustration when their desires are not met or instances where desires are met for a time but do not continue to be fulfilled, leading to even greater frustration. Maharaj made clear that whatever gives you pleasure will eventually give you pain and that whatever gives you the greatest pleasure will eventually give you the greatest pain.

The key non-dual pointer: there will be heaviness when personality identifications are at play; there can be a sense of lightness if no personal identifications are assumed; but there will be, guaranteed, untold heaviness marking and marring the existence of all persons who believe that false identities are real.

TODAY’S CONSIDERATIONS

With 97% of the persons on planet earth claiming an affiliation with one religion or another, the concept of "confession" has high regard globally. Yet is confession a noble act or might it be a tool used by those who are willing to abuse others?

Some government officials endorse torturing persons in order to gain confessions.

Some religion leaders teach that “confession is good for the soul,” but - there being no soul to start with notwithstanding - a salient question might be this: Is it possible that the conditioning of members to confess regularly also conditions them to accept and normalize their tendencies to exact relative harms on others and normalize and minimize those acts by suggesting that one can commit all sorts of relative offenses but then get a clean slate upon request, over and over again?

(Lizette W. Reese said: "The old faiths light their candles all about, but burly truth comes by and blows them out.")

Treat others like hell all week, go to confession, and then come home with boundless pride regarding your once-again-totally-pure condition? Not impressed.

So one can behave in a stupid and selfish and greedy and callous and unkind and even merciless manner but can then confess that one behaved in a stupid and selfish and greedy and callous and unkind and even merciless manner during the past week and then be absolved and start all over with a clean slate? What a bargain that belief, is, yes? Might that actually be one of the religion's biggest draws? Creating a better world by restoring people to a condition of purity? Yet Maharaj illustrated how far clearer his perspective was when he asked, “What kind of world can a man create who is stupid, greedy, heartless?"

Some spiritual groups encourage both public and private confession of one’s wrongs or the harms done to other people and then encourage them to reflect on a daily basis, find where harm was done to other people, and then confess that harm to both them and another person. Maharaj pointed out that if one is freed of ignorance and insanity, then one will be “wise, affectionate and kind.” So if one “realizes” and becomes “wise, affectionate and kind,” what can there be to confess? What constantly-repeated harms could possibly continue to be done, setting up a constant need for confessing afterwards, over and over again?

By the way, this is not about being “perfect.” It is simply about being "wise, affectionate and kind" to all (without accepting or tolerating abuse when the kindness you offer is not reciprocated). Such wisdom-based kindness can only happen when one reaches that level where it is understood that one is all. To be free of beliefs about being “different from” will free one from the belief of being “better than”; and if freed from beliefs about being “different from” and “better than,” then the lack of kindness which comes with arrogance-basic dualistic beliefs can be averted.

Maharaj went right to the very core of the non-dual understanding when he explained: “All separation, every kind of estrangement and alienation, is false. All is one - this is the ultimate solution of every conflict.” See? That which is false is the rub.

And what is the opposite of that which is false? That which is true. Maharaj: “Truth is loving and lovable.” Thus, lies are evidence of the unlovable, unloving, and contemptible.

Maharaj said, “A spark of truth can burn up a mountain of lies. The opposite is also true”

and

“There are three aspects of reality: Truth – Wisdom – Bliss”

and

“Disregard your desires and fears, concepts and ideas and live by truth alone”

and

“The impure mind is opaque to truth”

 and

“The understanding comes by way of the love of truth.” Yet most do not love truth. Why?

Michael Reisig offered this on the subject in one of his novels by way of a cynical (but somewhat realistic) character:

“People don’t want the truth. It’s too damned uncomfortable in the long term. They’ll take a sweet lie to an inconvenient truth every time. They want to be coddled and taken care of. They want to be told that it’s gonna be all right. Where have you been all your life, son? The mortar of government is lies. Do you think the populace out there could be controlled if they knew the truth—about the food they eat, or the water they drink, or the people that govern them? God! In my lifetime alone I’ve seen backroom deals cut by politicians and corporations that would have had the populace wanting the heads of every elected official in the nation.

The duplicity, the misinformation you’ve been fed, and the real conspiracies - from Roswell to the Rockefellers, to the exotic energy technologies we’ve tucked away in hidden vaults, all the way to the people who really control this nation - hell, this country would come apart at the seams in a week. It’s simple, son. There’s more victory in deceit than there is in truth. There’s more money in it. Nobody really gives a shit about honesty. Put simply, unadulterated truth would just screw things up abysmally.”

Alexander Solzhenitsyn said: "We do not err because truth is difficult to see. It is visible at a glance. We err because this is more comfortable." Or "seems" more comfortable or "appears to be" more comfortable. The widespread distortion among humans is rooted in an inability to differentiate true from false and an inability to differentiate between what is truly comfortable vs. what is actually most uncomfortable.

George Orwell said: "In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act." (Of course, "telling it like it is" does not count if that "telling" itself involves more lies.)

Can you recall an instant which you told a lie to a parent and then walked about in abject fear, dreading the likelihood that you were going to be found out and punished?” Can you recall an instant which you told a lie to a boss or a mate (which can in many "relationships" be one and the same) and then walked about in abject fear, dreading the likelihood that you were going to be found out and then have to pay the consequences?” In the darkness of the barn, a rope can appear to be a snake. That can lead to fear and anxiety, which can generate anger and heaviness. When the door is opened farther and the light is able to shine in, then truth can be seen, a sense of relief comes, and that brings a sense of lightness.

Some would say, “Go ahead and confess the lie you told and you’ll feel better.” Not necessarily, depending on what the consequences of being found out are.

(Work for a billionaire who is an ass but before finding another job you decide you must tell the truth and explain to him that he’s an ass? Might have been wiser to avoid both lying and telling the truth. Just find another job. What is often the motive in the first place for being driven to try to “tell everyone his or her truth”? Do you really believe they want the truth as you see it? Here, no one is sought out to hear the telling of the truth. They must find on their own that which is offered but which will never be imposed upon them.

Moreover, Maharaj said: “If you expect any benefits from your search - material, mental or spiritual - you have missed the point. Truth gives no advantage. It gives you no higher status, no power over others; all you get is truth and the freedom from the false.”

Really, what the heck. Why spend a lifetime focusing on truth? Actual truth can be understood but it can't be stated anyway.

Work with Kim Jong Il and he asks you one day, “Do you think that I’m a total psycho?” Must you be so O-CD and anal and perfect that you cannot tell a lie and just have to tell him the truth? Rock and roll, but prepare for the consequences.)

So what would allow you to “feel better” in all of the examples above would have been not lying in the first place. Lies bring heaviness. Truth comes via light and brings lightness.

Maharaj: “Abandon the false and you are free of pain; truth makes happy - truth liberates”

and

“It is useless to search for truth, when the mind is blind to the false. It must be purged of the false completely before truth can dawn.”

The case with Maharaj was that he eventually advised seekers to find what you are not instead of looking for “What You Are”; similarly, he said to those playing the role of "The Seeker of Truth": one need not seek truth but instead, Maharaj advised: “Concern yourself with untruth only.”

Stop lying. Stop believing lies. Yet that is easier said than done. Lying and believing lies can only come to an end after receiving the proper treatment for the Ultimate Sickness and then being free of all learned ignorance and free of all previously-imposed insanity.

To be continued.

TODAY’S CONSIDERATIONS

Maharaj often said, “This is so simple, really.” Yet for most persons, trapped in the symptoms of the Ultimate Sickness, nothing is simple, be it their seeking or their "religious or spiritual life" or their complex and complicated relative existence.

But there really is a process which can simplify treating the Sickness and which can simplify the remainder of the relative existence of those who can be restored to sanity and freed from the effects of their programming, conditioning, etc. The rub? Most persons usually do not prefer the simplest method.

Many love to engage in convoluted and drawn-out and long-winded methods which allow person to try to satisfy the key desires of "non-realized" humans, namely (1) to talk and talk and talk and (2) to attain more “noble” identities such as “The Super Religious One” or “The Spiritual Giant” or "The Super Seeker" or “The Old-Timer in a Group”; thus, persons will often try one or more or all of the following:

USE RELIGION TO TAP INTO THE POWER OF GOD

All humans are addicted to something. In addition to the long list of what they are addicted to, all other addictions are preceded by the primary and secondary addictions of humanity, the primary addiction being an addiction to control and the secondary addiction being an addiction to power (and usually “a Power” as well) in order to be able to control. Maharaj’s take?

Ultimately, power (and Power) are illusions:

"First of all you identify something as being good or bad for yourself. Then, in an effort to acquire good or to get rid of the bad, you have invented a God. Then you worship such a God and . . . you pray to that God for something good to happen to you."

BECOME SPIRITUAL IN ORDER  TO TAP INTO THE POWER OF GOD SO YOU CAN BECOME GODLY (OR EVEN GOD)

Originally, Maharaj tried to use a religion / non-dual mixture as the Ultimate Medicine. Later, he tried a spirituality / non-dual compound as the Ultimate Medicine. Eventually, he abandoned both and used a psychological / non-dual form of the Ultimate Medicine, advising:

“Whatever you have tried to understand during your spiritual search will prove false”

and

“When the birth is disproved, the great noble meaning of spirituality and the meaning of this world — everything — is disproved”

and

“I have no faith in anything which has ever been told, not even what has been told by the Vedas. Only my own experience"

and

"Whatever you think of as 'spiritual knowledge' was gained in the realm of consciousness; such knowledge is merely a burden upon your head and it is going to add more misery. It is nothing more than spiritual jargon"

and

"There is no such thing as spirituality; whatever is, is only this worldly life, in the five-elemental play"

and

"Those who have apperceived my knowledge will not fall a prey to the logic or spirituality expounded by others"

and

"Spiritual knowledge should not be studied"

and

“Give up spirituality”

and

“Follow your normal inclinations"

and

"Forget spirituality.”

In other words, abide naturally (in a Nisarga fashion) rather than trying to live supernaturally / religiously / spiritually.

USE DRUGS

Since the 1960’s, some have accepted Leary’s advise to “Turn on, tune in, drop out” in their efforts to reach a higher plane or higher level of consciousness. Maharaj's take on that method:

“Some are addicted to trances, with their consciousness in abeyance. Without full consciousness, what [success] can there be?”

Moreover, he said, "There is no question of elevating to a higher level. Here it is only a question of understanding."

FORM OR JOIN SPIRITUAL GROUPS AND HELP EACH OTHER WITH SELF INVENTORY / SELF-INQUIRY IN ORDER TO FIND GOD OR THE TRUE SELF

To those playing the role of “The Spiritual Giant,” he advised:

“Proclaiming oneself to be an omnipotent, omniscient and omnipotent deity is a clear sign of ignorance.”

He said: “Get rid of all ideas about yourself, even of the idea that you are God.”

As for spiritual groups, he knew they were useless. Some protest, saying, “But he had groups meeting in his loft two times a day for decades.” Yes, but he addressed specific questions with answers intended to move seekers to the next step and then he sent them away to consider his pointers in the silence, alone, not in groups. With a few exceptions, he only allowed most to stay for a week or two. Those who showed they were not ready were sent packing in a matter of minutes.

Yet there are still groups even to this day in Mumbai who meet daily to go to a room where there is preserved behind glass a handful of the ashes which remained from his pyre where the plant food body was cremated, ashes which were snatched up by a man. Now, everyday in that room, men gather to pray and worship and bow and chant and sing praises to a handful of ashes. How might Maharaj describe that group's activities, were he present to witness them? Maybe with a word which he used often but which his translators and editors expunged from his talks and transcripts, namely, “bullshit.”

As for the SELF-Inquiry process, Maharaj would eventually say that it was not necessary, encouraging seekers to engage in a (false) “self” inquiry or “self inventory” and to find not "What They Are” but what they are not. He said: “It is enough to know what you are not.”

There are other spiritual groups which also recommend self-inquiry or self-inventory, along with a second kind of inventory as well. Millions have come and gone through the doors of such groups and experienced no relief from their personality disorders and no real, significant change (just like the 2%-4% who remain).

The co-founder of the largest such spiritual group bemoaned the fact in his later years that the “success rate” had become dismal and that the failure rate of their groups was soaring through the roof. He blamed the high failure rate on poor leadership and the fact that few remain who really know how to guide seekers through their steps.

Some who remain spend a lifetime doing the self-inventory step (the “moral inventory” step,” they call it) over and over. What a heavy, rather than light, way to live. How drab. How boring. How self-focused to the exclusion of focusing on family.

Yet most never truly understand that the moral inventory is to be done only once and never truly understand the instruction to do a “personal inventory” on a daily basis (at least until they find all of the false personal / personality identifications which set the stage for personality disorders to manifest in the first place and which continue to drive the insane thoughts and words and actions of persons in those groups). Were they to find what can be found through "self-inquiry" or a "personal inventory," they would be done with it all and could then just live simply and naturally.

So what is the simple method which can work even for those who have “grave mental and emotional disorders" but who have not yet been totally lost in the deepest, darkest depths of psychoses? What was Maharaj’s plan?

“…You should go back, reverse, to the source”

 and

“Follow the same path by which you came.”

That is, go back to “The Child Ignorance Stage” (known here as “The Child No-Knowing Stage”) in which there are not yet any of the assigned and assumed personality identities which will soon come via insane programming and conditioning and domestication and acculturation and indoctrination and brainwashing; in which there is not yet a mind which will form as the child is taught nonsense and learned ignorance"; and in which there are not yet any ignorant and insane and warped ideas, concepts, notions, perceptions, and perspectives (a.k.a., “beliefs”).

To be continued.

Please enter into the silence of contemplation.

TODAY’S CONSIDERATIONS

The disorders grouped into what is called “The Dark Triad” offer examples of three of the most adverse ways by which personality (and the disorders which always accompany them) impact the relative existence. Granted, there are many disorders which have been addressed here with seekers and there are many examples of persons (1) becoming aware of the personalities / personas / roles which have been driving their thoughts and words and actions and subsequently (2) being freed from those influences.

In the case of those with “The Dark Triad” disorders, however, little or no change or freedom has come. Narcissists will usually remain narcissists. As for sociopaths and psychopaths, this was offered by one who is versed in the field to explain why they will likely never be freed from being driven by the agendas of their disorders:

"There are structural abnormalities in the brains of psychopaths (and the same have been found in the brains of many sociopaths), so treatment methods are often ineffective. Some studies have obtained far from optimistic results, ranging from little improvement in psychopathy with treatment to treatment seeming to exacerbate psychopathic behavior."

For those who hope that the sociopaths or psychopaths in their lives might eventually change, consider that fact: even if they seek treatment, which they are never likely to do, oftern the treatment makes their disorder worse because they become enraged by any suggestion that they have certain flaws which need to be addressed.

Because of that fact, the case here is that decades have been spent working with those who would be free of the effects of other personality disorders, but no time is wasted on those displaying the Sociopathic Personality Disorder or the Psychopathic Personality Disorder. (Narcissists are given a chance, but usually they will be sent on their way promptly if they make clear that they, too, are going to be resistant to truth.)

In the case of other disorders, some of which also generate serious relative consequences, there is often a chance that change can come. In the case of all who are lost in their body identification and mind identification and personality identifications, change has been seen if the willingness and the readiness are both present. In such cases, the symptoms of the Ultimate Sickness (which Maharaj identified as “ignorance, stupidity, and insanity”) can be addressed, sometimes via the non-dual understanding but in other cases through treatment by qualified professionals.

Presently in the U.S. and in far too many other places around the globe, the case if that those symptoms of the Ultimate Sickness are now actually being lauded.

For example, a man who will be one of the two major party candidates running for the office of the President of the United States this year - when a poll revealed that his supporters are often among the the less educated - said: “I love the poorly educated!” Wonder why?

Linguists, researchers, and journalists have used an algorithm known as the Flesch-Kincaid Readability Test which analyses a speaker's word choice, sentence structure, etc. and then calculates a grade-level ranking. The test measures the complexity or simplicity of a speaker's diction and syntax and then determines the level of education which is the equivalent of that level vocabulary, sentence structure, etc. The test revealed that the candidate speaks at a 4th grade level, indicating that his communication skills are same as a child with only a fourth grade education.

The greatest problem facing humanity is this: the Ultimate Sickness is spreading and becoming more prevalent, and there are those who – rather than trying to be free of the symptoms such as ignorance – are instead ennobling ignorance.

In August of 2008, Candidate Barack Obama addressed the core issue with certain politicians who hate science and facts and who prefer to tap into their supporters' preference for a Christian home schooling curriculum and who disdain public education and who really hate universities and formal learning in general. Of those, he said:

"It's like these guys take pride in being ignorant."

Earlier this month while offering a commencement address at a university, he said:

“In politics and in life, ignorance is not a virtue“

and

“It’s not cool to not know what you’re talking about. That’s not keeping it real, or telling it like it is. That’s not challenging political correctness. That’s just not knowing what you’re talking about.”

He added:

“When our leaders express a disdain for facts, when they’re not held accountable for repeating falsehoods, and just making stuff up while actual experts are dismissed as ‘elitists,’ then we’ve got a problem. The rejection of facts, the rejection of reason and science, that is the path to decline.”

His words might be unique in both of those speeches, but his pointers adumbrate a message which is as old as that offered by the first "non-dualist" who realized - as Maharaj did eventually - that the problems of humanity center in the mind.

That was exactly the conclusion Maharaj finally reached. Thus he said, alluding to the roots of the Ultimate Sickness / the Ultimate Illness:

"All illness begins in the mind."

"Your confusion is . . . in your mind."

"Distrust your mind, and go beyond."

"There is no chaos in the world except the chaos which your mind creates."

" . . . The mind obscures and distorts."

"It is the mind that creates illusion."

"Don't rely on your mind for liberation. It is the mind that brought you into bondage. Go beyond it altogether."

And where are assigned and assumed personality identifications stored? In the mind, of course. It’s all related.

Both ignorance and identification bring heaviness and darkness. The antidote?

“The Light Triads,” which include:

1. true modesty
2. humility
3. awareness

1. empathy
2. a sense of oneness
3. an ability to differentiate between “love” and Real Love

1. Freedom from learned ignorance
2. access to wisdom
3. being sane

1. Knowing all that you are not
2. abiding naturally rather than unnaturally or supernaturally
3. functioning spontaneously

and

1. casting aside all beliefs
2. being identity-less
3. being concept-less . . .

. . . to name but a few.

To be continued.

A NEW RELEASE

The book What a Cherokee Grandmother Passed On to a Grandson (100 pages with pictures) explains how is came to be that, by the ages of 5 and 6, I was already being offered pointers toward the non-dual understanding. And what astounding levels of duality I had already been exposed to! The contrasts are illustrated via the differences between being raised in the darkness of an inner city vs. spending time in the forests with a Cherokee Grandmother and seeing the light.

The book contains a discussion of how duality is modeled and copied by children who then become entrapped in dualistic thinking and talking and behaving for their entire relative existence; how some few are fortunate enough to be exposed to a 180-degree-opposite alternative; and how some will pursue that opposite mode of functioning and witnessing and seeing which can allow those few to have an opportunity to be freed from the darkness and to abide in the light.

Above all, Grandmother was what some nowadays call “fully realised.” Was she also “a teacher” of non-duality? Yes and no. She passed on non-duality not as much by offering non-dual pointers as by modeling non-duality all day, every day, for her entire relative existence.

Everything she taught was consistent with what Maharaj taught, and if ever anyone adhered to the nisarga (natural) lifestyle throughout an entire relative existence, it was Grandmother. She pointed the way to me, and she can also point the way to you as well by way of what she taught, some of which is shared in this book.

TODAY’S CONSIDERATIONS

Yesterday:

Yet to be forewarned is to not be forearmed for those trapped in what Maharaj eventually came to see as a mental illness called “the Ultimate Sickness.” To be forewarned is to be forearmed only among those who are awake, aware and conscious and thereby freed from the symptoms of the Ultimate Sickness and thereafter able to function in a wisdom-based manner.

Maharaj noted that a key symptom of the Ultimate Sickness is “ignorance.”

Regarding that he said: “Proclaiming oneself to be an omnipotent, omniscient and omnipotent deity is a clear sign of ignorance.”

Those making such a claim are just as ignorant as those among the masses who are never likely to give the slightest concern about their bogus identities or the effects of their false personality identifications. “The Dark Triad” disorders may be a personality-identification problem, but they are also a mind identification problem because the false ego-states which are assumed and / or assigned are stored in the mind.

Maharaj said that the words of those with the understanding “have the power of dispelling ignorance and darkness in the mind.” Throughout their entire relative existence, most persons (a "person" being one who is those assuming "personas," false personality identifications) will fail to understand how significant a part is played by personalities - and the disorders which they bring - in determining what persons think and say and do and how they feel.

Maharaj was once asked, “What may be the cause of their failure?” Maharaj replied: “Some are addicted to trances, with their consciousness in abeyance. Without full consciousness, what [success] can there be?” It has been said here many times over the years, “The readiness is all.” Maharaj said that “the ripening factor is earnestness.”

The rub with those who have one, two or all three of the disorders known as “The Dark Triad” is that those disorders are always accompanied by the Perfectionistic Personality Disorder, so those with any of those disorders will likely never seek, already believing they have found everything they need to know and believing that they are perfect.

Why would persons who believe that they are perfect seek to change? They will not, and that is why it is always futile for persons living with those types, working with those types, or supposedly “in love” with those types to believe that those types will ever change. That is all about useless wishing and futile hoping. One might as well spend a lifetime looking for a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow rather than expending the same amount of energy seeking a job instead.

The next invitation is to wake up and understand that if a narcissist, a sociopath, or a psychopath says to you, “I love you” that they are lying. Maharaj said that “when all the false self identifications are thrown away, what remains is all-embracing love.”

Because those with any of “The Dark Triad” disorders (A) love only their false self identifications, then they will never (B) "throw them away" so (C) they will never be able to feel and give “all-embracing love.” Love of self is all they know.

“The Dark Triad” disorder and “love” are always mutually-exclusive. Those with any of the three "Dark Triad” disorders, as noted, also have the Perfectionistic Personality Disorder (a.k.a., “The God Complex Disorder”). Note, too, that there is no such thing as “A Loving God” version of “The God Complex Disorder."

Moreover, for those “Spiritual Giants” who now identify as “A Supreme Self” or “The Supreme Self” or “The One at One with God” or even “God,” Maharaj said:

“Proclaiming oneself to be an omnipotent, omniscient and omnipotent deity is a clear sign of ignorance”

and

“Get rid of all ideas about yourself, even of the idea that you are God.”

Rather than believing that all light comes from a God or from gods and goddesses, Maharaj advised: “See everything as emanating from the light which is the source of your own being.” He added: “You will find that in that light there is love and infinite energy.” Why?

Because (a) via that light, wisdom will come and Real Love will be understood - as in, “Love is knowing that I am everything” - and (b) “infinite energy” will be understood because the composite unity which you presently are is made of plant food body elements, air, and conscious-energy, and all three are infinite.

In fact, all is energy-matter, and neither energy nor matter can be created or destroyed; thus, elements air and consciousness are infinite . . . have always been and shall forever be. Every composite unity in the past which has temporarily come together has – per the Second Law of Thermodynamics – subsequently come apart and has stayed apart. Such will be the case with all current composite unities as well. It is the elements and air and energy which "survive" the forever-ongoing "comings together" and "comings apart," never a specific composite unity formed when those three only come together temporarily.

Key is understanding the proper answer to this question: Will any particular composite unity which has ever come together and come apart them come back together to enjoy an eternal reward, to suffer an eternal punishment, or to enter into another cycling? No. Therefore, again, forget all concepts and ideas and notions about some kind of “Self” which will survive the relative existence. Forget facing a God who will judge you post-manifestation. If nothing has ever been created, then there is no creator and no Creator.

[Can you see how much freedom and peace can come with that realization? For this present "you," there is only NOW. Enjoy the only time which can be enjoyed, namely, NOW. Don't sweat "later" because "you" will not be "there" or anywhere later. Whoo! What a relief!]

Understand that your parents did not create you. They were but instruments in an ever-continuing cycle which involves an act of friction; which involves a transference of seeds moving from one plant food body into another; which involves a seed contacting an egg; which involves the one with a fertilized egg consuming plant food or things which ate plants;

and which involves in the case of humans involves nothing more than a spontaneous process whereby plant cells convert into human cells and form - routinely and instinctively and automatically - organs, arteries etc. without any consciousness effort on the part of the “mother-to-be.” Never has a man heard after asking his pregnant wife, “How was your day?” this reply: “I am worn out. I made the brain today, and it really required a lot of straining and grunting and concentration and all-out-effort; but I don’t mind because the last thing we want is an ignorant and insane child.”

[That they will “create” later on, after they and their culture start “educating the kid.”]

Maharaj said, “The personality is only an obstacle.” Will a perfectionist, narcissist, sociopath, or psychopath see that? Never. They live a life of assumption, never a life of truth or reality or fact.

The assumption drawn by all four is that they are perfect; therefore, all which flows out of them from that point of assumption results from an unconscious, unawake, unaware, oblivious kind of ignorance-and-delusion-and-distortion-based arrogance and inflated sense of self and inflated sense of self-worth.

Recently, many have been able to see on national television broadcasts in the U.S. a very wealthy man who is so trapped in that mode that ignorance and delusion and distortion and arrogance that he believes that the women who have entered into relationships with him throughout his life were attracted to “him” rather than to his money. That is the kind of conclusion which comes with ignorance-and-delusion-and-distortion-based arrogance and an inflated sense of self and an inflated sense of self-worth.

Be the case one which involves a foolish man who is spending millions to surround himself with women deemed to be “physically beautiful” or a case which involves parents who are normalizing abuse in their homes and modeling that for their children or involves the case with people who claim to be modest but are so arrogant that they now identify with something “Supreme” or even “God,” it all involves ignorance. And ignorance can come in the “commonplace, phenomenal variety” or in a “'unique' Noumenal variety.” Yet in the end, it’s still just ignorance.

Maharaj said that three key symptoms of the Ultimate Sickness, which now manifests on a planet wide basis, are “ignorance, stupidity, and insanity.” All misery and suffering are merely parasites. The hosts of those parasites which sustain them are the widespread “ignorance, stupidity, and insanity.”

Additionally, “ignorance, stupidity, and insanity” are parasites and their hosts are the minds of humans which store the taught nonsense and the learned “ignorance, stupidity, and insanity” which are passed down from one generation to the next via nonsensical and ignorant and stupid and insane programming and conditioning and domestication and acculturation and brainwashing and indoctrination and the nonsensical and ignorant and stupid and insane modeling which parents provide for their children. The chain has a multi-million-year history which has become even more aggravated during the last 5000 years. Is it not time to break the chain?

Efforts to change others will be futile, but one can change the results which have come about because of ignorant and insane programming and conditioning and domestication and acculturation and brainwashing. Freedom awaits, and freedom is available if one allows the light to come and illuminate the dark ideas and concepts and notions (a.k.a., “beliefs”) which are the curse of the present-day human experience for almost all humans on the planet.

“Light” or “darkness?” The invitation is to investigate and see which prevails with you. And equally significant is the invitation to investigate and see which is prevailing among those with whom you regularly associate or whom you are exposed to, for the thoughts and words and actions of those persons will also affect your relative existence as well.

TODAY’S CONSIDERATIONS

As so often is the case with "non-dualists," the present focus is on the role that personality plays in generating and perpetuating darkness rather than light, resulting in a relative existence which feels heavy as opposed to light. Personality assignment and assumption are the precursors to personality disorders, and three of those disorders have so much in common that they are referred to collectively as “The Dark Triad“: the Narcissistic Personality Disorder, The Sociopathic Personality Disorder and the Psychopathic Personality Disorder.

All three of those personality types lead persons to be control freaks; all three lead persons to be abusive; and all except for total hermits deal with all three types on a daily basis. Possibly the most challenging dealings involve (1) those who are “in relationship” with someone who has one, two or even all three of those disorders or (2) those who work for narcissists, sociopaths and / or psychopaths. (The ranks of owners, bosses, CEO's, owners etc. are overloaded with narcissists, sociopaths and / or psychopaths because all three types fight their way into leadership or management or owner roles.)

Susan Krauss Whitbourne, Ph. D. is currently a professor of Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She wrote: “We know that there is a ‘dark side’ to personality, but it turns out that there’s also a dark side to leadership. Although many people assume that psychopaths end up in jail, many of them actually wind up being highly successful in the workplace.”

While owners, managers, CEO's etc. frequently commit unscrupulous and even criminal acts to get ahead, most corporate crimes in many countries are never detected, especially when those in government accept contributions from sociopathic and psychopathic owners who are paying to impede or even block governmental oversight and regulation.

Yesterday, information was shared to help employees identify a sociopathic boss. Today, some of the traits of a psychopathic boss will be discussed. (Again, persons with these three disorders only differ in the degree to which the traits manifest).

Susan Krauss Whitbourne’s twenty-item measure of psychopathic traits in the workplace fall into groups dealing with four factors. One can see how one’s boss (or a loved one's boss) would stack up by rating the extent to which they show these qualities:

Factor 1: Manipulativeness (lack of ethics)

Ingratiates him / herself

Is glib

Uses charm

Claims expertise

Rationalizes

Factor 2: Unreliability / lack of focus

Not loyal

No planning

Unfocused

Impatient

Unreliable Advertisements (and False Presentation of self and Bogus Affect)

Factor 3: Callousness

Insensitive

Rarely shows emotions

Cold inside

Remorseless

No empathy

Factor 4: Intimidating / aggressive

Intimidating

Angry

Asks harsh questions

Threatens other workers

Dramatic

Many allow the agendas of their own assumed roles (as well as the desires and fears which their own personalities and roles generate) to drive them or inspire them to cling to a (usually false) hope that the narcissists, sociopaths or psychopaths in their lives will change. The odds are against that happening.

As the lyrics note in one currently-popular song, those dealing with persons who have any or all of the three disorders in “The Dark Triad” are more than likely going to find that those types will “have a way with words” and will “put the why in try” and the “low in blow" and “a big F.U. in your future.”

Is that all relative “stuff”? You bet. But for all the talk of identification with “THAT,” the AM-ness is what the masses are trying – and usually failing – to deal with presently.

It is neither wise nor noble to tolerate misery, suffering, and abuse. It is not wise to tolerate what the sane would see is intolerable. It is not wise to accept an "upgrade" in lifestyle at any price. It is not wise to rationalize the acceptance of the kinds of abuse which narcissists and sociopaths and psychopaths inflict by saying, "But I love him / her!"

It is not wise to model for children the normalization of abuse. It is not wise to deny the abuse that occurred and then allow that abuse to be passed on to another generation through you. None of that is wise, and none of that is sane.

With pregnancies, there is no "partially pregnant." Similarly, there is no "partially wise," and there is no "partially sane," and there is no "partially okay" abusive behavior.

To understand that "The Dark Triad" disorders manifest on a widespread basis, to understand how to detect the presence of any of those disorders in persons you are dealing with, and to take steps to protect yourself from them is sane and wise. And it is also okay.

To be continued.

TODAY’S CONSIDERATIONS

A few sociopaths make the news, but most will go undetected because the masses are not versed in an understanding of personality and because most never hear a non-dualist's warnings about the way that personality controls the thoughts and words and actions of all “non-realized” humans; the way that personality is behind all fighting and abuse and killing and war; and the way that personality drives persons by way of personas' hidden, subconscious agendas, removing any and all opportunity for the making of wise, sane, conscious choices.

The one versed in world history knows that the Aryans were sociopaths, pillaging and plundering and raping and killing their way first across Europe and Asia and then later joining the Spanish and others as they all pillaged and plundered and raped and killed their way across the areas now called North, Central, and South America.

Some sociopaths have made the history books and the news, including Adolf Hitler, Josef Mengele, Benito Mussolini, Pol Pot, and Robert Mugabe, to name but a few. In more recent times, sociopaths and / or psychopaths have made the news, including Ted Bundy, U.S. military veteran Timothy McVeigh, James Holmes, Adam Lanza, Dylann Roof, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, Dick Cheney, and George Bush (who was abusing animals and blowing frogs to pieces with high-powered fireworks even as a child) again to name but a few.

Yet every day, you and millions upon millions of other persons deal with sociopaths. In the U.S., persons regularly elect sociopaths to run their local and state and national governments. Persons all around the globe receive communion regularly from sociopaths and psychopaths who are child molesters who have historically been protected by upper-echelon religious leaders.

Persons live with mates who abuse them either verbally, mentally, emotionally and / or physically yet stay with them for “a better lifestyle” or because they claim to “love” them or because they have hope that the sociopaths and / or the psychopaths in their lives will change. (That is very unlikely, based in my 68 years of observation and working with them.) Persons sleep at night next to sociopaths and psychopaths, drive in traffic with them, and report to work to answer to them.

Christelyn D. Karazin offers “Six Signs Your Boss Might Be a Sociopath”

"You could have sworn your boss told you that critical meeting was at 9:30 AM, but when you get to the conference room, you realize that powwow has been going on for a half-hour already. Your superior chastises you in front of your peers and the top execs about your tardiness. You try to explain, but your boss insists she told you the right time, and this is one of the many examples of how you are a disorganized employee.

"Later your boss tells you (with just a hint of a smirk) that a major client no longer wants to work with you because, if you can’t be trusted with the small things, how on Earth could you possible handle a multi-million-dollar account? This is called 'work sabotage,' and it happens EVERYDAY to someone, somewhere. But what you might not know is that your boss may be a sociopath, and the chief reason for gaslighting you is because, well for him or her, it’s just fun. So what does a sociopath look like? On the outside, just like everyone else.

"Take a look inside that person’s mind, however, and you’ll find something ugly. And not all sociopaths are criminals. Only the dumb ones get caught. The smart ones could be a politician, lawyer, head of a country, or your immediate superior."

Says Martha Stout Ph.D., author of The Sociopath Next Door: The Ruthless vs. the Rest of Us:

“When it is expedient, the sociopath will doctor the accounting and shred the evidence, stab your employees and your clients (or your constituency) in the back, marry for money, tell lethal pre-meditated lies to people who trust them, attempt to ruin colleagues who are powerful or eloquent, and simply steamroll over groups who are dependent and voiceless.”

"Thus, you might want to check the following signs before you’re ‘late’ one too many times for a business meeting." A sociopathic boss:

1. Fails to acknowledge responsibility and deflects blame onto others. Translation: If that important package that was due to the client for overnight delivery never arrived, watch your back for the airborne knife.

2. No real feelings; no empathy. Translation: If your child is coughing up a lung and the school calls for you to pick up the child and take her or him to the emergency room, expect your boss to ask you, “Just how important is this job to you? You can’t seem to juggle family and work effectively. Maybe we ought to rethink that promotion.”

3. Manipulate and bully for their own purposes. Sociopaths tend to need high levels of stimulation because of their unnatural lack of emotion. Bullying provides them with an adrenaline rush while you run around like a chicken with no head at their command

4. They have no remorse. Translation: After all the sabotage, your boss has managed to get you fired. You’re a single mom with a mortgage to pay and a child in private school and you care for an aging parent. You crumble, beg for another chance, and your bully boss calls security to escort you out of the building and then goes out for drinks.

5. They enjoy making people feel bad about themselves. Translation: Your boss treats everyone on your team to lunch . . . except you.

6. They outrightly sabotage co-workers and employees. Translation: Double check that Power Point presentation, because a workplace sociopath might switch it for a YouTube porno.

There is no lightness for sociopaths, and there is no lightness for those dealing with sociopaths. Yet even as persons are miserable around them, they stay.

A. Some tolerate abuse because their own parents modeled abuse or the tolerance of abuse.

[I met with a woman many years ago who was being abused by her alcoholic husband in front of their six-year-old daughter. The husband / father explained away his closed-fist blows to her body by calling minimizing them as "mere love taps." Site visitors read about her years ago when she said, "He must love me because he would not get so emotional if he didn't' care." I warned her that she was in danger and that she was modeling something very dangerous for her daughter. Now, her twenty-one year old daughter is seeking help because she is with a man who has been physically and mentally and emotionally abusing her for two years. She "wants to get counseling to learn how to help him change." Her father, her mother, the daughter herself, and the daughter's alcoholic, abusive husband are trapped in the Ultimate Sickness, marked - as Maharaj said - by "ignorance, stupidity, and insanity," all wanting to preserve their roles at any cost. Note from the example above how all three of those are passed down from one generation to the next.]

B. Other stay because they have no saleable skills and have been so dependent on others to meet their basic needs that they think they have nowhere to go. They do. They need but find it.

C. Other stay because they have normalized the abnormal.

D. Others stay because they feel they deserve the abuse or because they believe they inspire their "otherwise loving mate" to abuse them.

E. And others stay because their religion has taught them to forgive their abusers, has taught them to "never break relationship," and has taught them to believe that there is something noble about suffering now in order to gain an eternal reward later.

All of those are evidence of persona-driven ignorance and stupidity and insanity.

One will likely never be able to change a sociopath, but persons can change their own relative existence if they see the symptoms of the Ultimate Sickness which are subconsciously driving them and those around them and then seek out someone to guide them along a "path" to (a) truly be restored to sanity and to truly be free of all distorted and delusional thinking (b) rather than just being told they have been restored to sanity though they have not (merely avoiding at present one behavioral symptom of their mental illness rather than addressing the multiple causes).

[Another evidence of the presence of the symptoms of the Ultimate Sickness is that when persons find fool's gold but are told that it is real gold, they stop seeking the real thing and just kick back and seemingly relax and take it easy, much to their eventual detriment.]

Five Free eBooks

Compliments of Andy Gugar, Jr.,
the following eBooks are available without charge for you or for friends:

I.
"GOOD vs. EVIL?" or "IGNORANCE, STUPIDITY, and INSANITY?"

The content of this eBook deals with one of the most common but erroneous beliefs that the non-Realized masses cling to and which they will fight about (and even kill over), namely, that there is a planet-wide duel going on between “the forces of good and evil” in the universe.

Either (1) the ancient view is spot on: that the "ills of the planet" are rooted in evil people, in people not being religious enough or spiritual enough, and are caused solely by bad morality; or, (2) the "ills of the planet" are rooted in ignorance, stupidity and insanity and "being good" or "being moral" does not put an end to ignorance, does not eliminate stupidity, and does not treat insanity in any way.

II.
"THE VISION"

Comments regarding the free eBook entitled “THE VISION”:

“My thanks to you and Andy.” – Andrew “Mac” McMaster

“Thanks so much for the book! And, by the way, it is brilliant and the most effective pointing that you have done. It has served to help clear the remaining blockages.” – Stan Cross

“Greatly appreciate having “THE VISION” added to my Henderson resource library that is situated on the right side of my bed for easy access! Eternally grateful for what was received and what was given.” – Robert Rigby

“‘THE VISION’ is such a well-written, condensed version of the Nisarga Yoga approach to understanding and enjoying Reality that I feel it can serve as a must-read ‘meditation guide’ for all earnest seekers.” – Andy Gugar, Jr.

III.
"Sapolsky, Maharaj, and the Non-Dual Teachings"

Dr. Robert Maurice Sapolsky is an American neuroendocrinologist; a professor of biology, neuroscience, and neurosurgery at Stanford University; a researcher; an author; and a Research Associate at the National Museums of Kenya.

There is much that a non-dualist or Advaitin or Nisargan can relate to by comparing and contrasting what Sapolsky reveals about the way certain troops of baboons live in Africa with the way that humans abide all around the globe.

This 152-page eBook catalogues the common, non-dual message shared by Sapolsky and Maharaj and reveals the ways that Sapolsky’s scientific research supports the non-dual pointers offered by Maharaj.

IV.
Seeking

In “PART ONE” it will be seen that most persons on the planet are not seeking, and most will never seek, but for those who are seeking, most will face several obstacles:

In “PART TWO” of this book, it will be seen why many criticized Maharaj for “changing his message in his later talks.” It will be seen that the changes were not about changing the message per se as much as about changing his methodology as he experimented with one version of the Ultimate Medicine after another in order to try to find an effective means for addressing the Ultimate Sickness.

He tried a religious version of the Medicine, a Spiritual version of the Medicine, and finally settled on a version which addressed to Sickness at its core . . . at the mental and emotional level.

V.
"THE MOST DANGEROUS BELIEF OF ALL"

“Dangerous” is a term that can only apply during the relative existence, but of those who do commit suicide, for example, how many shoot themselves in the foot over and over until they “bleed out”? None. They shoot themselves in the head. Why? In order to try to stop the noise - to try to stop the chatter of a thousand monkeys – to stop the noisy mind which is the area that stores the ideas, notions, concepts, mind-stuff, etc. which drives them into the depths of insanity.

And what are those ideas, notions, concepts, etc. called, collectively? "Their beliefs." The irony? They are not their beliefs at all. They are the beliefs of “others” that were set in place via programming, conditioning, etc. and which persons then think are their own.

And what are those beliefs rooted in, and what reinforces those beliefs and convinces persons that they are sacred and worth fighting over and even sometimes worth dying for? Blind faith.

This 337-page eBook discusses those issues in detail.
