TODAY'S CONSIDERATIONS
"Science will someday advance to the point that it will confirm the validity of the non-dual teachings."

Maharaj estimated at one point that only 1 in 100,000 would ever grasp the non-dual teachings and realize (meaning, be free from living under the influence of what he called "their 'knowledge,' which is actually learned ignorance").
[Maharaj yesterday: "Realization is but the opposite of ignorance."]
After additional years of trying to pass along the non-dual understanding, he would change that estimate to 1 in 1,000,000. Eventually, after working with more and more seekers, he would change his estimate to 1 in 10,000,000.
Why did he eventually recommend to seekers that they study scientific evidence when it comes forth and offers proof of the veracity and validity of the non-dual pointers which sages had long been offering?
Because he knew what the sages were "up against" when . . .
1. they offered pointers which totally contradict the nonsense and ignorance which persons are taught via nonsensical and ignorant but never questioned programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, brainwashing, and indoctrination; when
2. that programming, conditioning, etc. generates a belief in a host of personal identifications which are all based in nonsense and ignorant which is rooted in programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, brainwashing, and indoctrination but is never questioned; when . . .
3. the agendas of those personal identifications are driven by enormous levels of egotism and arrogance and conceit and self-importance and baseless pride which leads persons to be willing to fight and even die in defense of the beliefs which perpetuate the continuing delusions that those false identities are real and truly existence; and when . . .
4. all of that leads to the spreading of the Ultimate Sickness and a normalization of three of its key symptoms which Maharaj identified as "ignorance, stupidity and insanity."
[That Sickness? Lao Tzu referenced it yesterday: “To know that you do not know is the best. To think you know when you do not is a disease. Recognizing this disease as a disease is to be free of it.”]
And all of that is what sages are "up against" when they offer pointers which are anathema to the masses; when they try to guide persons out of the zone where they have become more comfortable with lies than with truth; more comfortable with distortions than clear perspectives; more comfortable with ignorance than wisdom; with more comfortable with insanity than sanity, all the while having no clue at all that their thoughts and words and actions are being driven by lies, by distortions, by ignorance and by insanity.
[Martin Luther King, Jr. yesterday: “Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.”]
[Maharaj yesterday: "An ignorant man is ignorant of his ignorance."]
[Issac Asimov yesterday: “There is a cult of ignorance in the United States [and worldwide], and there has always been."
How, other than with scientific proof of the cycling process, can persons who believe 100% that were born, ever understand that there is no such thing as birth?
How, other than with scientific proof regarding the fact that a plethora of universes exist, can persons who believe 100% that "this universe" and "our planet" are "special and unique" ever understand that there is no such thing as "a special and unique world"?
How, other than with scientific proof regarding the fact that all is energy-matter and that never of those can be created nor destroyed, can persons who believe 100% that they created a child ever understand that there is no such thing as creating anything?
How, other than with scientific proof regarding the fact that all is energy-matter and that never of those can be created nor destroyed, can persons who believe 100% in "a Creator" ever understand that there is no such thing as anyone or Anyone who ever created anything?
Yet in spite of all of the proof available to support those non-dual pointers and hundreds of others, why did Maharaj predict than only a few thousand humans at any given time will realize? Because persons have no desire whatsoever to give up the "ignorance and stupidity and insanity" of their Sickness. They've become accustomed to those symptoms and their ignorance and stupidity and insanity-driven relative existence.
Humans are raised to never question authority, be that authority a parent or a priest or a preacher or a favorite politician or anyone else telling them that . . .
A. "There is a male god" or "There are gods and goddesses"; and
B. if you do not believe in Him / Them, then you'll be sent into a pit of eternal flames and suffer mental and psychological misery and torment for eternity" or "You can be reborn many times and continue to manifest as one lesser form after another and experience misery and suffering unless you follow our dogma exactly"; and
C. if you believe without questioning and with total blind faith, then eternal rewards await you.
Now Maharaj or you or I come along and call "BS!" on that? The typical reaction is going to be:
"Well, Pardner, them there is fightin' words."
And if any of us offer scientific proof that nothing can be either created or destroyed, that evidence will be ignored or will be rejected hands down, immediately.
Instead, you might hear something like this:
"Get thee away from me, Satan" (or, as one woman screamed at me, "Now I see it: you're a New Age Agent of Satan!")

Maharaj: "If you seek reality you must set yourself free of all backgrounds, of all cultures, of all patterns of thinking and feeling. Even the idea of being man or woman, or even human, should be discarded."
Free "of all cultures"; that is, free of the effects of acculturation; free of the influence of all cults and their teachings (including the sky cults - the modern religions - which are rooted in the myths and superstitions and tales on which the early pagan religions were founded) and including Hinduism as well. What?! Hinduism as well?!
Consider this point which is included in an "Appendix" in the back of I AM THAT: "Hinduism comprises numerous sects, creeds and cults and the origin of most of them is lost in the antiquity").
Cults only come in one variety, whether deemed to be religion cults, spirituality cults, recovery cults, political cults, racist cults, white supremacist cults, terrorist cults, satanic cults, black magic cults, gang cults, Mormon cults, Scientology cults, etc., etc., etc.: they are all, at their core, cults of ignorance.
