THE SEEDS OF DUALITY WHICH PRODUCE DUALITY'S PROGENY:
Offspring Number Thirty-Seven =
An Inability to Differentiate Between "self" and "Self" and to understand what "the Self" Is and What "the Self" is not and to understand both the not-Self and the not-self.
THERE IS NO REALITY TO EITHER selfness OR SELFNESS
Seekers were often frustrated when Maharaj spoke repeatedly about how simple this understanding really is. They usually did not agree, especially when they were still struggling with the first three steps and still trapped in body and mind and personality identifications.
So he clarified and explained that "someday science will advance to the point where it will confirm all of the non-dual teachings."
In other words, once you have the facts, then the understanding is simple.
When I was young, a radio show entitled Dragnet, which became a television series and later a motion picture, was popular. It dealt with crimes being solved by an L.A. detective named Joe Friday;
When interviewing witnesses, he used a keep-it-short-and-to-the-point style. He had more significant things to do than to be a captive audience for bucket mouths who wanted to drone on and on and discuss everything except the specifics.
Thus, during many shows he would be heard to interrupt a babbler and say, "Just the facts, ma'am" or "Just the facts, sir."
That is what the last few postings and a few more which are upcoming are attempting to provide:

and a Joe-Friday-style
"Just the facts, ma'am" / "Just the facts, sir."
The facts:
The only reason that there is that which persons take to be "a me" or "a self" is because two other humans (for one or more of a variety of reasons) entered into a sexual act of friction which resulted in a sperm fertilizing an egg.
After that, the "mom-to-be" ate plant food or food from things which ate plants; then, inside her body, plant cells were converted into human cells for nine months; and, voila, there "you" were.
That process began as a two-player-only action, not a three-player action, so there was no third party from another world who guided a particular sperm to unite with a particular egg. No ménage-a-trois with a third heavenly player was involved.
[In fact, there cannot have ever been a Creator at all. Why? All is energy / matter and energy / matter cannot be created or destroyed. Because all is energy / matter and because energy / matter has never been created, there is obviously no Creator. See why religious and many spiritual persons hate science? The facts screw up their whole gig, huh?]
So where in the hell in that two-party, horniness-driven all-relative, no other-worldly-god involved process can anyone other than those trapped in egotism believe that something magical was involved with their conception?
That they were "created" in a process involving a god? That they are a heaven-sent-gift or "an answer to out prayers"? That they were something special right from the get-go? That some Other-World Being put them on planet earth to have some special meaning and some special purpose? And that they needed to search for their special purpose and meaning?
Persons who buy into any of those dreamed up concepts need to enroll in a fourth-grade level biology class in order to get the facts and just the facts, ma'am or sir.
So all that "you" presently are is a three-part composite unity of earth elements which are forming a space through which oxygen and conscious-energy can cycle.
Which of those parts could anyone believe will survive mahasamadhi intact and become a half-bird, half human creature? Or could transform into a gauzy "soul" capable of living forever and singing praises to an obviously-narcissistic god who wants 24 / 7 praise . . . forever?
Can the earth elements form a soul, even though elements can be seen with the naked eye but no soul have ever been seen at all in spite of trillions and trillions of med school students and surgeons and coroners having cut open bodies and viewed every inch of the interior of trillions upon trillions of body interiors without ever having seen a soul?
Or does the oxygen become the soul? Certainly oxygen is invisible to the naked eye. Might that be the deal?
Or is a soul made of conscious-energy?
But, uh oh, in the case of humans, conscious-of-ness cannot happen unless the conscious-energy is manifested within a viable, living body. Post-mahasamadhi, that requirement cannot be met.
Or for others who believe in karma and reincarnations, what could be re-born over and over, even though there was nothing born even once?
Maharaj: "You were never born once, so how could you possibly be reborn?"
and
"Karma is only a word you have learnt to repeat. You have never been, nor shall ever be, a person. Refuse to consider yourself as one. But so long as you do not even doubt yourself to be a Mr. So-and-so, there is little hope. When you refuse to open your eyes, what can you be shown?"
and
"Reincarnation implies a reincarnating self. There is no such thing."
Science's Second Law of Thermodynamics explains that all sorts of things in the universe come together but they will be assured to eventually come apart.
That includes universes and solar systems and suns / stars and bridges and buildings and cities and states and nations and . . . human bodies.
Grasp a few scientific facts and then the non-dual teachings (un-teachings) really are simple to comprehend, including the teachings involving no-selfness and no-SELFNESS.
For now, the only fact that can be stated about a temporarily-manifested "self" is "I am."
The second that any noun or adjective is inserted after that, or the second that any supposedly Supreme Noun or Adjective is inserted after that, a lie based in a total misunderstanding of both scientific facts and the non-dual teachings (un-teachings) has been spoken.
Stick to the facts, grasp the understanding, then sit back and relax as do the deer that Maharaj described as abiding naturally - rather than unnaturally or supernaturally - and "lying in the cool, blue shade" and taking it easy.
So why do so many not want to accept the relevant facts?
The only two options involved are . . .
1. first understanding the relevant facts
or
2. continuing to cling to a preference for a Foo-Foo Land, emotionally-intoxicated, super spiritual focusing upon whatever can be used to support a "Spiritual Giant Identity" now and a "Supreme Self Identity" later.

THE EXPLANATION
If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.
Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of God in the past was of a weak God, an absentee God, A Santa Claus-type God, a mean, punishing, vindictive God, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring God whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to."
The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a God that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").
Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring God,' any supposed God that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'God' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part.
"That is, a non-narcissistic god / goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'God' and focus on the 'God as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you."
Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:
"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"

"Heaven and hell are not geographic places
but are states of mind, nothing more than
concepts dreamed up by men."

"There is no hell."

in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari,
a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record
teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium.
[That said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional courage required to question the very existence of their institution in light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of billions of their members past and present.
And that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will they? Not likely. Why?
Because what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the international crime families which hold sway over the masses as criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major international crime families and which are the most influential and have the largest memberships?
The Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion followers); Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers) like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)
With all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business, politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the driving forces at play.
The masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
