On the patio one morning, a bird was sitting on the edge of the table. After preparing a cup of breve and then going outside and approaching the table, it was seen that the bird flew away. Why? Did it have "a thought?" No. Was it conscious of some verbalized lesson taught? No.
It moved away merely because the manifested consciousness allowed it to sense its Presence. Combine that with the desire of the manifested consciousness to extend itself and voilà - the movement away. If talk of the presence of consciousness fits more with the understanding you have at this point, fine, use that for now.
At some point, though, if You reach the final understanding that is being pointed to here, You will allow Me to pour into You the Ultimate Medicine that acts as what is called here "a type of dissolving agent." (Again, these pointers are only for those at the highest state of readiness.)
Then, all of your sense of Me-ness and a prior Me and a post-manifestation Me will dissolve into nothingness. There will be no you ... no You ... no individual ... nothing personal ... nothing Personal ... and, in the end ... not even the consciousness of "being present."
Want peace? There it is. In sleep, there is no sense of being present that is being registered. Prior to, as the Absolute, there was no "being present" that was registering. Post to, as the Absolute, there will be no "being present" that will register.
If there is a WHO involved, "being present" will register and you'll fly about as the bird did that morning when it became disturbed because it wanted its "being present" to continue.
The bird that morning had no choice, but you might. If you become free of being driven by personas, (especially your "good" spiritual persona vs. your former "bad" roles that you have supposedly abandoned), which would you choose?
Presence and peace, or "being present" and fluctuating between peace and disturbance? Playing spiritual roles for the next forty years, or living naturally and joyfully now, day by day?
Strutting about in a fine cloak of spirituality that requires constant maintenance, or moving through this relative existence in a low-maintenance garb (as is the case with the one here that is admittedly a tiny pygmy when next to the Spiritual Giants who occasionally approach and hover overhead and look down at this tiny speck)?

"99.99% of all humans suffer from the Ultimate Sickness. Suffering from the symptoms of duality - including reactions based in emotion and in false identities and personas, the majority live in misery and chaos.
As with alcoholism, duality is a sickness that tells the sufferer, "You are not sick. Everything is okay. This is the way it is SUPPOSED to be." As most recovered alcoholics know, nothing could be further from the truth. Those of us who have recovered from duality know this also because we were fortunate enough to discover the Ultimate Medicine and were ready to take it.
The Ultimate Medicine as prescribed by Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj was often difficult for Westerners to grasp. The teachings came through interpreters and the books contain transcripts of satsang sessions that he held upstairs in his small tenement apartment in Bombay / Mumbai. The answers to each questioner were suited for the questioner's level of understanding. As Maharaj neared "death," the teachings were directed to those at the most advanced levels of understating. This resulted in some confusion and charges that Maharaj contradicted himself.
Fortunately for us, Floyd Henderson took the teachings into contemplation and as a result of his Realization, he was able to sort the teachings into seven steps. Duality blocks the consciousness, but Floyd's seven steps cure the illness, step-by-step, in the reverse order by which we were afflicted.
The later pointers are not appropriate for everyone. Floyd has written pointers for those at all stages of seeking, and as an experienced Advaitin, he know who needs which pointer.
When I worked the Direct Path Method with the Nisarga Yoga, the books at that time had to be ordered individually. Now, for the first time, all of the teachings that point to freedom from duality-based existence are now available in one less-expensive books.
Some will choose to continue to burn incense, to fast, to be celibate, to meditate, to take communion, and to doze in pews, but the earnest seekers will spend $19.95 and begin to take the Ultimate Medicine and to start recovering from that which ails almost all of humanity.
It would be advisable to work with Floyd in one of many ways that he has made available.
