A DAILY CONSIDERATION FOR YOU
PART TWO REVIEW [continued]
162. To watch a newscast is to see the functioning of humankind’s insane goings and doings and zoomings as their thoughts lead to their words and their words lead to their actions.
163. When a man kills his wife and three children with a gun, reporters from all of the local news stations rush to the scene to interview the neighbors. The comments time and again move from
the one offered by a totally naïve and obtuse neighbor who says, “I can’t believe it . . . he was always so nice and friendly . . . he always waved hello when you saw him . . . he was really a great guy”
to
the one offered by the more-straight-talking neighbor who says, “The guy had to be totally nuts! This is insane, man!”
to
the National Rifle Association spokesperson on the television news report that night who says, “The only way to stop a bad person with a gun is for a good person to have a gun, and in this case, there was simply no good person there with a gun. We need more guns . . . not fewer”
to
the panel of local religious ministers who explain on "The Sunday Religious Forum" TV show that “evil is in the world” and that “the only answer is for people to turn to God and to give their lives to Jesus Christ and allow Him to be their Lord and Savior.”
164. The thoughts among the non-Realized masses are rooted in what Maharaj called “ignorance, stupidity, and insanity,” so the insane actions seen - and the subsequent insane words heard - like those aired on a daily basis via television broadcasts will almost always be rooted in insanity:
“A great guy”? No.
"The answer is that there are good people and bad people and we need more guns out there" (so every dispute can then be addressed with a Wild West-style shootout as if "the good guys" always win a gunfight)? No.
“This is about good vs. evil and too many people who are not attending church regularly and receiving guidance about how they should be living”? No.
“Totally nuts . . . insane”? Yes.
165. So what other sorts of actions does the always-insane mind inspire? As a result of both conscious and subconscious beliefs, and as a result of being driven by the unconscious, hidden agendas of personas which generate totally insane behaviors, persons are willing to:
a. accept unhappiness over loneliness;
to
b. accept chaos over boredom;
to
c. accept taking a chance at contracting a fatal STD rather than continuing to feel rejected or “unloved” or simply horny;
to
d. accept a religion’s teachings which suggest that one should “die while killing infidels for God”;
to
e. accept being driven by the beliefs of others and by the hidden agendas of false identities;
to
f. accept the notion that misery and suffering in this life are to be tolerated as a result of believing that eternal happiness awaits; and
to
g. accept unquestioningly the beliefs and values and ways of one's parents and thereby perpetuate the ignorance and insanity that has dominated their family members for generations.
166. Yet there is an alternative: find true freedom by being truly free of the content that has been crammed into the mind via programming, conditioning, acculturation, domestication, brainwashing, and indoctrination.

A DAILY CONSIDERATION FOR YOU
PART TWO REVIEW [continued]
146. Currently, the state of humankind is this:
A. every non-Realized human has a mind;
B. though the mind was originally an asset, it has become a liability;
C. the reason for that shift is because the modern mind is filled with nonsense;
D. more than any other single source of a mind's content, it is blind faith that fills minds the most; and
E. what blind faith fills minds with is total nonsense, total bunk, total rubbish.
147. Virgil wrote: “Ómnia fert aetas, animum quoque,” that is, “Time bears away all things, even our minds.”
148. At the time of mahasamadhi, complete freedom from the mind happens; thus, peace begins.
149. The catch: there is no “one” post-manifestation to know or to enjoy that peace (the peace of mindlessness) which mahasamadhi guarantees.
150. Therefore, if it is peace which is sought, that can only happen now by allowing the mind to end now.
151. The mind can end now if all beliefs end – if they are all cast aside - including the most insane of all beliefs: those rooted in blind faith.
152. Have you considered the terms which point to the opposite of blind faith?
153. Consider “enlightened” as opposed to “not having enough light to see.”
154. Consider “Illuminati” (the plural of the Latin word for "enlightened," which is “illuminatus”) vs. blind faith which removes any chance of having the illumination required to see truth.
155. Consider that when the light in a barn is subdued – rendering one almost blind - then a rope can be mistaken for a snake.
156. Consider that the expression “blinded by love” is used to describe someone who is totally asleep to the red flags in a relationship, red flags which are obvious to all except the one who cannot see those flags (usually because they are being denied and ignored as a result of the hidden agendas and desires and fears of one - or more often several - personas).
157. Consider that when one is asleep, that condition most often involves (a) being in the dark and (b) having one’s eyes closed and (c) being blind to everything that is happening all around and (d) only perceiving the content of one’s dreams and mistaking that content for what is real although reality (and Reality) are not, in fact, being seen at all.
158. Consider that in such cases referenced above where one is “blinded by love” (that is, by the desires, fears, and hidden agendas of personalities), one can mistake a snake for a rope (meaning that things which are quite harmful, relatively speaking, can be seen as being totally harmless and even desirable).
159. Consider that unclear seeing and improper seeing result in mistaking distortions and misperceptions and delusions as real.
160. Consider having vision (or “The Vision”?) as opposed to having no vision (or no “Vision”).
161. Consider that the wearing of a mask can impede one’s vision, that “persona” is the Latin word for mask, and that the use of personas / masks will always impede clear and proper seeing.

A DAILY CONSIDERATION FOR YOU
PART TWO REVIEW [continued]
130. How easy it could be to return to the original no-belief, no-mind condition if one were to come to prefer the natural (Nisargan) over the unnatural and / or the supposedly supernatural.
131. Of all of the unnatural (and supposedly “supernatural” or “religious” or “spiritual”) things that humans do, the most unnatural is . . . thinking.
132. Maharaj said, “No particular thought can be mind's natural state, only silence.”
133. Of the billions and trillions of life-forms on planet earth which have come and gone or which exist today, none – except for humans – think. And all of those non-human life-forms have a far less ignorant and far saner track record than humans. Why?
134. Because the continuum among humans is to begin with thoughts, to allow those to control and determine which words are spoken, and then to allow those to combine to control and determine the actions that humans take.
135. And if one's thoughts are unnatural (or supposedly “supernatural” or “religious” or “spiritual”) and ignorant and insane, then one's words will be driven by ignorance and insanity
136. As a result, the actions of all among the non-Realized masses have to be – by default – unnatural (or supposedly “supernatural”) and ignorance-based and insanity-driven.
[Here's a preview of the key point in an upcoming post: It’s all so simple.
A man who came here for a retreat this year has finally begun to allow the pointers which were offered to truly “steep” and thereby make up a healthy dose of Realization tea.
In the process, he is finally realizing that all of his efforts for so many years involved his desire to escape and to avoid all things relative by reaching some “other state” far removed from the relative state.
Now he’s beginning to see that the only state that he will ever “know” is the relative state. Post-manifestation, there will be no “one” to know or experience anything. To that end, he is beginning to realize that the existence for every living thing on the planet (except for humans) is a fairly-simple existence and that non-duality is offering the opportunity to join all other life-forms and thereby enjoy a fairly-simple existence as well.
One man from India wrote some years ago and said, “I sat in Maharaj’s tiny loft and heard him say that ‘this is all so simple’ and ‘it is all very simple’ and ‘the I AM is just pure and simple being.’ He said it, but it has been you that has shown me why it is simple, how to reach the simple, and how to keep it simple. Thank you.”
Humans’ complex problems are of their own making because their blind-faith-based ignorance which was passed down from parents, grandparents, etc. are subsequently passed along to the next generation.
Humans and their relative existence is becoming more ignorant, more stupid, and more insane because those driven by ignorance-and-stupidity-and-insanity-based beliefs are breeding (and breeding and breeding) and are now passing along their ignorance-and-stupidity-and-insanity-and-blind-faith-based beliefs to their offspring.
That is why, in recent sessions with persons who are psychologists, therapists, and private-practice counselors, they reported that they are witnessing issues in children that they had never seen before in their practices during the last 20 or 30 or 40 years:
a five-year old, full-blown sociopath who is trying to stab classmates in their eyes with his pencil;
a six-year old who has already been suspended from school a half dozen times because of misconduct and fighting and harming classmates;
a child with such a degree of oppositional defiance that he is hitting classmates and teachers and principals alike and who has said that when he is older he is “going to come back to this school with a gun and kill all of you”;
and
a child who is three years old but cannot pronounce even one single word properly because his mother determined that he needed no treatment because she found on the internet where some narcissistic parent in the same situation concluded that his child was not talking because of what he termed “the Einstein syndrome" whereby - he concluded - "the children of highly intelligent parents often develop more slowly than other children." In the case of the three-year-old, the school directors said "get the child to an audiologist and speech therapists or we’re going to have to expel him until you so." "The Super Mom" was enraged that the school personnel were not recognizing her extreme intelligence and the subsequent effects of her superior, Einstein-like intelligence on her child. Malignant narcissism is just more evidence of the presence of distorted thinking and ignorance and insanity.]
137. Here is the reality around "the no-peace and no-silence condition" vs. "the peace and the silence condition": both are guaranteed to come someday (when mahasamadhi is taken), so why not welcome peace and silence sooner rather than later?
138. Maharaj: “When the relative is over, the absolute remains. The silence before the words were spoken, is it different from the silence that comes after? The silence is one, and without it the words could not have been heard. Shift your attention from words to silence and you will hear it.”
139. And in order to shift attention from words to silence, the continuum shows that thoughts must go first.
140. Recall the wisdom pointed to in John Warren’s sign: “If I am the one talking, I am not the one discovering or understanding that which I have not yet discovered or that which I do not yet understand.”
141. Among the Realized, there is a consideration that could almost be a “non-duality’s motto": Why add to the already-excessive amount and volume of noise with more needless talk?
142. Yet most persons will never sit in the silence (in fact, cannot stand the silence), and that is why most persons cannot sit still rather than being driven to go and do and zoom.
143. Words lead to deeds; thus, words, which break the silence, also inspire action . . . doingness. And the doingness reinforces the bogus concept of a do-er.
144. And what do those trapped in blind faith do? They try to force their blind-faith-based beliefs on others.
145. As an understanding of the continuum above makes clear, as long as there is a mind, there will be thoughts; and as long as there are thoughts, there will surely follow words; and as long as there are words, then actions and going and doing and zooming will surely follow. Good riddance to it all.
To be continued.

A DAILY CONSIDERATION FOR YOU
PART TWO REVIEW [continued]
116. It is understood that whatever actions that persons take, those acts are preceded, in order, by thoughts first and then words second. If Realized, the consciousness may speak, or not, but there will be far fewer words if words happen to be spoken.
117. Thus, if far fewer words are spoken, there will be far fewer deeds, meaning, far less going and doing and zooming. What is required to meet the basic relative needs will continue to happen when possible, but all of the superfluous and extraneous going and doing and zooming of the pre-Realization days will spontaneously and automatically end.
118. Conversely, if thoughts are driven by blind faith, then many words will come because it is taught that faith must be shown. That might entail praying in public (though Christ said one should never pray in public, another pointer that his “followers” are unaware of).
119. Or, if thoughts are driven by blind faith, then many words will also come because faith, according to those teaching that concept, must be shared (meaning, the faithful are to promote their religion and are to convince persons to believe what they believe as well as advocate, advance, spread, proselytize, evangelize, recruit, and convert. And – if conversion is refused? Then the one refusing must be alienated, punished, ostracized, tortured, or even killed).
120. Another result of believing in - and being driven by - blind faith is magical, warped, distorted thinking which twists perspectives and perceptions in such a way that natural events are viewed as supernatural events.
121. Thus, when a non-dual realist suggests that there is not one, single shred of empirical evidence that any blind-faith-based belief is true, those who are driven by such blindness will cite as evidence all sorts of misinterpreted, nonsensical “proofs” which are actually based in nothing more than the false information received via one's original and continuing programming, acculturation, domestication, indoctrination, and brainwashing. Such is the so-called “proof” or “evidence” or “confirmation” of their blind-faith-based beliefs.
122. What is the actual, relevant empirical evidence regarding blind faith, and what are the observable, obvious relative results of the blind faith which has now been spread all around the globe?
123. The blind-faith-based fighting and killing referenced above have also spread as well.
124. The empirical evidence of blind faith was observable thousands of years ago among Jews and non-Jews in their religion-based wars; among Far Eastern Hindus and Muslims; among Christians, via their Inquisitions, via the American Holocaust when 150,000,000 of the non-Christian indigenous peoples were slaughtered by Christians, via their witchcraft trails, etc.
125. Radical, fundamentalist Islamists have now taken up the torch, and the ancient Jew-Christian-Muslim-Hindu fighting continues to rage all around the globe, as it has for centuries. That is all driven by blind faith (along with a heavy dose of the “ignorance and insanity” which always accompanies blind faith).
126. Additionally, if thoughts are driven by blind faith, then many words will also come because - according to the leaders who teach the doctrine of blind faith – one’s faith must not be hidden but must be used to convert persons and have them join one religion or another; or to convert persons from one denomination or sect to another; or to impose the proper punishment for those who do not acquiesce.
127. Again, magical, warped, distorted thinking always accompanies blind-faith-based beliefs.
128. So why does that belief have such a stranglehold on 97-99% of all persons on the planet (besides what Maharaj called the “ignorance and stupidity and insanity” which characterize the Ultimate Sickness and which drive the non-Realized masses)? What are the perceived “perks” that make blind faith so popular?
A. Blind faith leads to (1) freedom from responsibility; (2) to a constant and comforting (though delusional) sense of always being right and forever appearing to be "good" - in fact, "really good"; and (3) in other cases, to an extreme sense of pride (a.k.a., narcissism).
B. Freedom from responsibility: “Everything is God’s will,” ultimately; or "It's all good for it is all God"; or "God is my Guide"; or "It is God, not I, who determines everything I do for I have turned my life and my will and my care over to Him."
C. Delusion: Heard often from those playing out their religious role: “I have no doubt that God had a plan for me, and part of the plan was sending me my spouse.”
D. Arrogance / narcissism: “I have no doubt that God sent me to her to rescue her from the lifestyle she was in.”
E. More narcissism: “I know that my faith has made me a better person . . . totally different, and so much better. As the flames on the Methodist cross indicate, I have been purified.”
F. The convenience of being able to claim, for example, that “Only Jesus was perfect. I am a sinner, but I turn to God regularly and ask him to forgive my sins and He does.” Stating that regularly provides a triple bonus: (1) it provides for the ability to sin at will, based in the “I’m a sinner and not perfect” claim; and (2) it provides the ability to "sin" away - to "sin" ad infinitum - knowing I'll still receive my eternal reward as a result of asking God's forgiveness; and then (3) it provides the ability to get a clean slate again by merely asking for it. (Overall, it provides quite a handy way to go through the relative existence if persons want to do anything and everything they want with no relative accountability, the effects of their actions be damned.)
129. And those are only a few of the reasons that blind faith is the most dangerous belief of all, relatively speaking.
To be continued.
Please enter into the silence of contemplation.

A DAILY CONSIDERATION FOR YOU
PART TWO REVIEW [continued]
[Some of the pointers are from the eBook below entitled THERE’S NO SUCH THING AS PEACE OF MIND]:
94. The key obstacles to Realization are beliefs, and the most dangerous belief of all, relatively speaking, is blind faith which supports (a) all sorts of false personas and the agendas they bring along with (b) a collection of thousands upon thousands of ideas and concepts and notions and perceptions (a.k.a., beliefs), each of which the non-Realized value to no end.
95. An understanding of the personality types—and the obstacles to Realization that are generated by each personality—can reveal why so few will ever Realize.
96. Fifty percent of the earth’s populations are Type Sixes. When Sixes are programmed with dogma, as 97% on the planet are, they will remain loyal to those beliefs, unquestioningly, and will accept what they have been told. Why? Being fear-based, they become trapped by their programmers’ threat: “If you do not have faith in what we say or if you doubt any part of it at all, you will be punished and you will suffer now and forevermore.”
97. Therefore, the tally of those who will never be enlightened starts with that 50% who most likely will never give up their beliefs in dogma and nonsense. Writer Mark McCloskey had this to say about faith: “Faith is a crutch that humans have used for millennia as a way to explain the unexplainable . . . .”
98. He continued: “If you stay with a crutch when you do not need it, you can become lame by reason of the crutch itself. The crutch must be abandoned, thrown away and then you can walk freely again . . . . ” and he noted that "Faith or any belief system as a whole is the final hurdle to overcome in the human path towards freedom and joy."
99. Let me say it on a very 'personal' level," he said. "Until you, as a human being, are able to completely abandon what you believe, what you have been told or taught, and what you were told to believe or believe in, you will never experience this moment of reality as it is. You will never be fully free. You will be conditioned to experience present reality through a veil of the past." He concluded: "This is not a joke, not any agnostic or atheistic principle. I am trying to point you to your own total human freedom to be able to live in this world joyfully . . . ."
100. McCloskey and Maharaj would be in agreement: (1) Question everything in order to abandon, once and for all, what you believe and what you have been told or taught.
101. The Ultimate Sickness is centered in the mind and begins only after a mind has been pumped full of Sickness-inducing contaminates (that is, contaminated or obtuse or perverted or really-sick ideas, concepts, etc.) all of which make up what can be called a non-Realized person’s “belief system.”
102. The more "stuff" (i.e., nonsense) that is stored in the mind, the greater the Sickness. The fewer beliefs, the less serious the Sickness. If the mind ends, by eliminating all beliefs, then the Sickness also ends.
103. The elimination and the subsequent freedom will never happen if blind faith is present and being used to defend one’s false identities and one’s ignorant and insane beliefs stored therein.
104. And what does the mind do . . . constantly? It thinks. When persons say that they want “peace of mind,” what they are really longing for is a no-thought state.
105. Some recommend "changing your thoughts" or "converting your negative thoughts into positive thoughts." That just involves more thinking, and that thinking is always of “the wishful” variety. The result of wishful thinking? Nil, at best, misery and suffering at the worst.
106. “Pleasant” thoughts are thoughts about what one desires, but those always eventually lead to disappointment. All other thoughts are "unpleasant" and thus disturbing. Thus, thoughts are useless at best, suffering-and-misery-generating at the worst.
107. To be able to enjoy the peace that comes with the silence (which happens when words are absent) then there must first be an absence of thoughts.
108. Most will never experience even briefly the “still-mind” state.
109. If there is a mind that is present, it will be forever in motion.
110. For those who do reach the state, it is usually a temporary event rather than a fixed state.
111. Only a few will ever reach the no-mind (that is, a no-beliefs) state.
112. Only if the mind has been eliminated – by giving up all beliefs – can the peace of a "no-words state" and of a "no-actions state" exist.
113. Maharaj: “I am fully conscious, but since no desire or fear enters my mind, there is perfect silence.”
114. He would eventually report that when he reached a “zero concepts” state, he simultaneously reached a “no-mind” state.
115. He explained that when “all subsides,” then “the mind merges into silence,” saying, “as to my mind, there is no such thing.”

A DAILY CONSIDERATION FOR YOU
PART TWO REVIEW [continued]
45. The prerequisite for being restored to sanity is the same as the prerequisite for Realization (which actually go hand-in-hand because they are one and the same): you must question everything.
46. Maharaj also advised: “Be alert. Question, observe, investigate . . . but, you must not ask idle questions, to which you already know the answers.”
47. To awaken as a result of questioning it all effectively, you must first see that you were put to sleep via programming, domestication, conditioning, acculturation, brainwashing and indoctrination.
48. The result was, ever since those processes went into effect, that you walked in your sleep; talked in your sleep; drove in your sleep if you had a car; worked in your sleep if you had a job; and functioned (or malfunctioned) in your “relationships” while asleep to truth and reality.
49. Here, and now, comes the invitation to realize that being asleep while dreaming one is awake is (a) natural if physically asleep but is (b) most unnatural if physically awake.
50. Thus Maharaj said, “When you shall begin to question your dream, awakening will be not far away.”
51. Thus, his key point on the subject: “You must question everything.”
52. “Everything” includes parents, government, big business, God, religion and religious dogma, and spiritual principles; “everything” also includes all authority figures, such as preachers, priests, rabbis, ayatollahs, “sponsors,” “guides,” “coaches” and their “values” and beliefs; grandparents and their “values” and beliefs; your “ancestors” and their “values” and beliefs.
53. “Everything” also includes all other relatives and their “values” and beliefs; all neighbors and their “values” and beliefs; all employers and their “values” and beliefs which they inspire you to adopt in order to please them and gain favor; all teachers; all Big Name Teachers;(whom Maharaj warned seekers to stay away from completely); all gurus; all of your so-called “lovers” and their “values” and beliefs; but, most of all, yourself . . . your selves . . . and their agendas (which function at a subconscious level).
54. Persons must determine if truth might actually be the 180-degree opposite of what they have been taught or have come to believe (unquestioningly) for their entire lives.
55. Other questions to ask objectively might help reveal if you are being driven by the desire for financial support or some kind of ego-based payoff or some perverted psychological implantation of a belief from your youth or by the lingering effects of childhood experiences or because you have normalized abuse or neglect. Most are.
56. Some few function via wisdom, so they know immediately that the price of such entitlements take far-too-heavy a toll to be worthwhile.
57. No price is higher than the price of inauthenticity.
58. To avoid finding and understanding and then being freed from the roots of misery and suffering in the relative is to insure that misery and suffering will characterize the relative, and all of that has to do with unquestioned mind-full-ness and blind faith.
59. It is pain that is of the body; misery and suffering are strictly and solely of the mind.
60. The prerequisites for misery and suffering include (A) a mind; (B) a mind which has been programmed, domesticated, conditioned, acculturated, brainwashed and indoctrinated and filled with dualistic prejudices and concepts and all sorts of other nonsense; (C) that is, a mind filled with beliefs; (D) a mind that now takes assigned or assumed personalities to be actual identities; (E) a mind that is thus driven by the hidden fears and desires of the multiple personalities that have been assigned and assumed; and (F) a mind which has been programmed to question nothing and to accept all that has been taught by authority figures and which now accepts all of the implanted beliefs as a result of blind faith alone.
61. Freedom and peace come with questioning . . . with seeing that what you were taught and what you now believe is all BS.
62. Freedom and peace come with seeing that your seldom-considered perspectives might well be totally backwards and are not serving your best (relative) interests.
63. Freedom and peace come with being free of the constant desire to have, and to have more of what you don’t have, and to have less of what you do.
64. Freedom and peace come with turning away from nonsense and being open to the truth surrounding your reality as well as the Truth regarding Reality (neither of which can come until all which is false has been discarded).
65. During days long past, the mind was humanity's friend; nowadays, however, to sleepwalk under the auspices of the content of the modern mind is to sleep with the enemy.
66. As for questioning, it is needless to question whether “2 + 2 really equals 4,” or not.
67. The questions to be asked are those which most persons do not know the answers to, and those are the ones dealing with the firmly-held beliefs that relegate them to entrapment into the dream state which all among the non-Realized masses have been lulled into.
68. Furthermore, the questions to be asked that most persons do not know the answers to are those dealing with the beliefs of others, beliefs which they have accepted without “being alert,” without any “questioning,” without any “observation,” and without any “investigation.”
69. And what is believed in more than anything by the masses? The dogma to which most have been exposed since a very early age, including the teaching that nothing is more important than blind faith.
70. Without blind faith, the 97% who believe in God and report that they are affiliated with one religion or another would not do so, because their God has never appeared even once to the trillions who have believed in a God or gods or goddesses as a result of blind faith. No willingness to appear even once? Then blind faith must prevail.
71. If blind faith is missing, religions teach, then all else is lost.
72. Their belief is that blind faith is the key.
73. Their belief is that blind faith is the foremost guiding principle.
74. Their belief is that blind faith is the basic, elemental, central, fundamental, primary, necessary, crucial, critical, essential, indispensable, and chief requirement.
75. Their belief is that blind faith is the most important belief above all else. All hail blind faith!
76. And the masses have bought into that for thousands of years.
77. A woman from St. Louis, Missouri once said, "Floyd, millions of people cannot be wrong." The reply, “Agreed. In truth, billions and trillions have been wrong.”
78. Millions of Greeks and Romans believed in gods and goddesses and let those supposed gods and goddesses rule their lives. They even killed and died for their false gods and goddesses, but today, who believes in those gods and goddesses? No one.
79. If there is a God who wants you to play The Blind Faith Game and unquestioningly accept the claim that “He” exists and wants you to worship “Him,” then (a.) his game-playing is evidence of immaturity and silliness and pettiness as well as (b) insanity; moreover, his desire to be worshipped and adored and glorified is evidence of malignant narcissism; and (d) the fact that he would punish and torture eternally all who do not adore him and glorify him and believe in him as a result of blind fatih would be evidence that he is a total sociopath, a complete psychopath.
80. And to buy in such beliefs with blind faith and without any questioning at all – which the masses do – is evidence of their immaturity and silliness and pettiness; of their insanity; and of their own sociopathic nature if they would worship such a being (and even consider him to be a “Supreme Being).
81. If that god is willing to torture and kill all who do not glorify him and follow his orders, then he is in the company of Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, Kim Il Sung, Idi Amin, Dick Cheney, Kim Jong-un, etc.
82. And to worship and glorify those guys – or anyone like them, or any god like them – would be sociopathic and insane as well.
83. Granted, Maharaj for a time played the role of “The Super Religious One” and the role of “The Spiritual Giant, but he transitioned those roles and when that happened, his talks changed.
84. He rejected his earlier blind faith. Same here. You can do the same.
85. Afterwards, Maharaj addressed the actual root of the Ultimate Sickness: the content in the minds of programmed and conditioned humans.
86. Over 99+% of the persons on the planet are being driven to function in an unquestioning, blind-faith manner - either by their religious dogma or by their so-called "spiritual" beliefs.
87. Thus, few will ever Realize (that is, be restored to sanity and guided by wisdom rather than by ignorant and insane beliefs).
88. Most will continue to think magically, and they will believe that supernatural – spiritual – forces are determining everything that happens on the planet.
89. When asked about a Supreme Being who allows prejudice and separation and war and abuse and disease and poverty and rape and murder and misery and suffering to happen, their answer is that “He works in mysterious ways.”
90. If he is all-powerful and all-knowing and could end all of that with a snap of his fingers – but does not do so because persons do not have enough faith, that is, blind faith - then what does that say about him?
91. Some say, "He loves us enough to give us free will." The reply: "When my daughter was behaving in ways that might cause her harm - like wanting at times to play in the street - I loved her enough to stop her, not to give her free will. I had the ability to prevent her from harming herself, and I used it."
92. Moreover, what does it say about those who do not question his willing to allow prejudice and separation and war and abuse and disease and poverty and rape and murder and misery and suffering to happen; who do not disassociate from him because he could, supposedly, stop all of that but does not; and who – instead – align themselves with him and actually glorify him?
93. And what does that reveal about the actual, relative consequences of abiding under the auspices of blind faith?

24. both made the decision that whatever amount of the relative existence remains shall be spent in sharing the teachings in the way that has been seen to be the most effective method: not suggesting that there are not enough religious persons; not suggesting that the Ultimate Sickness is caused by being "spiritually-unfit"; but by seeing that the problem centers in the mind (which must come to an end, which it will the moment all beliefs are abandoned)
Looking back over the list of those that have truly received the understanding, it is seen that Robert R. read all of the books, then took the online Advaita course and then completed some face-to-face Skype sessions to receive the final clarifications required. It was seen that Mac read all of the books, completed the online course, and then attended a retreat where he was guided through the seven steps. Mac said that the online course work inspired him to attend the retreat in order to be able to receive the final "pieces." It was seen that Andy Gugar, Jr. read all of the books, then came here for a retreat and was taken through the seven steps in order, and then returned once more for the final clarifications required. After reviewing the shifts that happened with him after attending two retreats, he reaffirmed this past week his commitment to helping spread the non-duality, nisarga understanding as presented here.

Please enter the silence of contemplation.

"GOOD vs. EVIL?" or "IGNORANCE, STUPIDITY, and INSANITY?"
The
content of this eBook deals with one of the most common but erroneous
beliefs that the non-Realized masses cling to and which they will fight
about (and even kill over), namely, that there is a planet-wide duel
going on between “the forces of good and evil” in the universe.
Maharaj said of each that visited his Bombay loft, “Only that person will visit this place whose virtue and sin have come to an end.”
He also said that the problems of humankind are problems associated
with the Ultimate Sickness and that three of the key traits of the
Ultimate Sickness are "ignorance, stupidity, and insanity."
To
that end, either (1) the ancient view is spot on: that the "ills of the
planet" are rooted in evil people, in people not being religious enough
or spiritual enough, and are caused solely by bad morality; or, (2) the
"ills of the planet" are rooted in ignorance, stupidity and insanity
and "being good" or "being moral" does not put an end to ignorance, does
not eliminate stupidity, and does not treat insanity in any way.
II.
"THE VISION"
Comments regarding the free eBook entitled “THE VISION”:
“My thanks to you and Andy.” – Andrew “Mac” McMaster
“Thanks so much for the book! And, by the way, it is brilliant and the most effective pointing that you have done. It has served to help clear the remaining blockages.” – Stan Cross
“Greatly appreciate having “THE VISION” added to my Henderson resource library that is situated on the right side of my bed for easy access! Eternally grateful for what was received and what was given.” – Robert Rigby
“ ‘THE VISION’ is such a well-written, condensed version of the Nisarga Yoga approach to understanding and enjoying Reality that I feel it can serve as a must-read ‘meditation guide’ for all earnest seekers.” – Andy Gugar, Jr.

III.
While in South Africa in 2011, I was introduced to A Primate’s Memoir (2002)
by Dr. Robert Maurice Sapolsky. Sapolsky is an American
neuroendocrinologist; a professor of biology, neuroscience, and
neurosurgery at Stanford University; a researcher; an author; and a
Research Associate at the National Museums of Kenya.
A Primate’s Memoir (which documents Sapolsky’s years in Africa while studying baboons), was recommended because there is much that a non-dualist or Advaitin or Nisargan can relate to by comparing and contrasting what Sapolsky reveals about the way certain troops of baboons live in Africa with the way that humans abide all around the globe. The book also portrays an unconventional way of studying neurophysiology to determine the effects of stress on life expectancy. (And the reduction or elimination of stress among humans is one of the aims of the non-dual understanding.)
Now Sapolsky’s recent findings are offered in a documentary film entitled “Stress: Portrait of a Killer.” [The 56-minute film is available on YouTube in many countries.]
This 152-page eBook catalogues the common, non-dual message shared by Sapolsky and Maharaj and reveals the ways that Sapolsky’s scientific research supports the non-dual pointers offered by Maharaj.
In “PART ONE” it will be seen that most persons on the planet are not seeking, and most will never seek, but for those who are seeking, most will face several obstacles:
Often, many do not really know WHY they are seeking. Too, many who are asked WHAT they are seeking often offer no clear-cut answer beyond the standard talk about "Realization" or "Enlightenment." For those who have come this way and have a clear notions about why they are seeking and what they are seeking, many have not yet found anyone that has shown them exactly HOW to go about the process. The content in "Part One" offers some considerations about all three.
In “Part Two” of this book, it will be seen why many criticized Maharaj for “changing his message in his later talks.” It will be seen that the changes were not about changing the message per se as much as about changing his methodology as he experimented with one version of the Ultimate Medicine after another in order to try to find an effective means for addressing the Ultimate Sickness.
Maharaj’s loft was actually more of a laboratory in a loft in Bombay (now “Mumbai”) because he undertook in that loft many experiments in his efforts to find an effective form of the Ultimate Medicine that could treat the Ultimate Sickness effectively and successfully. In fact, he would eventually have three laboratories:
He first ran . . .
** a “Religion Laboratory,” then later
** a “Spirituality Laboratory” and eventually
** a “Psychology Laboratory.”
All three will be discussed in detail in "Part Two."

COMPARE YOUR "JOURNEY" AND SEE IF YOU'VE UNDERGONE ANY EVENTS THAT PARALLEL THOSE OF MAHARAJ AND FLOYD
COMPARE YOUR "JOURNEY" AND SEE IF YOU'VE UNDERGONE ANY EVENTS THAT PARALLEL THOSE OF MAHARAJ AND FLOYD
The "experiences" of Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj and Floyd share many parallel. Many visitors have said that they have also shared some of the same parallels. Can you relate to any of these?
1. Both grew up in very poor families
3. both exhibited business skills that led to their opening and operating many businesses and to their having a large number of employees working for them
4. both succeeded financially
5. both became attached to accumulating
6. both married and had a family
7. both initially tried to address the Ultimate Sickness with religious teachings but realized that did not work, so both tried to address the Ultimate Sickness with spirituality, only to see eventually that "being spiritual" did not cure the Ultimate Sickness either
8. both then realized that the main problems of humanity center in the mind so both turned to the sharing of psychology and scientific-and-fact-based pointers to free persons of the effects of programming, conditioning, acculturation, domestication, brainwashing and indoctrination
9. both had highly religious wives who were quite displeased with the shift away from religion
10. both had grown to feel empty in spite of all of their "spiritual seeking" and in spite of all of their accumulated "spiritual knowledge"

2. both moved to populated areas to seek employment opportunities

10. both had grown to feel empty in spite of all of their "spiritual seeking" and in spite of all of their accumulated "spiritual knowledge"
11. both began to de-accumulate after
both saw that they could survive quite well on a fraction of the income
they had been making
12. both had wives who were unhappy when the de-accumulation stage was entered and both had wives who became unhappy about their husbands' focus on non-duality and who blamed their unhappiness on no longer having a religious husband (and no longer having a husband who brought in huge sums of money)
13. both eventually came to see that the religious and spiritual states were also ego-states, and both saw that there are far more steps on the "path" to complete after reaching the religious and spiritual steps and after playing those roles which are the third of seven steps on the entire "path"
14. both "lost" their wives (one via "death," the other through divorce);
15. both accelerated their seeking
16. both entered into the "forest dweller stage"
17. both Realized
18. both began to de-accumulate even more
19. both began sharing the teachings
20. for years, both offered satsang

21. both saw that most who hear the teachings are still not going to understand
22. both, therefore, offered pointers without expectation, without attachment to outcome, and without any concern about the way that persons react to hearing Truth
23. both suggested that seekers focus on the exact, step-wise "path
22. both, therefore, offered pointers without expectation, without attachment to outcome, and without any concern about the way that persons react to hearing Truth
23. both suggested that seekers focus on the exact, step-wise "path
24. both made the decision that whatever amount of the relative existence remains shall be spent in sharing the teachings in the way that has been seen to be the most effective method: not suggesting that there are not enough religious persons; not suggesting that the Ultimate Sickness is caused by being "spiritually-unfit"; but by seeing that the problem centers in the mind (which must come to an end, which it will the moment all beliefs are abandoned)
