TODAY'S CONSIDERATIONS
[What is being quoted (in green) are the revelations that were emanating from the inner resource - that is, via the pure consciousness ... the inner guru - as the final blockages were falling away and allowing access to that which had always been known, within.]
To continue with the look at "intellect" (merely the capacity for understanding) vs. "knowledge" / "learned ignorance" in order to clarify the role of the intellect and the uselessness of knowledge.

To review: turning back to the vision, it was seen that the capacity for understanding also still remains even as the crystal cave is crossed and as the trek up the steps to the dome is taken.
Then, this came: "The capacity to understand remains as long as the final vestiges of Awareness during the manifestation remain. That Awareness was able to see all of the universes and to know that the Awareness - just one of many specialized forms of energy - was present for all of those."
Then this: "Whoa! Specialized energy. That's all consciousness is . . . all that awareness is. Just a specialized form of energy (which does not suggest that either is "special" at all but merely denotes that they function in a unique manner - as do all forms of energy). "
Then this: "At the most basic level, this scientific fact can be understood: all is energy-matter. Neither can be created. Neither can be destroyed. There's scientific proof that there's no creator! Nothing is created. Nothing have ever been created. Not 'this world / universe'; not 'planets and stars / suns'; not 'galaxies'; not a 'first man' and not a 'first woman.' Nothing has been created. "
Suddenly, this: "All is just like a human body: things coming together and thing coming apart. The ancients with their creator-sustainer-destroyer gods - which were rolled into one god by Abraham, coming up with what would amount to a schizo god . . . all fiction. And THAT'S why in the vision the raven had to come to an end, and fairly early on during 'the journey':
the body that carries about the belief that there's some spirit inside - something spiritual inside - that can develop 'a spiritual malady' - nonsense! Moreover, nothing is destroyed, and nothing has ever been destroyed."
Then a question came: "But wait a minute. What about the lines wherein Maharaj spoke about creation and destruction?"
"All through the creation and dissolution of the universe, I remain ever untouched. I have not expounded this part: my state never felt the creation and dissolution of the universe. I am the principle which survives all the creations, all the dissolutions."
"So what did he mean? He must have really meant that he - a speck of the forever-existing energy non-dualists speak of - was actually there for the coming together of every universe and the coming apart of those that have come apart. There's another piece I haven't understood until now! I'm blown away by how much this vision is revealing!"
The revelations continued:
The capacity to understand remains even at the final stages of "the journey" discussed above; thus, it was concluded: "So the capacity for understanding remains even up to that final point in the vision."
Yet was it something beyond the intellect which felt or which grasped the earlier realization? The one that . . . millions of forms . . . are . . . You!
Then this came: "That capacity for understanding must have come via the inner resource, and that can only happens fully when the Awareness is . . .
in touch with ItSelf after the consciousness is re-purified. So the Awareness knew that it was moving back, closer and closer, second by second, to that no-place place (that no-specific-but-universal-'place') from which it had first come. So even then the 'intellect' had not yet 'subsided' but was working as one with Awareness."
The vision reported: There is only the slightest vestige of any you as you draw closer and closer to . . . You. "That sounds like subsidence of the intellect is finally beginning to happen at that point."
Here, it came that Maharaj had said, "World is experiential but 'You,' the Absolute, are non-experiential.' On the other hand, 'This 'you-are' experience has come . . .. "
He coaxed his listeners to go to the borderline, because he understood that it is at the borderline between
THAT / the Absolute
and
the experiential, relative existence
where Reality is discovered.
THAT / the Absolute
and
the experiential, relative existence
where Reality is discovered.
Maharaj: "The borderline between 'i am' (beingness) and 'i am not' (non-beingness) is the precise location where the intellect subsides. It is the Mahayoga state. Be there!"
So Reality can only be known during the manifestation and only if the consciousness has been unblocked and the Awareness is aware of ItSelf.
Then, I recalled how willingly I saw "the dissolution" - Nirvana - as millions merged with the light at the dome; and I saw how willingly I stepped forward. No fear. No trepidation. Just a pervasive sense that "everything is going to be okay." And upon "returning" to the relative post-vision / post-Realization existence via the third leg of "the journey," it was that sense of fearlessness and courageousness which manifested at that point (and which has prevailed ever since)
Maharaj spoke of that sense that came to him post-Realization, a sense of fearlessness and courage that comes when one finally understands what most will never understand. It became clear that that condition manifests because there is no longer "a fear of the unknown."
Then another question came? "Why?" And the answer came on the heels of the question: "Because there is no longer 'the unknown.' The functioning of the totality is clear."
Here's the way Maharaj described it:
Here's the way Maharaj described it:
"I do not need convictions, I live on courage. Courage is my essence, which is love of life. I am free of memories and anticipations, unconcerned with what I am and what I am not. I am not addicted to self-descriptions, soham and brahmasmi ('I am He', 'I am the Supreme'); these are of no use to me, I have the courage to be as nothing and to see the world as it is: nothing. It sounds simple, but just try it!"
That's has also always been the invitation here: "Just try it!"
[Let's pause at this point to allow time to sit in the silence and review and then contemplate the pointers which came via the vision and which have been shared up to this point.]
To be continued.
Please enter into the silence of contemplation.
