TODAY'S CONSIDERATIONS
[See the offer following this post for details on how you can watch a video which includes a discussion of all seven of the steps on the path as used by Maharaj]
NEITHER THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE "No-you-ness" NOR THE "no-YOU-ness" CAN BE TRANSMITTED BY ONE WHO BELIEVES IN THE LIES OF "self-ness" AND "SELF-ness"
How might you be able to determine if your would-be guru or the author of a book you're reading or someone you're listening to on tape is truly realized?
Maharaj's evolution led to his message becoming simpler and simpler, and that included the way in which he eventually came to define "realization" when he said that "it is all so simple" and
"realization simply refers to the process which allows one to become free of the belief in learned ignorance."
Wait a minute? Not rejecting all personal identifications which deal with the relative existence, only to replace them with new identifications which are of "a higher level" and which include "A Noble Self," "An Infinite Self," "A Supreme Self," "The Godhead," "God," "The Highest Self," "The Best Self," "The Ultimate Self," "The Absolute Self," etc., etc., etc., blah and blah and blah?
No.
Consider: Everything that has ever lived on planet earth or that is living on planet earth now - with the only exception ever, namely, humans - has lived naturally meaning . . .
without a mind, without an ideology, without a religion, without doing spiritual exercises every day for an entire lifetime, without mastering a philosophy, without worshipping, without glorifying, without gathering more and more knowledge (a.k.a., "learned ignorance"), without being programmed to believe in an endless number of concepts,
without calling on external forces to guide or care for them, without total and abject dependence, without personal identifications, without Supreme Identifications, without personality defects, without personality disorders, without neuroses, and without psychoses.
Only humans do all that.
So how to know if your would-be guru or the author of a book you're reading or someone you're listening to on tape is truly realized? Here's the beginning of a checklist which can be used to start the investigative process of finding the answer to that question:
If someone believes any myth or anything based in an ancient myth, that person is not realized.
If someone believes any superstition or anything based in an ancient superstition, that person is not realized.
If someone believes in even one duality-based concept - including good vs. bad or heaven vs. hell - that person in not realized.
If someone believes that she or he is something that is "Supreme" or "Superior," that person is not realized.
If someone believes that some writings are holy and some are not, that person is not realized.
If someone believes that dressing a certain way or engaging in certain exercises can make them spiritual and can provide evidence of their having reached a higher spiritual state, that person in not realized.
If someone is attached to the content of a mind, that person in not realized.
If someone is attached to an ideology, that person in not realized.
If someone is attached to any set of dogma, that person in not realized.
If someone is attached to spiritual exercises, that person in not realized.
If someone is attached to a philosophy, that person in not realized.
If someone is attached to worshipping or glorifying another person or a Power in another world, that person in not realized.
If someone is attached to the goal to become a know-it-all, that person in not realized.
If someone is attached to someone or Someone they can be dependent on or co-dependent with, that person in not realized.
If someone is attached to assigned or assumed personal identifications, that person in not realized.
If someone is attached to personality defects and personality disorder, that person in not realized.
If someone is attached to an effort to reform and perfect "the world" and its people, that person in not realized.
If someone is attached to helping in order to be "loved," that person in not realized.
If someone is attached to performing in order to enhance her or his image, that person in not realized.
If someone is attached to escaping reality, that person in not realized.
If someone is attached to isolating in order to read self-help books and to listen to self-improvement tapes, that person in not realized.
If someone is attached to finding people or institutions or businesses to take care of them, that person in not realized.
If someone is attached to the things they are addicted to, that person in not realized.
If someone is attached to having control and power, that person in not realized.
If someone is attached to dissociating, that person in not realized.
If someone believes that a text is holy because it was written by or inspired by a Being from another world, that person in not realized.
If someone is attached to his or her neuroses and psychoses, that person in not realized.
And if someone believes that life should be about being taught more and more and learning more and rather - rather than being un-taught all and unlearning all - then that person is not realized.
Why can all of that be the case? Because all of that involves learned ignorance, and realization, per Maharaj, is only about being freed from the belief in all learned ignorance.
Here, there can be no "one" who wants anyone to believe anything that is believed here became . . . there is nothing that is believed here. That is the case when one heeds Maharaj's advice to be free of the mind and to abide in a "no-concept, zero-concept" manner which is the way that everything on the planet abides . . . except for humans.
To be continued.

Here, with those who are still driven to talk about "God," the "Son of God," the "Holy Spirit," "Buddha," "Krishna," etc., etc., etc., the invitation to them is to view those as verbs, not nouns.
THE EXPLANATION
If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.
Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of God in the past was of a weak God, an absentee God, A Santa Claus-type God, a mean, punishing, vindictive God, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring God whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to."
The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a God that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").
Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring God,' any supposed God that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'God' and that the only part
"That is, a non-narcissistic god / goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'God' and focus on the 'God as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you."
Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:
"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"
and
"Heaven and earth shall fade away."
and
"Heaven and hell are not geographic places but are states of mind, nothing more than concepts dreamed up by men"
and
"There is no hell."
