YOKO ONO, JOHN LENNON, AND THE NON-DUAL MESSAGE AS SHARED BY THEM
In the book Quotations and Pointers dealing with NON-DUALITY,ADVAITA, NISARGA YOGA and more,
The book offered examples of the message being offered in texts but also in television productions, in writings and talks by scientists, in movies, in plays, in the plots of short stories and novels, and – yes – in poems / songs and in other music and in musicals performed on stages all around the globe.
That pervasiveness notwithstanding, the message is understood by very few.
(Maharaj originally estimated that only one in one hundred thousand would ever grasp fully what he was sharing; later, he amended that “guesstimate” to one in one million; eventually, he would modify that to one in ten million. Whatever the numbers might actually be, the odds are miniscule that there will ever be many humans walking about on the surface of planet earth at any given moment that are “realized,” meaning, per Maharaj, free of the belief in the learned ignorance which humans are taught. Yet the message continues to manifest and to be offered spontaneously anyway by the few that are realized. Among those few were Oko and Lennon, and their messaging continues to be shared globally to this day.)
In terms of pervasiveness, consider how frequently certain symbols or vehicles of non-duality appear:
The so-called “holy” texts of Jews and Christians include a phrase which is identified here as “the summative statement of non-duality,” namely, “I AM THAT; I AM.”
[The writer of some of the early parts of those tests has been identified as “Moses” although there was no Moses at all. His story is as fictional as the accounts credited to him. Moreover, he heard the phrase above because there was already trade going on between those in the Far Eat and in the Middle East. The rub? By hearing it but not reading it, the writer tells a tale about a burning bush identifying itself as “I AM THAT I AM.” With omission of a single semi-colon, the Eastern meaning was lost and the passage joins a few others in those “holy texts” which are ignored because the typical readers of those texts haven’t a clue about what the phrase actually means.]

There is also the symbolic leaf of non-duality: the olive branch:

There is as well
a flower used to represent the non-dual message: the white poppy
Along with those, there is a sign of non-duality: the peace sign
And then there is what some “non-dualists” take to be the “anthem” of non-duality: the lyrics of “Imagine” (with this being the original cover)
In 2011, the magazine Rolling Stone named “Imagine” the third-greatest song of all time, but their article included what has been revealed to be a total fabrication.
It wrote, “John Lennon wrote 'Imagine,' his greatest musical gift to the world, one morning early in 1971 in his bedroom. His wife, Yoko Ono, watched as Lennon sat at the white grand piano . . . and virtually completed the song.”
That story changed at a more recent National Music Publishers Association event in New York City. The association honored “Imagine” with its song of the century award, but its chief executive, David Israelite, also made a surprise announcement. He said Ono would officially receive credit as a co-writer of “Imagine.” Israelite said the decision was made based on Lennon’s wishes.
John Lennon confessed in a 1980 interview with the BBC that Ono played a role in writing the song. (That, too, was an understatement.) He said it “should be credited as a Lennon-Ono song, because a lot of it, the lyrics and the concept, came from Yoko.” Lennon also said that some of the ideas of “Imagine” came from Ono’s book “Grapefruit,” and that not including her as a writer was “selfish” on his part.
Today, we understand that most of the song came from Yoko and the Eastern teachings which she has shared with John from early on in the relationship.
So let’s review those lyrics:

It was there at Lennon's home studio in May 1971 that the song was honed into its near-final shape with final overdubs taking place at the Record Plant in New York City, during July.
