F.: For thousands of years, the Greeks and Romans believed with total faith that a god (or gods) existed in some other realm and controlled all things on earth. So thoroughly were they convinced by priests that those gods were real that they built temple-after-temple for worship, they sacrificed valuables to please the gods, they begged the gods to bless them, they pleaded with the gods to give them things desired or to spare them from things not wanted, they believed all misfortune or acts of nature were punishments handed down from the displeased gods, and they attacked or killed critics who suggested that their gods were nothing more than concepts dreamed up by men. Priests, along with politicians and military men, were the most influential persons in their communities, but eventually, the masses of that day came to see that the critics were right and that the gods were just mythological concepts.

Today, tourists walk through the remains of the Pantheon temple in Rome and the ruins of the Parthenon temple in Greece. Now, no belief in any of those gods remains, none of the priests who moved masses to believe in their concepts now hold power or influence, and no congregations gather regularly to worship those gods. Over the centuries, the people became aware…aware of the fact that all the stories were all made up by men inspired not by celestial beings but by their desire to have power over the masses and to control them. Seeing the truth, they were no longer being fooled. Since they were no longer fools, the institutions that had fooled them crumbled. The cycles of being fooled and being enlightened happen over and over among humanity. One day, if more and more persons here become enlightened and no longer fooled, then tourists may walk through the ruins of the churches and temples and mosques that are now deemed holy and that hold such power over the masses that persons die daily as a result of the emotional intoxication generated by their beliefs. More likely, businessmen will develop new projects on the properties. Someday, children who understand scientific facts will marvel that so many persons in the year 2006 believed that hurricanes were used by an angry god to punish people and that the forces of favored people were used by a vengeful god to wipe out people of other religions.

As in ancient Rome and Greece, certain people are awakening to the fact that they have been fools, fooled by those who have sought positions of authority and influence and are telling them once again the olden stories about power sources that are based in Roman and Greeks myths and the pagan religions before them that provided the stories originally. Read a story that was well-known for 500 years before Moses in which a god freed his enslaved people, led them through a desert, used a magical staff to make water pour out of stones, and then led them to a land of “milk, honey, and wine.” Read the stories that were told hundreds of years before Moses about great floods that killed all but one family. Read about the fact that the term “I AM THAT I AM” had been discussed for thousands of years before Moses claimed to have been the first to hear those words from a bush on fire. Read about the religions that were founded to worship saviors that were born of virgins (22 of them before Christ.) And then have an epiphany. Hear Your Self say it to your self: “Oh my gosh! And I thought all that was so unique, so different, so holy, so inspired! I had no idea it was all plagiarized!” To stop being fooled requires that persons be free of the influence of those talking about ancient Greek and Roman and pagan gods that were later combined by Abraham into one entity. Here’s the way that Kirk explained how he got free of being fooled in The Twice-Stolen Necklace Murders:

The breakthrough to Realization, to happiness, to sanity and to living spontaneously from a position of neutrality came with the dissolving of two concepts in particular: (1) the concept of the infinite existence of this physical body; and, (2) the belief in a 13.5 billion year old male-god who practices simultaneously (a) “unconditional” love while (b) being willing to burn and torture his children for eternity. Those allowed for shifting beyond all my efforts to try to live in the realm of the spirit with its three ulterior motives (to receive benefits now, to receive future rewards, and to avoid future punishment.) That shift allowed for fixation instead in the Great Reality, NOW.

Freedom from concepts prevents being a fool. The nations that originally dreamed up the ancient myths and superstitions no longer believe in the tales of their own ancestors, yet billions worldwide still buy into the modernized versions of their stories and are thereby fooled. Rather than seeking more power, might you suffer less if you took away the power that persons are exerting over you in order to fool you and control you and make you dependent on things dreamed up by ignorant men who lived thousands of years ago? Being a fool ends when enlightenment breaks a person’s attachment to foolish ideas. Real freedom begins when beliefs about foolish myths and man-made concepts come to an end. Real freedom happens only when all dependencies end. Please enter the silence of contemplation.

Five Free eBooks

Compliments of Andy Gugar, Jr.,
the following eBooks are available without charge for you or for friends:

I.
"GOOD vs. EVIL?" or "IGNORANCE, STUPIDITY, and INSANITY?"

The content of this eBook deals with one of the most common but erroneous beliefs that the non-Realized masses cling to and which they will fight about (and even kill over), namely, that there is a planet-wide duel going on between “the forces of good and evil” in the universe.

Either (1) the ancient view is spot on: that the "ills of the planet" are rooted in evil people, in people not being religious enough or spiritual enough, and are caused solely by bad morality; or, (2) the "ills of the planet" are rooted in ignorance, stupidity and insanity and "being good" or "being moral" does not put an end to ignorance, does not eliminate stupidity, and does not treat insanity in any way.

II.
"THE VISION"

Comments regarding the free eBook entitled “THE VISION”:

“My thanks to you and Andy.” – Andrew “Mac” McMaster

“Thanks so much for the book! And, by the way, it is brilliant and the most effective pointing that you have done. It has served to help clear the remaining blockages.” – Stan Cross

“Greatly appreciate having “THE VISION” added to my Henderson resource library that is situated on the right side of my bed for easy access! Eternally grateful for what was received and what was given.” – Robert Rigby

“‘THE VISION’ is such a well-written, condensed version of the Nisarga Yoga approach to understanding and enjoying Reality that I feel it can serve as a must-read ‘meditation guide’ for all earnest seekers.” – Andy Gugar, Jr.

III.
"Sapolsky, Maharaj, and the Non-Dual Teachings"

Dr. Robert Maurice Sapolsky is an American neuroendocrinologist; a professor of biology, neuroscience, and neurosurgery at Stanford University; a researcher; an author; and a Research Associate at the National Museums of Kenya.

There is much that a non-dualist or Advaitin or Nisargan can relate to by comparing and contrasting what Sapolsky reveals about the way certain troops of baboons live in Africa with the way that humans abide all around the globe.

This 152-page eBook catalogues the common, non-dual message shared by Sapolsky and Maharaj and reveals the ways that Sapolsky’s scientific research supports the non-dual pointers offered by Maharaj.

IV.
Seeking

In “PART ONE” it will be seen that most persons on the planet are not seeking, and most will never seek, but for those who are seeking, most will face several obstacles:

In “PART TWO” of this book, it will be seen why many criticized Maharaj for “changing his message in his later talks.” It will be seen that the changes were not about changing the message per se as much as about changing his methodology as he experimented with one version of the Ultimate Medicine after another in order to try to find an effective means for addressing the Ultimate Sickness.

He tried a religious version of the Medicine, a Spiritual version of the Medicine, and finally settled on a version which addressed to Sickness at its core . . . at the mental and emotional level.

V.
"THE MOST DANGEROUS BELIEF OF ALL"

“Dangerous” is a term that can only apply during the relative existence, but of those who do commit suicide, for example, how many shoot themselves in the foot over and over until they “bleed out”? None. They shoot themselves in the head. Why? In order to try to stop the noise - to try to stop the chatter of a thousand monkeys – to stop the noisy mind which is the area that stores the ideas, notions, concepts, mind-stuff, etc. which drives them into the depths of insanity.

And what are those ideas, notions, concepts, etc. called, collectively? "Their beliefs." The irony? They are not their beliefs at all. They are the beliefs of “others” that were set in place via programming, conditioning, etc. and which persons then think are their own.

And what are those beliefs rooted in, and what reinforces those beliefs and convinces persons that they are sacred and worth fighting over and even sometimes worth dying for? Blind faith.

This 337-page eBook discusses those issues in detail.
