Today's Considerations

Children arrive with a variety of levels of intelligence; some others arrive with brain damage; but most arrive with a normal, healthy brain.

More significantly, none arrive with an attachment to duality. None arrive with a warped perspective. None arrive with even a single belief. That is, not one child arrives with any notion, misperception, delusion, distortion, concept, idea, thought, perception, perspective, theory, hypothesis, design, scheme, image, opinion, inkling, objective or goal, purpose, aim, or intention (a.k.a., “beliefs”).

They do arrive with an inner resource, an inner guru, which can be called the universal consciousness or conscious-energy. That would serve them well were it not for the fact that those adults who exert the greatest influence on them will, from very early on, block their children’s access to that inner guru or inner resource and to the unadulterated consciousness.

Maharaj said that the manifested consciousness, this I AM-ness, is soon adulterated in all humans.

(The word “adulterated” means “to render something poorer in quality by adding another substance, typically an inferior one." What is added to the unadulterated awareness which is prior to consciousness and which – if pulled into a cycle of manifestation – will manifest as unadulterated consciousness which will, in turn, soon be adulterated by the additions which adults will add?

Again, notions, misperceptions, delusions, distortions, concepts, ideas, thoughts, perceptions, perspectives, theories, hypotheses, designs, schemes, images, opinions, inklings, objectives or goals, purposes, aims, intention, all based in duality and all of which can be summarized as "one’s beliefs.” The irony? There is no such thing as “one’s beliefs” or “your beliefs.” There are only “their beliefs” which were dreamed up - in many cases - thousands of years ago by really ignorant and / or manipulative humans and then passed down from one generation to the next. And because their beliefs were rooted in ignorance, then the beliefs among the masses nowadays are guaranteed to be rooted in ignorance as well.

That is the way that the Ultimate Sickness comes into being and is passed down to everyone. Note that the word "adulterated," which means "degraded, debased, spoiled, tainted, and contaminated," points to the fact that it is adults who add contaminates such as ignorance and insanity by their use of ignorant and insane programming and conditioning and domestication and acculturation and brainwashing and indoctrination.

The result is that the originally unadulterated conscious-energy is soon degraded, debased, spoiled, tainted, and contaminated by way of the additions taught by adults. Another way of looking at is that adults added contaminates (concepts, ideas, etc., that is, beliefs) which block off conscious contact with the universal, unadulterated consciousness. When that happens, only a warped perspective can result, and a warped perspective will degrade, debase, spoil, taint, and contaminate an entire relative existence.)

Maharaj: “Consciousness is pure in the beginning and pure in the end; in between it gets contaminated.” That is, it is pure in the beginning because it is the manifested form of what was unadulterated awareness. It will be pure in the end because it will return to its pre-manifestation form of unadulterated awareness, that is, awareness which has no ability to be aware of unless manifested and unblocked and uncontaminated. So much for the notion that there will be "one" post-manifestation who can be aware of anything or anyone else post-manifestation, including other persons, gods and / or gods and goddesses, including being judged after death, including life after death, including rebirth after death, including punishment after death, including reward after death, etc.)

Now the ego loves to believe that one or both parents were magnificent, resulting in some “you” that is also equally magnificent. Yet the parents – or the one who assumed that role in a child's life – are the ones who adulterated the conscious-energy which originally manifested as one component of a three-component composite unity (that composite being an elemental plant food body with air circulating in and out and with conscious-energy circulating in and out and which has been mistaken for “you”).

There is no magnificence involved with persons who – via a lust-driven act of friction – triggered another cycling of plant food elements which came together, manifested, and formed a space called “a child”; which cycles air and energy through that space for a period of time; and which will eventually unmanifest. And while there is nothing magnificent or noble about parents or what they did, there is also (in the realm of non-duality) nothing that should be considered "unmagnificent" or ignoble, either.

It is just what happens among life forms that are driven by the desire of the manifested consciousness for continuity.

Next, what is the lingering result when the unadulterated awareness, manifested as unadulterated consciousness, becomes adulterated, bastardized, and blocked?

For many, the result is fear.

For many, the result is a preoccupation with the bogus concept of "death."

For many, the result is a preoccupation with things lofty and noble or supernatural or spiritual.

For many, the result is a desire to reform.

For many, the result is constantly maneuvering to try to get as many as possible to love them.

For many, the result is constantly manipulating to try to get as many as possible to admire them.

For many, the result is a desire is to be taken care of by some person or persons or institution.

For many, the result is a desire to control.

For many, the result is a desire to avoid being bothered by anything or anyone.

For many, the result is an attachment to nonsense.

And for many, the result is an attachment to life-long seeking.

But only for a few is there an inclination to find all of the nonsense that has been unquestioningly accepted as fact and truth and to find total freedom from false, hand-me-down, nonsensical, dualistic beliefs; an inclination to be free of all phoniness and image-making and image-maintenance and to be totally authentic instead; and an inclination to replace all ignorance with wisdom.

Maharaj: “Devotion to the goal of freedom will make you abandon all theories and systems and live by wisdom, intelligence and active love.”

Only a few will accept Maharaj’s invitation to “Learn to look without imagination, to listen without distortion: that is all” and to “realise that every mode of perception is subjective, that what is seen or heard, touched or smelt, felt or thought, expected or imagined, is in the mind and not in reality, and you will experience peace and freedom from fear.”

Beyond that peace and freedom from fear and freedom from chaos and freedom from instability for the remainder of the manifestation, expect no post-manifestation “benefits” from understanding or realizing. Maharaj said: “Truth gives no advantage. It gives you no higher status, no power over others; all you get is truth and the freedom from the false.”

Yet few trapped in the web of accumulating – including the nonsense accumulated as a result of nonsensical programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, indoctrination and brainwashing – will ever care in the least about being free from the false.

Most persons have no desire for total freedom. Most prefer their dependencies and co-dependencies, "making lemonade out of a lemon" by disguising their dependency and co-dependency as “love.”

If “True Love” is there, fine, but Maharaj said, “To act from desire and fear is bondage; to act from [True] Love is freedom.” He could have added, “To act from false love with its hidden, desire-based agendas is also bondage.” Ask the person who is selling herself or himself for rent and food or a "more elevated lifestyle." Such persons might be free of having to get up each morning and go to work, but that is where their freedom ends.

As long as they can maintain their ability to spin the truth, they can play the dependency game. Should even a spark of truth and authenticity flash across the screen of consciousness, they might get a glimpse of the self-indulgent dependency games they have been playing all their lives and they might see that what was mistakenly assumed to be freedom has been the exact opposite all along.

Thus Maharaj said: “Pure sattva (harmony) is perfect freedom from sloth and restlessness.”

The beauty of the non-dual message is this: you did not ask adults to take the previously-unadulterated consciousness and adulterate it. They did not plan to do that, either. Yet on a planet where the masses are driven by their monkey-see, monkey do mindset, that is exactly what they did.

It need not continue to be the result for another second if you undertake the “journey” to freedom from the effects of the Ultimate Sickness, including the ignorance and insanity. You did not ask for that disease and you did not ask for those symptoms, but they always come.

You do have to ask for the Ultimate Medicine and you do have to be certain that you are seeking if from one who actually has it.  Should you receive that Medicine, you will be freed, period. Best regards to that end.

To be continued.

Please enter into the silence of contemplation.
