In an earlier post, this was offered for consideration:
The mind and assigned or assumed personalities are like conjoined twins, so that condition can bring unspeakable relative horrors as when human twins are conjoined or when a mind exists and is conjoined with personality identifications.
Conjoined twins are identical twins joined in utero. Approximately half are stillborn, and a smaller fraction of pairs which do survive for a time have abnormalities which are incompatible with life. To the non-dualist, they are a literal token - an observable symbol of duality - and both types of conjoining (relatively speaking) are handicapping and disabling conditions.
In the U.S., approximately 4.5% of all children will have fairly serious defects; more common are an assortment of sometimes-less-severe or even minor defects. Most physical bodies arrive in fairly normal condition, but that is only about the body.
The greater defects will be added as hearsay is shared and minds begin to form. The resulting defect or illness – the Ultimate Sickness – begins to take hold as a result of environmental influences and parental influences and cultural influences which all join forces to warp the minds of offspring and to begin filling those minds with an assortment of assigned, false personal identities.
As a result, all persons will eventually suffer from the Sickness which is as debilitating as being conjoined with a twin because that is the case with the mind / personality phenomenon. Consider:
Body-mind-personality identification is key to misunderstanding. It is defective to identity with the body only, yet at least the body is natural, rooted as it is the elements. The consciousness is rooted in the Absolute field, a field of energy which has no awareness of, or consciousness of, anything; which can be pulled into a cycling process and can then manifest within a space; which can – once manifested – be conscious of; and (if “Realized”) can be aware of as well.
The mind and the personality, by contract, are not natural. They are most unnatural, especially when supposedly-supernatural elements (concepts) are added to the mix and stored in the mind as identities / personalities / personas / roles / stage characters, etc.
Once the mind and personal identifications are conjoined, then one becomes exactly like conjoined twins in that the result of the conjoined mind-personality-identifications complex is this: persons will also suffer from “abnormalities which are incompatible with life.”
Suicide rates have soared. Self-destructive tendencies have soared. Self-defeating behaviors have soared, and all behaviors result from this continuum: thoughts to words to deeds. Perverted thoughts / beliefs eventually = perverted behaviors.
Being driven by the hidden, subconscious agendas of 80-100 false identities eventually = dual-mindedness, instability, chaos, and self-destructive behaviors.
Being driven by warped programming and conditioning and acculturation and domestication and brainwashing and indoctrination can only lead to warped thoughts and words and actions. And what is the blockage which prevents seeing that is one's condition and admitting it and addressing it? Ego and egotism, as exemplified in such comments as “Go to hell, Floyd. My parents did one heckuva job raising us.”
For the few that hang around long enough, continuing with the process offered here long enough for some lights to begin to come on, then there is the chance that – instead of seeing the perceived snake is just a rope – they might just see that the perceived supposedly-heckuva-good-rope is actually . . . a snake. Why the reluctance? The thought is, “If one of my parents was totally screwed, then I’m at least half screwed. If both of my parents were screwed up in the way they raised me, I’m totally screwed. And worst of all, that might mean that I’ve been totally screwed as a parent, but I know that's a lie because I am a 'Super Parent'.”
So would admitting the truth also have to call for resenting? Of course not. It calls for objectivity and for questioning all which has been accepted on blind faith and which has been denied because of egotism and which is now calling for this: accepting the facts of one’s condition and understanding how one came into that condition.
Therefore, the reply to those who ask if the recommendation here is to resent your forebears who passed down generations of accumulated ignorance and insanity is this: “You need not address the fact that they are / were screwed. It was done to them by their parents. Now, it is only time to find out exactly everything that is bogus which was handed down to you and for you to participate in un-screwing yourself by being willing to be un-taught and by un-learning all the ignorance that was taught. Welcome to “The Un-Teaching, Un-Learning Site.”
The next question is, "So are you ready to abandon the false and accept the Truth, the facts surrounding your condition?" The honest answer to that question will be key because in order to begin the journey toward being restored to sanity, this is the fundamental fact: the readiness is all.
That involves the readiness to set aside all beliefs . . . to set aside all that you have been told . . . to set aside egotism and . . . to see that (mental and personality) defects are present while acknowledging that they can be addressed.
The option? Continuing to suffer the misery of unspeakable relative horrors like those which exist when human twins are conjoined or like those which exist when a mind is conjoined with personality identifications (or even with some “Supreme” identity).
Maharaj noted that, "when compared with the spiritual giants who sometimes come this way, I am a spiritual pygmy."
Similarly, what is given no significant at all here is anything deemed to be either supreme or Supreme. Apologies of a sort to your identities or Your New Identity, but the view here is . . . "not impressed."
The question for those in that mental state is, “WHO (what false ego-state) is impressed in your / 'Your' case?"
Maharaj: “I have no identity (Identity) at all.”
And that worked just fine then and it will work just fine now.

THE EXPLANATION
If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.
Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of God in the past was of a weak God, an absentee God, A Santa Claus-type God, a mean, punishing, vindictive God, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring God whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to."
The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a God that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").
Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring God,' any supposed God that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'God' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part.
"That is, a non-narcissistic god / goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'God' and focus on the 'God as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you."
Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:
"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"
