ENTERING INTO "THE CHILD IGNORANCE STAGE" OR "THE CHILD NO-KNOWING STATE"

That Which You Are and Have Always Been
Maharaj eventually stop recommending
the seven-step Self-Enquiry process he recommended for years to those seeking to find “The True Self” / “The Real Self” / “The Supreme Self” etc.
and in the end
endorsed a four-step self-enquiry – that is, a “false-self-inquiry” – explaining that it is enough to find “who you are not” as opposed to “Who You (Supposedly) Are.”
For those who find that they are none of the “bad roles” they played and none of the “good” roles they have played and none of the “special or Special” roles they have assumed, questions can still remain:
“Well, I presently AM, so what at the very least is “this” which I presently am?” The answer offered here is this:
Stop at the I AM alone, but for a period you still need something to follow those two words, try this:
There is no who-ness or WHO-ness. There can be a presently-and-temporarily-manifested “that” or “what,” but no personal who / Who.
To explain:
Prior to manifestation, "that which you were and are and have always been" is a form of unmanifested energy that is not aware of anything but that can manifest temporarily as conscious-energy and can be conscious-of.
If manifested temporarily as a space with conscious-energy circulating through it, then you can be accurately conscious of the fact that the phenomenal "you" can be referred to for the sake of disucssion as "a composite unity" of the energy that can know you are a temporary composite unity that is manifested as an elemental plant food body that is circulating air and conscious-energy;
or, if manifested temporarily but in a state in which conscious-energy has been blocked from perceiving accurately, then you can inaccurately assume that you are the many roles or ego-states that have been dreamed up by persons over the millennia.
It does not matter how many millions or trillions of non-realized persons have accepted the second scenario above as "truth." That does not make it so. It makes it not so, in fact, because the non-realized masses have no ability to differentiate true from false; thus, it should be a given that anything taken to be "a widely-held truth" or so-called "conventional wisdom" is actually false.
Contrary to what the masses believe and teach, you cannot become anything other than "that which you are and have always been," namely, either awareness-energy that is aware of nothing or that same energy (called "consciousness" or conscious-energy if temporarily-manifested) which can be conscious of and aware of (if realized), at least for a temporary period.
What you are temporarily is that only, and you cannot become anything other than that. Additionally, contrary to the beliefs that are popular among the masses, you cannot become better (that is, you cannot become "better energy"); contrary to the 97% on the planet who claim to be "religious," you cannot become religious (that is, you cannot become "religious energy");
and contrary to the millions on the planet who arrogantly claim that they are not religious but are something different from and better than the religious (namely, that they are "spiritual"), that too is impossible. Neither awareness-energy nor conscious-energy can be transformed into "spiritual-energy."
Moreover, there is no such thing as "un-spiritual awareness-energy" or "spiritual awareness-energy"; there is no such thing as "un-spiritual conscious-energy" or "spiritual conscious-energy." Energy is energy . . . nothing less and nothing more. You cannot become anything else, so . . .
it is also impossible to become "a man or woman," to become "a spouse," to become "a boss" or "an employee," to become "a teacher" or "a guru"; it is impossible to become "a Jew" or "a Muslim" or "a Hindu" or "a Christian"; it is impossible to be “a black,” “a white” “a Hispanic,” etc.; it is impossible to live in or on “holy land”;
it is impossible to become "an American" or "an Indian" or "a South African"; it is impossible for elements or air or conscious-energy to be “straight” or “gay” or “trans” or to become anything else in addition to a simple speck of energy circulating into and out of an elemental plant food body.
[Consider the U.S. nowadays where dualistic beliefs and thoughts and words and actions prevail at the highest level of the government. What are the president and his staff members discussing?
Jews and why those in the U.S. should show dual loyalty to both the U.S. and Israel; and
Jews and non-Jews and why non-Jews should not show dual loyalty to the U.S. and any other country, such as Palestine; and
the notion that the Neo-Nazis attacking Jews in Charlottesville, VA. in 2017 who killed one and injured many supposedly “had some “good people” among them; and
the increase in anti-Jewish attacks and the increase in attacks on synagogues and mosques and the increase during the last three years of hate crimes across the U.S.; and
who can go visit “the holy land” and who cannot; and
why Muslims cannot swim in the U.S. and are kicked off public beaches if they are wearing modest bathing suits even though some other women are being kicked off the beaches for wearing suits that show too much of their bodies; and
some now calling the president “The King of Israel” and him calling himself “The Chosen One” as he looked “heavenward” and “The Second Coming of God" [sic];
(talk about assuming some “really good” and “really Special” roles!);
and
why “trans” must be stripped of their jobs and their freedom (and, yes, even their lives); and
why relations must be broken with Denmark because they are refusing to allow the president to buy another country (namely, “Greenland”); and
why the U.S. should be a “Christian nation” and why “Christianity should be declared the state religion” and should be “the only acceptable religion;” and
why whites are the superior race and all others should go back where they came from; and
why the president is threatening to release captured ISIS fighters on Europe.]
And what is the prerequisite for such talk to dominate the airwaves? Duality-based thinking and beliefs.
The ignorance and insanity of duality brings with it belief in divisions and a sense of separation and “different-from-ment” and “better-than-ment,” then judging, fighting, attacks, intra-national wars and international wars.
Were there no preference for differentiation among the non-realized (that is, among those trapped in learned ignorance) and if there were no belief that being “different from” makes one “better than others,” then no such talk could be happening in the U.S. or anywhere else.]
Accept or assume all the labels and titles you want, but no amount of assigning or assuming will actually make you that.
Billions of persons can say that H2O is - "sleet," "ice," "snow," "rain," "a river", "a lake," "a waterfall," etc. - but the assignment of those labels and titles does not make it so. H2O is merely H2O, no matter how many persons tell you otherwise.
The same applies with all of the labels and titles and roles and ego-states and identities assigned by non-realized persons to other non-realized persons and to all of the labels and titles and roles and ego-states and identities assumed by non-Realized persons as actual, but nevertheless false, identities.
Again, contrary to what the masses believe and teach, you cannot become anything; you can never be anything different from or more than or less than "that which you are and have always been." Yet what a toll it takes upon the relative existence when persons do not understand that.
It was seen earlier that if persons are assuming false roles / ego-states as actual identities because they are not abiding as a child in the No-Knowing Child Stage, then they will use ego-defense mechanisms which will separate them from reality and leave them devoid of clear seeing and accurate perception.
And nothing can generate as much misery and suffering as being out of touch with reality and having no ability to perceive accurately but being driven instead by subconscious, psychological forces that inspire totally insane and completely delusional thoughts and words and deeds, relatively speaking.
Who, other than the insane, would find it acceptable to be driven by forces that they are not aware of, even as they think they are making conscious choices? How miserable an existence it is to be driven by ego-defense mechanisms; and how miserable an existence it is to share a relative existence with persons who are being driven by ego-defense mechanisms.
What are those persons like? What are they being driven by? They are being driven by egotism and narcissism and self-centeredness and selfishness and self-absorption and insensitivity and sociopathic and psychopathic, pathological behavior; by rationalization and putting a "spin" on events and distorting reality; by knowledge-gathering and showing off intelligence (which has nothing to do with wisdom and which reinforces egotism and which can drive persons to distance themselves from feeling anything).
They are being driven by denial, by a refusal to accept reality or facts, and by displacement so that persons around them are exposed to their displaced anger and wrath. They are being driven by dissociation, inspiring them to assume representations of self and to avoid facing reality; they are practicing projection, constantly trying to cast onto others their own personality defects.
They are driven by regression, behaving not in a childlike manner but in a childish manner, behaving impulsively; furthermore, they are driven by repression, blocking out their own feelings and blocking out the feelings of others. They are being driven by over-compensation, trying to compensate for their weaknesses rather than taking the steps required to be free of those weaknesses and then abiding naturally.
They practice manipulation and are overly-assertive and overly-aggressive toward their own bodies and toward others, and they practice sublimation rather than facing reality as a result of being out of touch with reality. And they are forever upgrading and downgrading, forever idealizing and later bashing, forever trapped in instability, forever addicted to chaos, forever trapped in thoughts and words and deeds that are of the same type that are often exhibited by those suffering the Borderline Personality Disorder.

THE EXPLANATION
If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.
Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of god in the past was of a weak god, an absentee god, A Santa Claus-type god, a mean, punishing, vindictive god, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring god whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to."
The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a god that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").
Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring god,' any supposed god that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'god' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part.
"That is, a non-narcissistic their god / their goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'god' and focus on the 'god as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you."
Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:
"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"

and
"Heaven and hell are not geographic places
but are states of mind, nothing more than
concepts dreamed up by men."

in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari,
a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record
teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium.
[That said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional courage required to question the very existence of their institution in light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of billions of their members past and present.
And that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will they? Not likely. Why?
Because what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the international crime families which hold sway over the masses as criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major international crime families and which are the most influential and have the largest memberships?
The Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion followers) whose Vatican Bank worked for decades with the Mafia while laundering mob earnings (for a 15% all-profit charge by the Bank); Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers) like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)
With all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business, politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the driving forces at play.
The masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
