It's time for a break to re-focus. Whether seekers are (1) monomaniacs (as obsessive seekers often are) or (2) scattered, go-do-zoomers who race about and engage in as many "self-improvement" activities offered in as many "self-improvement places" as possible, re-focusing is often called for more than those in either group ever realize.

If studying something in the distance by the use of binoculars, for example, there can come a point when one needs to lower the binoculars, rest the eyes or exercise them with a few squints, and then return to looking through the binoculars.

The same applies when seeking: sometimes focus can be lost through excessive pursuit. Often, new methods of seeking can lead persons astray as they become bored with "the old way" or become attracted by the shiny concepts being waved about by "the Big Name Teachers" (as Maharaj called them while warning seekers to stay away from those types).

Thus a break to refocus on the actual task at hand.

Maharaj explained the sole task of the one that would provide a version of the Ultimate Medicine which may well treat the Ultimate Sickness, namely, to free persons of the effects of the three key symptoms of the Sickness which he identified as "ignorance, stupidity, and insanity."

[NOTE: He did not say that he was about the business of dealing with "ignorant, stupid and insane persons." He make clear that persons - with their supposedly personal traits and identities - are all illusions, and illusions cannot be ignorant, stupid and insane. So what can be ignorant, stupid and insane? The beliefs which "persons" have been taught by "other persons" via the use of ignorant, stupid and insane programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, brainwashing, and indoctrination. 

Instead, he made clear that the role of the one sharing non-dual pointers is to eliminate all learned ignorance and all taught stupidity and all of the resultant insanity handed down by persons exposed to ignorant, stupid and insane programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, brainwashing, and indoctrination; 

thus, non-dual pointers are merely tools which are used in an effort to separate persons from their belief in all of the learned ignorance which has come via repeated and long-term exposure to ignorant, stupid and insane programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, brainwashing, and indoctrination.]

Each year following the winter months as the temperature becomes warm enough for wood stain to dry thoroughly, a man named Julio comes over to repair the large wooden deck across the rear of the house. We begin by testing all of the boards by applying some foot pressure to each to determine which are becoming weak or even rotting after months of exposure to the winter rains.

Once identified, Julio uses his pry bar

 

and crowbar and nail puller to separate each of the flawed boards from the substructure to which they are attached. It would be impossible to try to simply free one thing from another when they have been so firmly joined and will resist completely any minor effort to separate them.

The same is true with the human mind and the beliefs and the ignorant and stupid and insane programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, brainwashing, and indoctrination which are stored therein. The mind becomes attached to all of that and no minor effort can possibly separate them. A special tool is required to assist in that task.

And that is all this is about. Maharaj said that "realization is simply the state which comes when one's mind has been freed of its attachment to learned ignorance."

One website describes the pry bars, crowbars, and nail pullers which it sells as "the greatest demolition tools ever."

With humans, what needs demolition? The human mind because it is the seat of all ignorant and stupid and insane thoughts which inspire ignorant and stupid and insane words which are always followed by ignorant and stupid and insane actions.

Those being driven by the Ultimate Sickness's symptoms of ignorance and stupidity and insanity perpetually normalize and / or minimize and / or deny and / or ignore their Sickness and the relative destruction and misery and suffering which accompany the duality-based Sickness.

By contrast, it is only those moving toward wisdom and sanity that at least get a slight glimpse of their Sickness and its consequences and acknowledge its effects and thereafter consciously choose to seek and find and then maintain a state of wellness.

But that state can only be reached if a seeker of such wellness . . .

(a) allows one that has reached a state of freedom from ignorance and stupidity and insanity to use the tools which she or he have collected along the way

and if that seeker of such wellness

(b) allows the freed one to use the proper tools required to pry loose the ignorant and stupid and insane beliefs which the human mind becomes so attached to

and if that seeker of such wellness then

(c) allows the one now free of learned ignorance to use the tools known as "non-dual pointers" to pry apart (1) the ignorant and stupid and insane beliefs from (2) the mind which is presently preventing the seeker from reaching a state of "realization" (that is, "a state of being freed from learned ignorance and the attachment to stupid and insane beliefs and thereby allow wisdom and sanity to manifest").

Using properly the non-dual pointers which are similar to a pry bar, crowbar, and nail puller (in that all four are effective tools to use for demolition), then ignorance and nonsense can be demolished and then allow for the brain - which can function in a wise and sane manner - to be restored.

Any seeker wanting to reach some state other than the one as defined above by Maharaj will never, ever function under the auspices of wisdom and sanity.

To begin the process of warped-mind-demolition, first see the lies believed in order to discard those and then see the truth afterwards and then you will be able to differentiate between the not-real and the real for the remainder of the manifestation.

THE EXPLANATION

If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.

Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of god in the past was of a weak god, an absentee god, A Santa Claus-type god, a mean, punishing, vindictive god, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring god whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to."

The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a god that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").

Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring god,' any supposed god that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'god' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part.

"That is, a non-narcissistic their god / their goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'god' and focus on the 'god as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you." 

Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:

"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"

"Heaven and earth shall fade away."

--Yeshu'a (Jesus)

and 

"Heaven and hell are not geographic places

but are states of mind, nothing more than

concepts dreamed up by men."

--Pope John Paul II 

"There is no hell."

--Pope Francis, the current pope

in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari,

a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record

teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium. 

[That said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional courage required to question the very existence of their institution in light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of billions of their members past and present.

And that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will they? Not likely. Why?

Because what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the international crime families which hold sway over the masses as criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major international crime families and which are the most influential and have the largest memberships?

The Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion followers) whose Vatican Bank worked for decades with the Mafia while laundering mob earnings (for a 15% all-profit charge by the Bank); Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers) like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)

With all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business, politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the driving forces at play.

The masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
