A NOTE TO VISITORS ON A TOPICAL, RELATIVE ISSUE:
People around the globe today are focusing once more on the U.S. as it is exposed for the illusion that it is, that illusion revealed most recently through the actions of a mob inspired by a would-be dictator and his fellow power-seeking enablers.
Many in the rioting, even insurrectionist, mob are self-defined as Neo-Nazis, white nationalists, and white supremacists joined by right-wing conspiracy theorists.
The sway and manipulation of right-wing political leaders inspired the mob's actions which resulted, relatively-speaking, in chaos and destruction and murder and other deaths.
Let there be no mistake that none of the actions of those political leaders and their rioting, obsessive-compulsive followers could have happened without an already-firmly-established, deeply-entrenched, pre-existing foundation of hard core duality-based belief systems which were driving the thoughts and words and actions of all of those involved, leaders and followers alike.
In coming days and weeks and months, there will be much talk, talk, talk about "cause" as many will try to identify "the one thing" that led to the event. The search for "one thing / one cause" will always be futile. Why? Maharaj explained rightly that "the cause of all is all."
Some will set forth their belief about what they see as "a preponderance of evil in the world nowadays." Yet notions about the presence of "evil" will be discounted if one comes to understand that the key driver in such happenings is the Ultimate Sickness and its symptoms (per Maharaj) of "ignorance, stupidity, and insanity" which block any chance for True Love to manifest.
The illusion is that the U.S. is, and has long been, a democracy even though five U.S. presidents did not win a majority of the popular vote.
The illusion is that the U.S. has always been a democracy and a model of equality, even though - per the U.S. Constitution - women could not vote and it was okay and legal from 1619 to 1865 for humans to own other humans (with all rights for whites to buy, sell, beat, and / or kill blacks) and that it took five blacks to equal three people.
Yet long before that inequality-based BS was codified in wiritng, millions of indigenous peoples were slaughtered in order for "the U.S." to even come into existence.
Some politicians said of the violence seen on 6 January 2021 in the nation’s Capitol,
“This is not America. We do not do this . . . we do not behave this way.”
Where the hell have they been?
Ah, of course. They have been sitting back with their brains in neutral while being programmed, conditioned, indoctrinated, and brainwashed to believe the xenophobia-based teachings which manifest when persons are taught to believe in the concept of “American exceptionalism,” always taught in the U.S. alongside the teaching that “America is the greatest country on earth.”
Thus, “American exceptionalism” fosters the notion that “the United States is inherently different from other nations” (with ‘inherently” being rooted first and foremost in acceptance of the eugenics theory that it is the inheritance of white, Anglo-Saxon / Germanic / British genes which "make the real difference").
Repeat visitors to this site understand that at the core of duality-based beliefs is the notion that the concept of “different-from-ment” gives credence to the concept of "better-than-ment," be the supposed difference one’s skin color or be the supposed difference religious preference or a preference for no religion at all;
be the supposed difference a political affiliation; be the supposed difference one’s age; be the supposed difference one’s social or economic class; be the supposed difference homophobia; be the supposed difference one’s nationalistic or xenophobic fervor; ad infinitum.
As far as blaming the nations' problems as being rooted in "a preponderance of evil in the world nowadays," Maharaj – as usual – shared another perspective.
Maharaj:
"Stupidity and selfishness are the only evil."
"Without love all is evil. Life itself without love is evil.
"By all means go and get killed yourself — if that is what you think you should do. Or even go and kill, if you take it to be your duty. But that is not the way to end the evil. Evil is the stench of a mind that is diseased."
"Evil is in the wrong approach to problems created by misunderstanding and misuse."
Questioner: "Do you mean to say that between good and evil there is no wall?"
M: "There is no wall, because there is no good and no evil. In every concrete situation there is only the necessary and the unnecessary. The needful is right, the needless is wrong."
See? Relative problems, here and elsewhere, are not the result of "a preponderance of evil in the world nowadays." They are rooted in "a preponderance of duality-based beliefs," nowadays and always.
That being the case, how could "being religious" or "being spiritual" or "being taught what any dogmatic-or-god-based system believes is 'right and what it believes is 'wrong'" ever address the core issues, the core Sickness? It cannot.
As for the Neo-Nazis and the original Nazis, be not confused that Hitler's rise to power was all about religious prejudice against the Jews and their being different from the Catholics and Lutherans who were running Germany in the 1930's.
Only six million, only half of the twelve million humans killed in Nazi concentration camps, were Jews. Who made up the other six million?
As has been the case in the U.S. in recent years, the Nazi leadership also hated - and therefore wanted to eliminate - all who were not German nationalists, who were non-white, who were gay, who were physically-deformed, who were mentally-challenged, and who did not meet the qualifications for being considered a legitimate member of "the white, Anglo-Saxon, Germanic super-race." Those humans accounted for the other six million.
Similarly, in the U.S., the rioters and their political leaders do not define "the other" and "the enemy" according to one particular criterion but are targeting all who are deemed to be "different" based in religious and / or sexual preferences and / or racial and / or national and / or economic and / or class and / or age and / or political "differences" (which is about nothing more than duality-based beliefs).
Tomorrow, the sharing of other non-dual pointers and quotes will continue. For now, there will be a pause to allow those that might be interested to take the pointers above into consideration.
