Maharaj said that three symptoms of the Ultimate Sickness are “ignorance, stupidity, and insanity.” What are those three really involved with? Beliefs:

1. “We evangelicals believe that Donald Trump is Jesus reincarnated.” Crazy.

2. I don’t believe that anyone in Congress really wants democracy in the U.S. to come to an end.” Ignorant.

3. I believe that I can use my religion’s tools to end my pre-teen niece’s cancer and restore her to health, so I’m lighting candles every day; I’m asking friends to pray for her; I’ve had my priest do a mass for her; and I asked him to add her name to the church’s prayer chain. I really believe she can get better if we all keep doing all of that.” Stupid.

As for #1: Evangelicals justify supporting a rapist, thief, adulterer, liar, sociopathic / psychopath because “the scriptures report God used ‘imperfect vessels’ throughout the Bible for his purposes, including Abraham (an adulterer), Rahab (a prostitute), Noah (a drunk), David (a murderer) etc.”

As for #2: The members of one party in particular include white supremacists, Christian nationalists, fascists, anarchists, racists, and other of similar beliefs. Why do they hate democracy? Because it is a system of government based in non-duality; in treating all people the same; in treating all people equally; in giving all people equal rights, etc. Hardline Christian Reconstructionists have been active in the U.S. since the 1950’s. Their goal has been to overthrown the U.S. Government and establish a society that is reorganized in terms of biblical law. “The Fellowship” / “The Family” is a secretive organization presenting itself as religious but which is actually political. First attracting political leaders with money in the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s, they have grown into a major political force in the U.S. and still are involved with the annual Prayer Breakfast which hosts U.S. presidents, congress, people business tycoons, etc. and which contribute to the campaign funds of right-wing politicians.

As for #3: How dotard-like do persons have to be to believe that they have the power to heal people by lighting candles and that they can control cancerous growths inside the body of another human by encouraging higher and higher numbers of persons to beg God to change a condition that he could have, supposedly, already changed if he really is all-knowing and all-powerful?

Realization is about being free of believing in ignorant, stupid and insane, egotism-inspired beliefs. The non-dual understanding is the Ultimate Medicine which can be used to treat the Ultimate Sickness and bring to an end the unquestioning acceptance of beliefs passed down by generations of ignorance-and-stupidity-and-insanity-driven humans.

To that end, we’ll continue with yesterday’s discussion of the sources of false beliefs, part “B”:

B. The belief in “persons” (personas, false identities, roles, ego-states, etc.) and in “things personal,” and the subsequent belief in a “payoff” for “a person” from “others persons or a God” also triggers a near-infinite conglomeration of other beliefs and assumed personas including “The One Who Has Found Someone To Make Me Happy”;

including “The Ones Who Are Going To Beat The Odds and Be Happy Together Forever”; including “The One Who Has Finally Found the Ideal Mate”; including “The One Who Is Finally Going To Be Loved In The Manner That Has Always Been Desired”; including “The One That Will Be Taken Care Of”;

including “The One Who Is Finally Free As A Result Of Not Having To Work Because Another Has Been Found Who Is Willing To Provide The Lavish Lifestyle That Has Always Been Sought (And, By The Way, Deserved)”; or including “The One Whose Financial Woes Have Been Solved Because There Will Now Be Two Incomes To Cover Expenses”;

including “The One Who Finally Has An Arrangement That Will Assure That My Physical Needs And Sexual Desires Will Finally Be Met On A Regular, Daily Basis; including beliefs about “The One Who Will Be Involved In Procreation And Creating Life And Being A Proud Parent And Making A Happy Family”; etc., etc., etc.

All of those “personal beliefs” take root in acculturation - in what one is led to believe not only can happen but also in what should happen in any given culture; yet such distorted beliefs flourish when bogus-and-misperception-based concepts manifest as a result of taking images for reality.

In the book “Going Crazy, Going Sane,” these pointers were offered regarding this topic: “In the ‘early days’ of a relationship and / or marriage, . . . the manifestations of the effects of personality disorders and / or mental illness [can be denied and taken] to be the exception rather than the rule,” so conclusions such as this might be reached:

“My spouse (or parent or lover or friend) is not crazy - there are just some times every now and then when things build up and something snaps on occasion. The same applies to me.”

The point was made that, in a relationship or marriage, there will be a point at which images that had been taken to be reality will be seen to have been false images only, based in false conclusions and beliefs. At that point when such awareness occurs, the moment is pointed to with the expression, “The honeymoon is over.”

That expression points to the first moment when the phony images which (1) were being displayed when dating and which (2) were maintained during the days (or months, or years) following the wedding are seen to have been nothing more than phony images.

The-honeymoon-is-over-moment happens when the formerly-hidden personality defects and the dark mental liabilities finally surface from behind the facade that had been maintained.”

One’s beliefs about another “person” might finally be seen to have been false; in some cases, the misperceptions and false beliefs can continue for decades; and in other cases, it is noted in that same book that “ . . . the subtle degrees of mental and emotional illnesses will assure that they will often go undetected until all of the image-making and image-sustaining games can no longer be played.”

What sets persons up for such deception? Personality-assumption. All personas have their basic fears and desires, and they will distort the ability to see accurately and will allow images to be mistaken for the real. In that book, the pointer is offered that “love is not blind; the case is that ‘love’ is color blind, unable to see red flags when they are being waved before one’s very eyes;

thus, the realized warn about . . . ‘appearances’.” Again, the beliefs that are the least likely to ever be abandoned are those which involve imaginary payoffs for a “personal self” and those which involve imaginary payoffs from a “personal god” (or gods or goddesses) for a “personal self.”

One key prerequisite for the freedom of belief-less-ness to manifest is the prior manifestation of desirelessness, and the prerequisite for desirelessness to manifest is an abandonment of personality . . . a discarding of all assumed identities which generate all false beliefs about “fear” and “desire” and “need.”

THE EXPLANATION

If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.

Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of god in the past was of a weak god, an absentee god, A Santa Claus-type god, a mean, punishing, vindictive god, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring god whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to."

The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a god that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").

Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring god,' any supposed god that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'god' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part.

"That is, a non-narcissistic their god / their goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'god' and focus on the 'god as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you." 

Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:

"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"

"Heaven and earth shall fade away."

--Yeshu'a (Jesus)

and 

"Heaven and hell are not geographic places

but are states of mind, nothing more than

concepts dreamed up by men."

--Pope John Paul II 

"There is no hell."

--Pope Francis, the current pope

in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari,

a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record

teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium.

[That said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional courage required to question the very existence of their institution in light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of billions of their members past and present.

And that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will they? Not likely. Why?

Because what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the international crime families which hold sway over the masses as criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major international crime families and which are the most influential and have the largest memberships?

The Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion followers) whose Vatican Bank worked for decades with the Mafia while laundering mob earnings (for a 15% all-profit charge by the Bank); Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers) like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)

With all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business, politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the driving forces at play.

The masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
