TODAY'S CONSIDERATIONS

These questions have been asked:

A. Why is it that persons (the "non-realized") are willing to enter onto a "path" and then end up staying on it, and willing to begin a "journey" which never reaches the destination but continue on that "journey" anyway, and are willing to accept a treatment plan which offers no cure for what ails them? Additionally, site visitors were invited to look at the reasons behind that behavior and then answer this:

B. Is that sensible and sane, or senseless and insane? Finally, and most relevant is this:

C. What are the simple ways to stop being driven by those often subconscious reasons and to transition beyond a lifetime of seeking and searching and find a way to just be, to just live, and to just relax? It was noted that a few days will be spent reviewing the reasons which drive persons to follow unquestioningly and with blind faith whatever "path" they were put on as a child or have found as an adult;

to obsess over any given set of teachings (be they thought to be religious, spiritual, philosophical, ideological, whatever); to become a compulsive seeker; and to commit to seeking fanatically for the remainder of one's relative existence.

Then it was noted that certain pointers will be offered which include the ways that some have become freed from being driven by those (often subconscious) reasons and have been able to abide thereafter in a Nisargan, natural, no-workaholism, no-fanaticism, no-obsessions, no-compulsions manner for the remainder of the existence, just as every living thing on the planet does except for mind-driven humans.

So why do humans become willing to do what they are told, become willing to follow whatever "path" they are put on as if they are some kind of wind-up toy car; become willing to do what they do in a blind and unquestioning manner, and become willing to do that for as long as they live rather than march to the beat of a different drummer?

They do that . . .

51. because of an additional blight on humanity which is also linked to human arrogance, egotism, etc., namely a propensity for image-building and image-maintenance which is rooted in a preference for inanthenticity;

52. because the masses never do nothing that does not have a perceived payoff, and when the masses want to cultivate a positive public image, then that image payoff comes by tapping into the largest audience possible;

53. because billions of non-realized persons on planet earth live their lives as if they were bump and go cars;

54. because of blind faith and unequivocal acceptance and unquestioning naiveté;

55. because of humankind's attachment to its "Monkey-See, Monkey-Do" tendencies;

56. because most seekers think they must focus only on things noumenal;

57. because most of the persons presenting the various types of "paths" and "journeys" and "treatment plans" are instructing seekers to focus on the noumenal in order to find a solution to humanity's problems by being godly, religious, spiritual, etc.; and

58. because the steps on those "paths" or "journeys" or "plans" call for the playing of certain "noumenal-based roles" such as "The Super Religious One," "The Spiritual Giant," "The Supreme Self," "The Super Seeker," etc.; and

59. because the end goal of those "paths" or "journeys" or "plans" is to the lead persons to the assumption of those roles and to inspires them to work thereafter - for the remainder of the (so-called) seekers' or devotees' or believers' or followers' or disciples' lifetimes - to maintain those roles;

60. because of the supposedly-available perks, especially those involving conscience-clearing, soul-saving, forgiveness-assuring, punishment-escaping and reward receiving . . . both now and supposedly forevermore after the relative existence ends;

61. because humans dualistically develop (a) a preference for that which is familiar and (b) a hatred for that which is unfamiliar or "different" and because humans become (c) "creatures of habit" (which always include among the non-realized an "us" vs. "them" mentality);

62. because human's primary addiction to control (see reason 29) and their secondary addiction to power / a Power / Powers (see reason 23) in order to be able to control; and

63. because the presence of widespread gullibility, especially among non-realized humans who suffer what Maharaj identified as three of the key symptoms of the Ultimate Sickness (namely, "ignorance, stupidity and insanity");

64. because humans have always been operating from a position of ignorance, and because when humans operate from a position of ignorance, they have no understanding of cause-and-effect relationships, and because when they have no understanding of cause-and-effect relationships, they dream up causes and because when they dream up causes they dream up supernatural Causers; and

65. because when they combine their body-identification-based fears with their belief in dreamed up supernatural Causers, they substitute supernatural causes for a lack of understanding of natural causes which leads them - when trapped in personality-based fears and desires - to play the role of Deal Makers with god but who end up being Deal Breakers and the role of Promise Makers to god but not Promise Keepers;

66. because they think that they can go to holy places or to venues where spiritual topics are being discussed and find someone to love, or can go to holy places or to venues where spiritual topics are being discussed and make someone they are already in a relationship with start loving them again or love them more or find them acceptable or stay with them if they are having problems in the relationship and wanting to avoid abandonment;

67. because there are nine basic personality types and only one of those types can inspire non-conformity while the most prevalent type along with several other types inspire conformity and influences all cultures to reward conformity and to discourage and punish non-conformity;

68. because children - except for rebellious Type Fours - seek to be seen as "good" and not "bad" in order to please parents, please Santa, and later, please the Supreme Parent / the Father / God in a hope that their problems during the AM-ness will be avoided, that continuous joy and uninterrupted bliss will mark their entire lives, and that after the manifestation of the IS-ness, then boundless rewards and endless joy and even greater bliss will manifest forever.

B. Is that sensible and sane, or senseless and insane? Finally, and most relevant is this:

C. What are the simple ways to stop being driven by those often subconscious reasons and to transition beyond a lifetime of seeking and searching and find a way to just be, to just live, and to just relax?

Earlier, it was noted that a few days will be spent reviewing the reasons which drive persons to follow unquestioningly and with blind faith whatever "path" they were put on as a child or have found as an adult; to obsess over any given set of teachings (be they thought to be religious, spiritual, philosophical, ideological, whatever); to become a compulsive seeker; and to commit to seeking fanatically for the remainder of one's relative existence.

They do that . . .

35. because of the global prevalence of fanaticism among the masses;

36. because of the global prevalence of monomania among the masses;

37. because they want to justify their actions;

38. because the masses, through no conscious decision on their own, have been programmed, conditioned, domesticated, acculturated, indoctrinated, and brainwashed to believe that they can be most comfortable by sticking with the banal, the commonplace, the trite, the hackneyed, the clichéd, and the superficial; thus, they are the ones who

A. might, by the rarest chance, hear the precious details about "True Love" but even then will not grasp what "Real Love" is and will - therefore - mistake that for the selfish, Subject-Object type of "love" as practiced among the masses;

and who

B. might, by the rarest chance, hear the precious details about authenticity and, nevertheless, cling to form over substance and to image and appearance over genuineness; who might, by the rarest chance, hear precious details of relative significance but ignore those and gravitate to the shallow and the superficial instead;

and who

C. might, by the rarest chance, hear the precious details about how to become free and independent but who are unconsciously driven into a condition in which they are willing to tolerate their present imprisonment even as they deny the fact that they are, indeed, shackled . . . to work, to their "stuff," to some person or persons, to some organization, to some institution, to some incompetent leader, to their "good" personas, to the captive audiences who are willing to listen to them drone on and on about all of their "progress" and all of their "improvements," ad infinitum;

39. because, for whatever reason, adults all around the globe have now normalized and embraced the complex while deserting the simple;

40. because the masses are identified with false roles, three of the most popular being "The Super Religious One" (played, by the 97% on the planet who claim a religious affiliation with one religion or another); and / or "The Spiritual Giant" (played by the millions who brag, "I am not religious! I am spiritual!") and "The Super Seeker" (played by those whose programming, conditioning, etc. drives them to remain on a "path" or "journey" for their entire lifetime);

41. because persons raised in environments which are chaotic and unstable and involve going and doing and zooming do not have to be taught that that kind of lifestyle is "normal"; they merely assume it is normal; then they internalize that belief; and then they normalize chaos and instability and going and doing and zooming; and then later on, they model that same kind of lifestyle for their offspring;

42. because body identification and the resultant idealization of form over substance, of appearance over reality, of the inauthentic over the authentic, of dishonesty over honesty, and of masquerading rather than discarding all masks leads to the masses being occupied and preoccupied primarily with the look of "the outside" facade over any concern with what is on "the inside";

43. because humans are easily fooled, and most humans are being totally fooled;

44. because some humans are pre-wired (via the agendas of the nine basic personality types) to be dependent and co-dependent and to have a sense of entitlement which convinces them that they deserve to be taken care of by someone else. The arrogant can reach that conclusion on their own; in other instances, some are programmed to think that way;

45. because persons (the "non-realized") are completely unable to differentiate the true from the false;

46. because a related phenomenon is "the belief that panaceas and placebos are effective," a belief which is commonplace among the masses;

47. because the masses are wired to believe every word that liars say; 48. because persons (the "non-realized") are

(A) driven by the hidden, subconscious agendas of their assigned or assumed personalities and are

(B) driven to upgrade those false identities shortly after they are assigned or assumed;

49. because those with the Ultimate Sickness (and its symptoms which Maharaj identified as "ignorance, stupidity, and insanity") despise wisdom, and it is wisdom which is required to finally find that which is truly to be sought (namely, also per Maharaj, "freedom from learned ignorance") and, thereafter . . . to abandon attachment to all seeking and to all journeys and to all non-viable treatment plans; and then . . . to abide naturally (meaning, to abide in the same way in which all living things on the planet abide with the single exception of humans who have the Ultimate Sickness);

50. Because of the bane of humanity, which happens to be near-limitless levels of arrogance, unchecked egotism, smug haughtiness, a boundless sense of superiority, false pride, and near-infinite degrees of self-importance which support humanity's belief in different-from-ment and in the subsequent belief in better-than-ment.

C. What are the simple ways to stop being driven by those often subconscious reasons and to transition beyond a lifetime of seeking and searching and find a way to just be, to just live, and to just relax?

Now, a few days will be spent reviewing the reasons which drive persons to follow unquestioningly and with blind faith whatever "path" they were put on as a child or have found as an adult; to obsess over any given set of teachings (be they thought to be religious, spiritual, philosophical, ideological, whatever); to become a compulsive seeker; and to commit to seeking fanatically for the remainder of one's relative existence.

After that, certain pointers will be offered which include the ways that some have become freed from being driven by those (often subconscious) reasons and have been able to abide thereafter in a Nisargan, natural, no-workaholism, no-fanaticism, no-obsessions, no-compulsions manner for the remainder of the existence, just as every living thing on the planet does except for mind-driven humans.

So why do humans become willing to do what they are told, become willing to follow whatever "path" they are put on as if they are some kind of wind-up toy car; become willing to do what they do in a blind and unquestioning manner, and become willing to do that for as long as they live rather than march to the beat of a different drummer?

They do that . . .

18. because persons are so attached to the content of their minds, and so proud of all of their accumulated knowledge ("learned ignorance," per Maharaj), that they are highly offended to hear it when any of their beliefs are challenged;

19. because a convergence of multiple factors can have a geometric rather than arithmetic effect; 20. because they are still suffering from the presence of some remaining degree of "ignorance";

21. because they are still suffering from the presence of some remaining degree of "stupidity" or foolishness or senselessness;

22. because they are still suffering from the presence of some remaining degree of "insanity";

23. because persons want Power, and they believe that the other-worldly Powers or Power they've hooked up with is not only All-Powerful but is Omnipresent, that is, (a) able to do anything for them and is (b) always present and reliable and willing to do for them, if only they ______. (Fill in the blank with the hundreds and thousands of things that persons have dreamed up and reported that gods or goddesses or The One True God wants in order for them / Him to be pleased and, therefore, willing to grant the wishes being asked for on a daily basis to the tune of billions and billions of requests per hour);

24. because persons believe that there is a god or goddess or God that will give them what they want if they worship that Power and pray to It and have unquestioning faith in It throughout an entire manifestation;

25. because many want to please others in order to get the love now that they did not get as children;

26. because guilt is preferred over the feeling of helplessness: "At least if I am guilty of something, I can repent and thus, have some control."

27. because they believe that if they repent, their deity may feel kindly toward them and will do what they want him / her / them to do, and that takes away their perceived hopelessness and helplessness;

28. because they believe that if they have Someone to pray to, that Someone will part the heavens and enter and change the path of the storm to kill someone other than them;

29. because religion appears to make perfect sense to persons who desperately desire to control their world;

30. because post-programming, post-conditioning, post-domestication, post-acculturation, post-brainwashing, and post-indoctrination, the case among the masses is that, to them, the senseless seems to make "perfect sense" rendering their perceptions and perspectives the 180-degree opposite of reality and truth;

31. because they believe in "the other" (which they are taught from early on to fear and hate);

32. because the masses are capable of believing that they are awake when they are actually totally asleep;

33. because of the refusal to face the facts and admit that all gods and goddesses and "The One True God" were "invented" by humans; and

34. because of the widespread prevalence nowadays of the Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder which has resulted in almost every person on the planet being fanatical and overly-zealous.

Finally, and most relevant is this question:

C. What are the simple ways to stop being driven by those often subconscious reasons and to transition beyond a lifetime of seeking and searching and find a way to just be, to just live, and to just relax?

Yesterday it was noted that a few days will now be spent reviewing the reasons which drive persons to follow unquestioningly and with blind faith whatever "path" they were put on as a child or have found as an adult; the reasons which drive persons to obsess over any given set of teachings (be they thought to be religious, spiritual, philosophical, ideological, whatever); the reasons which drive persons to become compulsive seekers; and the reasons which drive persons to commit to seeking fanatically for their entire relative existence.

Then it was noted that certain pointers will be offered which include the ways that some have become freed from being driven by those (often subconscious) reasons and have been able to abide thereafter in a Nisargan (natural), no-workaholism, no-fanaticism, no-obsessions, no-compulsions manner for the remainder of the existence, just as every living thing on the planet does except for mind-driven humans.

So why do humans become willing to do what they are told; become willing to follow whatever "path" they are put on as if they are some kind of wind-up toy car; become willing to do what they do in a blind and unquestioning manner; and become willing to do that for as long as they live rather than marching to the beat of a different drummer? They do that . . .

1. because they have all been programmed, conditioned, domesticated, acculturated, indoctrinated and brainwashed;

2. because of parental modeling;

3. because they have been lulled into a sleep state while thinking they are awake and choosing to do what they are doing;

4. because they have been misinformed by authority figures but remain loyal to those authorities and their teachings anyway;

5. because they willingly listen to - and believe - misguided and dishonest leaders;

6. because they have become convinced they have already "found all truth" but still need life-long reinforcement of their beliefs;

7. because of their egotism-driven ego-states' desire to be stroked and reinforced and held in high regard by their fellows for supposedly living a life of "great meaning and purpose";

8. because of the influence of their personality disorders;

9. because of their obsession-driven pleasure-seeking and their escapism-driven avoidance and dissociation and detachment and evasion;

10. because their egotism-supported ego-states love the adulation that is heaped upon anyone who is supposedly being "The Super Seeker" or "The Deep and Wise and Philosophical One" or "The Great Ideologue" or "The Super Religious One" or "The Spiritual Giant";

11. because they have lost the ability to choose whether or not to follow no end "paths"; have lost the ability to choose whether or not to engage in a life-long "journey" which never reaches the destination; and have lost the ability to choose whether or not to settle for a life-long treatment plan which offers no cure;

12. because of the desires and the fears of their assigned and assumed personalities (which include the desire for the eternal continuity of the manifest consciousness; the desire for the eternal continuity of the elemental plant body and the mind; the desire for the body-mind-personality to be forever and to experience forever eternal rewards and bliss and / or an eternal life in a brothel with "x"-number of wives, "x"-number of whores, and "x"-number of virgins; or the fear of eternal punishment; or the fear of being deprived of the chance to participate in eternal orgies; or the fear of being punished / burned / etc. for eternity);

13. because they believed it when they were told that humanity's problems are caused by the fact that people are not religious enough, not devoted enough, not faithful enough, and don't study enough the dogma and the content in their so-called "holy" scriptures; or

14. because they believed it when they were told that humans have a "spirit"; they believed it when they were told that "a spirit can become sick"; they believed it when they were told that they have a "sick spirit" and that only conscious contact with God and God's mercy can heal that; or because they believed it when persons told them that their problems are all caused by a "spiritual malady"; and because all of their seeking becomes focused on getting into a relationship with a conceptualized "Being" and thereby finding healing for something which has been dreamed up by persons and which does not exist (a "spirit" or "soul") and finding a treatment for a dreamed up malady that is making some dreamed up thing sick;

15. because persons who have been programmed, conditioned, etc. to believe the beliefs which others pass on to them, and accept those beliefs as true even though there is not one single fact to support those beliefs, are suffering from delusion and distortion and ignorance and one degree or another of insanity;

16. because persons are not likely to find anyone who knows what the real sources of humanity's problems are; and

17. because - even if persons happen to find another who has some inkling about the sources of humanity's problems - the solution is not offered in a plain and simple manner in a language which all can understand.

To be continued.
