TODAY'S CONSIDERATIONS

These questions have been asked:

A. Why is it that persons (the "non-realized") are willing to enter onto a "path" and then end up staying on it, and willing to begin a "journey" which never reaches the destination but continue on that "journey" anyway, and are willing to accept a treatment plan which offers no cure for what ails them? Additionally, site visitors were invited to look at the reasons behind that behavior and then answer this:

B. Is that sensible and sane, or senseless and insane? Finally, and most relevant is this:

C. What are the simple ways to stop being driven by those often subconscious reasons and to transition beyond a lifetime of seeking and searching and find a way to just be, to just live, and to just relax? It was noted that a few days will be spent reviewing the reasons which drive persons to follow unquestioningly and with blind faith whatever "path" they were put on as a child or have found as an adult;

to obsess over any given set of teachings (be they thought to be religious, spiritual, philosophical, ideological, whatever); to become a compulsive seeker; and to commit to seeking fanatically for the remainder of one's relative existence.

Then it was noted that certain pointers will be offered which include the ways that some have become freed from being driven by those (often subconscious) reasons and have been able to abide thereafter in a Nisargan, natural, no-workaholism, no-fanaticism, no-obsessions, no-compulsions manner for the remainder of the existence, just as every living thing on the planet does except for mind-driven humans.

So why do humans become willing to do what they are told, become willing to follow whatever "path" they are put on as if they are some kind of wind-up toy car; become willing to do what they do in a blind and unquestioning manner, and become willing to do that for as long as they live rather than march to the beat of a different drummer?

They do that . . .

51. because of an additional blight on humanity which is also linked to human arrogance, egotism, etc., namely a propensity for image-building and image-maintenance which is rooted in a preference for inanthenticity;

52. because the masses never do nothing that does not have a perceived payoff, and when the masses want to cultivate a positive public image, then that image payoff comes by tapping into the largest audience possible;

53. because billions of non-realized persons on planet earth live their lives as if they were bump and go cars;

54. because of blind faith and unequivocal acceptance and unquestioning naiveté;

55. because of humankind's attachment to its "Monkey-See, Monkey-Do" tendencies;

56. because most seekers think they must focus only on things noumenal;

57. because most of the persons presenting the various types of "paths" and "journeys" and "treatment plans" are instructing seekers to focus on the noumenal in order to find a solution to humanity's problems by being godly, religious, spiritual, etc.; and

58. because the steps on those "paths" or "journeys" or "plans" call for the playing of certain "noumenal-based roles" such as "The Super Religious One," "The Spiritual Giant," "The Supreme Self," "The Super Seeker," etc.; and

59. because the end goal of those "paths" or "journeys" or "plans" is to the lead persons to the assumption of those roles and to inspires them to work thereafter - for the remainder of the (so-called) seekers' or devotees' or believers' or followers' or disciples' lifetimes - to maintain those roles;

60. because of the supposedly-available perks, especially those involving conscience-clearing, soul-saving, forgiveness-assuring, punishment-escaping and reward receiving . . . both now and supposedly forevermore after the relative existence ends;

61. because humans dualistically develop (a) a preference for that which is familiar and (b) a hatred for that which is unfamiliar or "different" and because humans become (c) "creatures of habit" (which always include among the non-realized an "us" vs. "them" mentality);

62. because human's primary addiction to control (see reason 29) and their secondary addiction to power / a Power / Powers (see reason 23) in order to be able to control; and

63. because the presence of widespread gullibility, especially among non-realized humans who suffer what Maharaj identified as three of the key symptoms of the Ultimate Sickness (namely, "ignorance, stupidity and insanity");

64. because humans have always been operating from a position of ignorance, and because when humans operate from a position of ignorance, they have no understanding of cause-and-effect relationships, and because when they have no understanding of cause-and-effect relationships, they dream up causes and because when they dream up causes they dream up supernatural Causers; and

65. because when they combine their body-identification-based fears with their belief in dreamed up supernatural Causers, they substitute supernatural causes for a lack of understanding of natural causes which leads them - when trapped in personality-based fears and desires - to play the role of Deal Makers with god but who end up being Deal Breakers and the role of Promise Makers to god but not Promise Keepers;

66. because they think that they can go to holy places or to venues where spiritual topics are being discussed and find someone to love, or can go to holy places or to venues where spiritual topics are being discussed and make someone they are already in a relationship with start loving them again or love them more or find them acceptable or stay with them if they are having problems in the relationship and wanting to avoid abandonment;

67. because there are nine basic personality types and only one of those types can inspire non-conformity while the most prevalent type along with several other types inspire conformity and influences all cultures to reward conformity and to discourage and punish non-conformity;

68. because children - except for rebellious Type Fours - seek to be seen as "good" and not "bad" in order to please parents, please Santa, and later, please the Supreme Parent / the Father / God in a hope that their problems during the AM-ness will be avoided, that continuous joy and uninterrupted bliss will mark their entire lives, and that after the manifestation of the IS-ness, then boundless rewards and endless joy and even greater bliss will manifest forever.

To be continued.
