THE SEEDS OF DUALITY WHICH PRODUCE DUALITY'S PROGENY:
Offspring Number Ten-
When the Masses Are Not Realized (That Is, When the Masses Are Driven by Beliefs Based in Learned Ignorance), They Will Disdain Unity and Will Favor Polarization Instead.
"Polarization" is defined thusly: "Polarization is a concept that comes from science, and it involves light, radiation, or magnetism moving in specific directions. Outside science, polarization usually refers to how people think, especially when two views emerge that drive people apart, kind of like two opposing magnets."
Polarization as used here happens when people become divided into contrasting groups. If a teacher lets the class vote on whether to have class outside or not, and half wants to stay and the other half wants to go, that issue caused polarization.
When Democrats and Republicans in the U.S. fight, it can cause polarization. A Civil War is an event which manifests because of polarization.
Years ago I discussed the details which emerged during a visit by a man who contacted me and booked a two-day session to do what we termed "a persona inventory." He had read my account about a fellow named Dave who had come here and later admitted that he had been able to compile a list of the false identities which he had assumed in his life and that the list came to over eighty roles.
When the man arrived to begin the two-day "persona inventory," I began as I always do by asking the question which reveals the key personas which are being clung to by persons.
The question deals with uncovering the happenings which a person thinks were the most menacing or the most upsetting or the most wounding or which most hindered or obstructed or impeded her or his desires or hopes.
There was a major shift in his demeanor when I asked the question. His lips tightened into a narrow line across the bottom of his face. The anger reveal by his expression was palatable. Then he began:
"That would be what my wife has done to done, or my ex-wife now. She's a total bitch. She broke up our family and moved into another man's house with our two children and allowed him to take over my role of father to them. There are days I absolutely hate her guts. Some days, I'd like to go over there and kill her and her husband."
F.: "Wow. That's a lot of hatred and emotion. How long has she been with him now?" expecting the answer to be "six months or so" based on the seeming freshness of his anger and seeming newness of his hurt.
He: "Hummmm, let's see. [Long pause.] I guess it's been about . . . uh . . . [eyes looking up at the ceiling], yeah, I guess it's been about . . . twenty years now."
F.: [Just looking at him, then unable to suppress the chuckle that came from inside me.] "Really? Twenty years?!"
He: "Oh, you think this is funny?"
F.: "Hardly. It's just that the level of emotional intoxication that was triggered by the question led me to wonder if the hurt was fairly recent. Obviously, your children are not still there?"
He" "Of course not. They've graduated from college and have jobs."
F.: Well then, as for your "persona inventory," you can start your list with "The Husband" and The Father" as two of the most "powerful" since - twenty years later - they are still influencing and controlling how you think and talk and behave and feel as you sit here in front of me right now."
The fact: Resentments are rooted in the loss of identities and the loss of one's "things." The greater the resentment, and the longer that the resentment lasts, the more entrenched and influential and controlling that identity had been.
And the longer a resentment lasts, the more entrenched and influential and controlling the subsequent sense of polarization becomes.
In the U.S., many trace the roots of the present 50-50 split among the population - mostly along political and religious lines - to the days when Newt Gingrich served as the 50th Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives from 1995 to 1999. As Speaker, Gingrich sought to increasingly tie Christian conservatism to the Republican Party; moreover, a number of scholars have credited Gingrich with playing a key role in "undermining democratic norms in the United States and hastening political polarization and partisan prejudice."
Were "The Gingrich Factor" the actual root of the split, then the chasm and a two-decades-long resentment against those in "other religions" and "other political parties" would indeed reveal influential and controlling identifications and entrenched polarization.
Yet the present polarization and resentment and anger over lost identities in the U.S. goes back much farther than two decades. It actually goes back more than fifteen decades to the end of the U.S. Civil War when the populations of eleven southern states lost the war which they started against the federal government when it outlawed their free labor / their ownership of slaves.
Has the anti-government hatred remained and festered and grown for more than 150 years, preserved by the descendants of those slave-owners and the citizens who still support their efforts to overthrow the government and keep the humans whom people had bought and owned more than 150 years ago? Indeed, yes.
This weekend, I'll drive the back roads from Southern Texas into Central Louisiana in order to take the shortest route on a trip I've planned. Along the way, I will see a half dozen or more homes where the Confederate flag of those southern states fighting against the government in the U.S. Civil War is raised on flag poles in the front yards of certain homes.
I'll also see the Confederate flag displayed on the rear windows of many pickup trucks. I'll see the Confederate flag in the corner of political signs touting right-wing candidates who are running for local and state and federal offices in the elections coming up in a few weeks.
The 150-year-long hatred and resentment is alive and unwell, as in the case with my next door neighbor whom site visitors here know was the man who said that "everything in America was great until Lincoln freed the slaves."
The false-identity-based and polarizing anti-U.S. Government views, the false-identity-based and polarizing anti-Democrat views, the false-identity-based and polarizing anti-public-education-pro-home-schooling views, the false-identity-based and the polarizing anti-progressive views, the false-identity-based and polarizing pro-Christian-and-anti-all-other-religions views are all very old false-identity-based and polarizing views, rooted in beliefs which came out of the 1860's Civil War days and remain to this day.
Presently, battles are raging between those who want to remove all Confederate statues from public lands vs. those who them to remain. Battles are also raging between who are opposed to vs. those who are in favor of the Confederate flags or Confederate symbols still being displayed on the state flags of Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Arkansas, and Georgia, flags which are being flown on public lands.
The emotional intoxication surrounding the South's loss of the Civil War remains and is as strong as ever, the 150 years since the event happened notwithstanding.
When the masses are driven by beliefs based in learned ignorance (including false identifications), they will disdain unity and will favor polarization instead, and that is the state of things all around the globe as the Ultimate Sickness and its high levels of ignorance have spread and engendered a love of polarization and a hatred of "the other" which is always rooted in "how people think, especially when two views emerge that drive people apart, kind of like two opposing magnets."
Such is the case when personas end in ways other than by choice, and such is the case when those personas were powerfully influential enough and powerfully controlling enough that they can still foster resentment 20 years later or 150 years later.

THE EXPLANATION
If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.
Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of God in the past was of a weak God, an absentee God, A Santa Claus-type God, a mean, punishing, vindictive God, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring God whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to."
The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a God that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").
Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring God,' any supposed God that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'God' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part.
"That is, a non-narcissistic god / goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'God' and focus on the 'God as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you."
Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:
"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"

which become a part of the Papal Magisterium.
[That said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional courage required to question the very existence of their institution in light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of billions of their members past and present.
And that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will they? Not likely. Why?
Because what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the international crime families which hold sway over the masses as criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major international crime families and which are the most influential and have the largest memberships?
The Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion followers); Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers) like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)
With all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business, politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the driving forces at play.
The masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
