TODAY'S CONSIDERATIONS
ANNOUNCEMENTS
1. I had to reschedule the two pending post-cataract-surgery corrective procedures until October 26th, so postings may continue to happen somewhat sporadically until the eyesight is improved.
2. [See the offer following this post for details on how you can watch a retreat on video which includes a detailed discussion of all seven of the steps on the path as used by Maharaj]
3. Here, with those who are still driven to talk about "God," the "Son of God," the "Holy Spirit," "Buddha," "Krishna," etc., etc., etc., the invitation to them is to view those as verbs, not nouns. See the end of the post for the full meaning and implications of that.
4. A new video ("Number Ten: Awakening Together Satsang, March 2018") has now been added in the far right column of this page, offering the opportunity to view a recent 2018 satsang session with Floyd being interviewed by Regina and Jacqueline of "The Awakening Together Group."
THE SEEDS OF DUALITY WHICH PRODUCE DUALITY'S PROGENY:
Offspring Number Four -
A Long-Standing Preference for Racial Supremacy; a Preference for Religious Supremacy (Such As Christian Supremacy / Jewish Supremacy / Muslim Supremacy, Hindu Supremacy, etc.); a Preference For National Supremacy and Extreme Xenophobia; Sexism; Racism; and (In Some Cultures) Misogyny.
A In addition to a conscious preference for ignorance over awareness and understanding; a conscious preference for anti-intellectualism, anti-fact, anti-science; and an unconscious preference for the illogical over the logical, there is also,
among those being driven by duality-based thinking and talking and behaviors and beliefs,
a normalization of fragmentation and splintering vs. understanding the unicity and seeking a sense of "unification."
The result in the West - and among certain Eastern cultures as well which are mimicking Western cultures nowadays - is the continuation of the long-standing preference for racial supremacy; a preference for religious supremacy (such as Christian supremacy / Jewish supremacy / Muslim supremacy, Hindu supremacy, etc.); a preference for national supremacy and extreme xenophobia; and sexism, racism, and (in some cultures) misogyny.
Do duality-driven persons ever realize the existence of their preferences and are they capable of seeing how perverted those preferences are? Seldom. That is why Maharaj suggested that only a few among the non-realized billions will ever realize the truth.
As shared here in the past, the attitude of most humans is, "My caca stinketh not, but thy poop doth much offend."
[For an example of that point, consider: How many of the 1.2 billion Catholics on the planet see clearly enough to know they are part of an international crime family?" See "THE EXPLANATION" at the end of this post for more on that example.]
So, persons seldom see their own "relative liabilities" or their own entrapment in the Ultimate Sickness which continues to pass down its key symptoms identified by Maharaj as "ignorance, stupidity and insanity."
The irony of realization is that clarity comes by viewing "from a distance" and thereby attaining a different perspective. Persons are so close to themselves (to their "false selves") that they cannot see the proverbial forest for the trees.
To that end it was after the 2016 presidential election in the U.S. that this site turned to Zeba Blay for her "view from a distance" to provide a clearer perspective of the truth regarding what is arrogantly called "America."
At this point, in light of current events, the actual source of the long-standing problem with the U.S. - namely, its normalization of the duality-based Ultimate Sickness - can still be best explained by Zeba Blay
the "Voices Culture Writer" for The Huffington Post who penned the article entitled "Don’t Be Surprised. This Is The America You Have Always Lived In. The Alt-Right Pandora’s Box Has Been Opened. Now What?"
Blay wrote:
And so, the so-called “unthinkable” has happened. Donald Trump, the racist, sexist, xenophobic candidate of the Republican alt-right, has been elected President of the United States. Across social media, white anti-Trumpers are expressing shock and disbelief, unable to recognize the America they thought they knew. Well, wake up. This is the America that people of color have always known. This is the America that has always existed.
[The irony? This post is happening on October 8th which is a national holiday in the U.S., namely, "Columbus Day" in honor of the man who led in the slaughter of more than 15 million of the indigenous peoples living off the east coast of what was called "The New World" and who opened the gates for "The European Invasion and Holocaust" in the lands now called "the Three Americas" in which a total of 150 million indigenous peoples would be slaughtered.]
Blay continues:

Blay continues:
Patton Oswalt received thousands of retweets on Tuesday for observing: "What I've learned so far tonight: America is WAAAAAAAAY more sexist than it is racist. And it's pretty fucking racist."
He is wrong.
America is deeply sexist, but comparing the role of sexism to the role of racism in Trump's election is comparing apples to oranges, and far too simplistic. After all, 45 percent of college-educated white women also voted for Trump. When asked whether Trump’s win was solely about people not wanting a woman in the role of president, news pundit Danielle Moodie-Mills nailed the underlying factor:
“This is so much bigger than that, this is about . . . this is literally white supremacy’s last stand in America,” Moodie-Mills explained. "This is hatred on a level that we have not seen since Jim Crow. We underestimated as Americans how deep our hatred was of the ‘other,’ how deep white, uneducated Americans felt about the demographic shift. We underestimated that level of insidious hatred.”
[Note that Maharaj's discussions regarding the key problem with humanity has always been rooted in beliefs and that some of the most prevalent beliefs deal with the hatred which is based in a belief in the concept of "the other," with a belief in the concept of "different-from-ment," and - therefore - with a belief in the concept of "better-than-ment."]
Blay:
The election of Donald Trump is painfully consistent with how America historically has reacted to the racial tide turning in the past. From the 13th Amendment, the seeds of mass incarceration were sewn. The hope of Reconstruction gave way to Jim Crow. The first black president has given way to Donald Trump.
It’s no surprise that after President Barack Obama comes a president who has whipped up a frothy storm of hatred and bigotry over the last 18 months, a man who has been enthusiastically endorsed by self-professed white supremacists. This is democracy at work. Democracy, after all, is about representation. Trump’s election is a stark representation of a country that hates black people, that hates undocumented immigrants, that hates Muslims and Jews.
[Maharaj, on hating:
"You do and undo at every step. You want peace, love, happiness, and work hard to create pain, hatred and war"
and
"Selfishness is always destructive. Desire and fear, both are self-centered states. Between desire and fear anger arises, with anger hatred, with hatred passions for destruction. War is hatred in action, organized and equipped with all the instruments of death."
and
"It is your mind that has separated the world outside your skin from the world inside and put them in opposition. This created fear and hatred and all the miseries of living."]
Blay continued:
Trump’s campaign has exposed us to some ugly truths about America’s hatred of "the other," unleashing a thundering tide of bigotry, racism, and xenophobia that is thoroughly unapologetic. And just as dangerous as the unapologetic racists, if not more so, are the white Americans so steeped in racism that they mistake bigotry for patriotism. “Make America Great Again,” they say. “We’re taking back our country,” they say. They make up more of the fabric of this country than anyone has been willing to admit, and Tuesday night, they made themselves heard.
Today, so many Americans are in mourning. They are mourning the death of the dream of “hope” sold to them by Obama’s historic election. They are mourning the death of American goodness. But now is not the time for mourning ― it’s time for action.
This win may be a further validation of racist thinking in America, but it isn’t its creation. It’s been so easy for white liberals to turn a blind eye to the deep-seated nature of racism in the past ― especially after eight years of being able to cling to their vote for a black president. But Tuesday was a wake up call, a stark reminder that there is more for you to do. It will be the job of those Americans who do not agree with Trump and his surrogates, now more than ever, to combat the deluge of bigotry that’s been left in the wake of his ridiculous campaign trail. There are no more excuses."
Blay may never have heard of "Maharaj" or "non-duality"; nevertheless, she joined Maharaj in speaking - at least on this occasion - from the universal consciousness which comes when one taps into a sense of the Oneness via the "inner guru" or the "inner resource" and is thus able to point toward Truth (which actually cannot be stated but which can be known by those who have escaped the bondage of programming and conditioning and domestication and acculturation and brainwashing and indoctrination and warrantless fears and destructive desires and humanity's false sense of separation and "the other" and a belief in the concepts of "different-from-ment" and the subsequent belief in the concept of "better-than-ment.")
The cause of all is all, and all that caused the outcome of the recent U.S. presidential election can be traced back even beyond the invasion of the U.S. by Europeans and to the roots of duality which were sown and reaped for centuries in Anglo-Saxon / Germanic / white Europe and in Spain's and France's and Britain's supremacist cultures and nations with their populations who have long believed that they were entitled to control the lands and resources of darker-skinned (and, therefore, "surely lesser") people all around the globe from India to North and Central and South America to the Falkland Islands to Africa to Canada to Australia and throughout the Middle East and to all points in between.
As long as the Ultimate Sickness is so widespread, so too shall the offspring of duality be widespread, those offspring including selfish desires and fear and a sense of "the other" and a sense of separation and anger and hatred and war and destruction.
The cause of all is all, but all paths of selfish desires and fear and a sense of "the other" and a sense of separation and anger and hatred and war and destruction all lead back to a common source: duality.
To be continued.

Here, with those who are still driven to talk about "God," the "Son of God," the "Holy Spirit," "Buddha," "Krishna," etc., etc., etc., the invitation to them is to view those as verbs, not nouns.
THE EXPLANATION
If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.
Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of God in the past was of a weak God, an absentee God, A Santa Claus-type God, a mean, punishing, vindictive God, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring God whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to."
The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a God that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").
Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring God,' any supposed God that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'God' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part.
"That is, a non-narcissistic god / goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'God' and focus on the 'God as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you."
Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:
"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"
--Yeshu'a (Jesus)
and
"Heaven and earth shall fade away."
--Yeshu'a (Jesus)
and
"Heaven and hell are not geographic places but are states of mind, nothing more than concepts dreamed up by men."
--Pope John Paul II
"There is no hell."
--Pope Francis, the current pope
in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari,
a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record
teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium.
[That said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional courage required to question the very existence of their institution in light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of billions of their members past and present.
And that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will they? Not likely. Why?
Because what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the international crime families which hold sway over the masses as criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major international crime families and which are the most influential and have the largest memberships?
The Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion followers); Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers) like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)
With all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business, politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the driving forces at play.
The masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
