[Please note: The “journey” to Realization has seven, clear-cut steps that must be taken in an exact order. The third step requires that persons first play a religious role or a spiritual role. Both must be transcended to continue, but either (or both) can serve as a step; however, it is far easier to move beyond a spiritual persona than a religious persona.]
F.: Yesterday, a list of some of the claims made those who believe that they are receiving an advantage from their religions and religious practices and religious beliefs was offered. To those claims, you can add any others you choose to make; or (should you become awake, aware and conscious) you can grasp the negative effects that reach far beyond your self, your person/persona, your desires, and your fears and then see the broader facts: (1) all those claims are absorbed with self, (2) your claim that religion has helped millions pales in comparison to the physical, mental and emotional suffering that religion has caused trillions, and (3) all of the claims by the religions of the world—if viewed objectively—are unreal.
One of playwright Eugene O’Neill’s characters said, “Everything looked and sounded so unreal.” Everything in this relative existence really does look and sound unreal…to the Realized. The self-proclaimed “Men of God” mentioned earlier were advising that I give to them the money that belonged to others. The religious ego-state living in fear and guilt and greed wanted to believe that their advice “sounded real,” but eventually it was seen that everything they did both “looked and sounded unreal.” Only to a person who is unawake, unaware, and unconscious can anything in this relative existence look real. Only to a person who is unawake, unaware, and unconscious can anything in this relative existence sound real. Only to a person who is unawake, unaware, and unconscious can any refuge look and sound real while it is programming persons to accept murderous and genocidal behavior as “normal.” If everything to you looks and sounds real, the path to Realization is silently calling.

All of that having been offered, is it likely that you—or anyone trapped in a religious or spiritual state—will see that disadvantages of the accompanying concepts and beliefs and behaviors far outweigh the advantages? Not likely. Only movement along the “path” to Realization can lead to Realization, and only being Realized allows for the realization of the fact that all the concepts they taught you are lies and that all of your beliefs are based in lies. Only at that point can the peripetia come and bring with it total freedom from a lifetime of faulty programming and absurd indoctrination. Please enter the silence of contemplation.
