From a site visitor: Those postings the week before last lead me to conclude that I have finally found someone who can answer a question that no one as yet has answered in a way that has rung true: what is the fourth dimension?
F.: First, understand that which is three-dimensional: a body has height, width and depth. That’s three-dimensional. A “mind” assumes personality (i.e., assumes false ego-states as identities) that are body-dependent, and those roles are played out by a three-dimensional body that is co-dependent with other three-dimensional bodies.
So what is the fourth dimension? It is that dimension that is beyond the three described above. It is a term that points to that which is beyond the physical but is often misused to refer to concepts considered “spiritual” or “metaphysical.” But spiritual role-playing is nothing more than one of seven steps in the shift from identification with the false “I” to becoming fully Realized.
THAT which is real is beyond all talk about spirituality (which typically focuses not on what IS but on what is NOT—specifically, on what is NOT worldly, NOT material, or NOT temporal). But the Realized Advaitan would ask, “So you know what is not, but you do not know what IS?" Religious and spiritual speakers seek an emotional reaction from their audiences whereas Realization eliminates emotional intoxication. So-called “religious or spiritual messages” today also speak about connecting with some God or power or force that is greater than you…in other words, connecting with something that is NOT You. That is duality in and of itself. There is nothing that is NOT You. What You Are, All Is. "Differing appearances" are based in nothing more than variances in vibrational frequency. (The energy/matter called "a tree" is the same as the energy/matter called "a human." The energy is simply vibrating at a different level and results in the mispreception that "they are two things that are different.")
Use the term “fourth dimension,” then, not to refer to anything that is supposedly “spiritual” but to point toward that which is even beyond spirituality. Who today speaks of that? And who today understands that dimensions far exceed four in total and require a double-digit number to tally? Yet that need not be understood for Realization. To the contrary, Realization allows the understanding of the functioning of the totality to happen.
As for your inquiry, then, the term “fourth dimension” could be used to redirect the focus from anything that is taken to be three-dimensional. Then, if You Realize fully, You will understand these talks that deal with that which is beyond the three dimensions, beyond the fourth dimension, beyond spirituality, beyond beingness and doingness, and beyond the non-beingness as well. Please enter the silence of contemplation.
