FROM A SITE VISITOR: If I'm not my body and and am aware of my consciousness even if I lost most of it's parts and I'm becoming conscious that I wasn't created so don't die but i return to the source or the field of consciousness from whence i came after my manifestation-am I conscious of this return? Thanks in advance. Bill
F.: [Continued from yesterday] Compare that energy returning to the field of energy with a glass of water tossed into the ocean. As soon as it is tossed into the ocean, try to grab it with your hands and bring it back. You might get a part of it, or you might get none of it.
Furthermore, while that H20 was said to be water and snow and ice and rivers and oceans and streams, etc., all based on appearance, it was really ONE thing: H2O. So it is when energy manifests in what appears to be varied forms but is, in truth, just ONE thing: energy...specifically, energy with the property of "being able to be aware of" if manifested in some space with a nervous system.
So, before manifestation, there is no "one" to know. After manifestation, the ability to know Self is generally lost via programming. Via the Advaita Teachings, You might cast aside the belief in all those lies you were told and come to know Who/What YOU Truly Are. After the period of manifestation ends, there is again no "one" to know. The elements of the earth from which the body was made return to dust as those elements blend with the universal pool of elements; the breath rejoins the universal pool of air; and the consciousness rejoins the universal pool of conscious-energy (a.k.a., The Absolute).
Aware of the Oneness, self-destructive and destructive conduct vanish since both were driven by desire and fear and wanting to accumulate. Post Realization, de-accumulation happens, there is no need to harm "others" since no desires drive behavior, and there is no striking out at "others" or "the world" since the fear behind all that type of behavior is also abandoned. There is no ego-state, so there is no egotism that drives destructive conduct. Then, the remainder of the manifestation happens spontaneously and "bill" lives AS IF...as if this stuff is real or matters but knowing the secret that only the Realized know: it's all much ado about nothing.
BILL: So in a sense when you say the only thing that matters is right now what you mean is that once we go back into the field of consciousness there is no awareness of the prior manifestation and there probably wont be another-and if I want, the most I can do is set aside all the crap I have bought (Ideas, beliefs even those in AA, and emotions) which gives me a chance to know what I am not to find out who I am. There is no life after, which I have been taught to believe.
F.: And now you could possibly ask, “Who told me that there is a life after, and their belief is based in what factual evidence?” Also, there is only now since “the past” is a conglomeration of false perceptions and memories and impressions and the future is just an imagining generated by the “mind” which is also a conglomeration of lies.
Incidentally, time is an invention of Anglo-Saxons and religion with their timelines of birth-life-death-judgment-eternity in one place or another. Timelines are phony concepts. It is cycles (or, a circle) that more accurately point toward the fact of this matter, not straight lines. Please enter the silence of contemplation. (To be continued)
