Now it should be clearer why Realized teachers say, "If you would come to Me, you must come to Me as a child." A child - prior to programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, brainwashing, and indoctrination - is as close to its Original Nature as a human can be while the consciousness is manifested.
Now it should be clearer why Realized teachers say, "If you would come to Me, you must come to Me as a child." The child in "The Child Ignorance Stage" or "The Child No-Knowing State" is as close to that Original condition as it will ever be again unless Full Realization and Full Awareness happen.
Moreover, the "Me" referred to above is the "You" as well, and both refer to the condition of awareness-energy prior to the manifestation of conscious-energy and after the manifestation of conscious-energy if Full Realization has happen. The variable during the manifestation is I AM THAT; I AM rather than I AM THAT only (which points to the pre-manifestation and post-manifestation state).
I AM THAT; I AM is a statement of the post-Realization state when Reality has been overlaid on the relative; again, I AM THAT refers to the awareness state prior to the manifestation of conscious-energy and after the unmanifesting of the conscious-energy.
Now, the last word will be left Maharaj as he shared his "take" on the subject of Your Original Nature. His "take" can further clarify the nature of that state which was pointed to with the words and terms used earlier regarding the awareness state as it exists both prior to as well as after the manifestation of conscious-energy.
[Again, just as "The Truth" can be known but not stated, so it is that the Original Nature - the condition of the Original State - can be known but not stated; therefore, it is said that the words and terms used earlier are merely pointing toward that state.
Maharaj addressed the issue of describing that state in this way:
Questioner: "Can you describe it?"
Maharaj: "Only by negation, as uncaused, independent, unrelated,
undivided, uncomposed, unshakable, unquestionable, unreachable by effort. Every
positive definition is from memory and, therefore, inapplicable. And yet My
state is supremely actual and, therefore, possible, realisable,
attainable."]
Next, the invitations from Maharaj regarding that state included these:
"Go beyond, back to Your normal, natural, supreme state"
and
"Remove the speck and your eyes will be flooded with light. The light is there - waiting. The eyes are there - ready. The darkness you see is but the shadow of the tiny speck. Get rid of it and come back to Your Natural State."
That is the invitation here as well. Take the necessary steps to be freed, once and for all, from the effects of faulty programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, brainwashing, and indoctrination; take the necessary steps to be freed, once and for all, from the effects of learned ignorance which was imposed upon you through no will of your own;
take the necessary steps to be freed, once and for all, from the personality identifications (and from the effects of their accompanying personality disorders) which were imposed upon you through no will of your own;
then, abide naturally and sanely and wisely and rationally for the remainder of the manifestation, enjoying again the totally unconditional happiness which you last enjoyed prior to having been taught all kinds of insane concepts and ideas and notions and theories (a.k.a., "beliefs").
