Yesterday’s post ended with this pointer:
“And the sooner the better for those who would be totally free of delusions and distortions and ignorance and who would abide in the freedom and peace and ease and simplicity and relaxation of nisarga, natural living."
Those that have found the non-dual understanding and have been freed from the suffering and misery which had marked and marred their relative existence and then become excited about sharing the understanding often made three mistakes which flow from having made several false assumptions.
The three mistaken assumptions made by those that use one or another of the various methods available for trying to share the non-dual understanding (and that also combine the use of a method with pointers rooted in the Nisarga Yoga) are these:
1. The assumption that persons who are miserable and suffering mentally and / or emotionally will go to any length to be free of that which is rendering them sick including the development of a willingness to follow a treatment plan for their Sickness which will move them through a process which can free them of their false beliefs;
2. The assumption that most persons – that is, most humans who are trapped in their learned ignorance and who are identified with multiple personalities and some “supposedly Special or Infinite or Supreme Personality / Identity” – are concerned about the link between their misery and (a) the warped content stored in their minds and (b) the assumed but false roles which drive their thoughts and words and actions; and
3. The assumption that those among the non-realized masses really want to abide in a natural manner.
The actual case is quite to the contrary:
FIRST, AS FOR THOSE “FALSE BELIEFS
It is likely, based in Maharaj’s estimate, that fewer than 1% of the earth’s population at any given moment will be fully realized (that is, totally free of being driven by “ignorance and insanity”).
If fewer than 1% will ever realize fully, then fewer than 1% of the humans on the planet at any given moment are likely to ever see and admit that their beliefs - which they are so proud of and which they claim actually “define who they are” - are false.
Fighting among non-human life forms is limited to fights over grazing / feeding rights and occasionally to fighting over the right to breed during the times when a female is ready to breed.
Fighting among humans is quite different. Yes, humans fight over the right to breed (see “The Jerry Springer Show”) but almost all fighting during the modern history of humankind has involved a fight over beliefs:
Catholics vs. Protestants
Christians vs. Jews
Christians and Jews vs. Muslims
Left-wingers vs. Right-wingers
White-skinned persons vs. all others with not-white skin
Dictatorships vs. Democracies
Straights vs. LGBTQ’s
Capitalists vs. Socialists and Communists
Federal vs. Local and State Governments
Etc., etc., etc.
And persons do not only fight for their beliefs. Many are even willing to die for their beliefs. Really? Okay, rock and roll, I guess.
SECONDLY, AS FOR THEIR “LEARNED IGNORANCE” AND “FALSE IDENTITIES”
Related to beliefs, the belief in false identities is something else which modern humans have been willing to kill and / or die for.
One of the most powerful forces at play around the globe does not involve armaments, weaponry, earthquakes, tornadoes, floods, hurricanes and typhoons, etc. It involves the power of egotism to try to protect one’s collection of false ego-states.
Those that visit that site regularly are aware of this statistic: in the U.S., 59% of all women killed annually die during a “relationship breakup.”
“You’re going to leave me?! I don’t think so!! I’ll kill you before I let you leave!!!”
There were a total of 17,284 reported murders and non-negligent manslaughter cases in the U.S. in 2017.
(The number of murders is actually much higher but the federal government does not require law enforcement agencies throughout the U.S. to report the number of people they kill annually, much less the number of unarmed people they kill. That notwithstanding, do the math on the murder rate and see the astonishing power of egotism as it works to try to protect such false identities as, “The Husband,” “The Lover,” “The Mate,” “The Fiancé,” “The Partner,” “The Significant Other,” etc.)
Moreover, hundreds of other false identities – manifesting in the workplace, in traffic, in nightclubs, etc. – also contribute to the annual death toll in the U.S. and all around the globe.
But even after all of that, how many are stirred to become concerned about their learned ignorance and how many are actually inspired to be free of the influence of phony roles and their agendas and fears and desires? Almost none.
Again, fewer than 1% will likely ever abandon their attachment to their learned ignorance and to their false identities / Identities.
THIRDLY, AS FOR “LIVING NATURALLY”
Actually, how many are even aware of the three modes of abidance, much less will consider them all and then make a conscious decision to avoid two of the modes and abide naturally?
The modes? Well, a few humans might abide naturally (as is the case with every life form on the planet except for humans); or, as billions do, one might abide unnaturally; or, as billions more do, one might try to abide supernaturally / religiously / spiritually.
Again, fewer than 1% will likely abandon their efforts to live supernaturally or their tendencies to abide unnaturally and seek out a means by which they can abide naturally.
Therefore, a video posted on YouTube showing a man’s pet bird taking a dump on the head of its owner who is sprawled out on a couch and taking a nap can get one million+ views, but as for a site endorsing freedom from ignorance and insanity or freedom from one’s warped mind or freedom from false identities (or Identities)? Not so many.
Toss in an invitation to be free of one’s phony religious and / or spiritual identities? Even more will avoid the site.
Want to really incite looks of wonderment or disgust? Try to open a discussion about a seven-step path vs. a four-step path and see the reactions which follow.
So it is, but that is the reason that Maharaj said that this message in not for the masses. Do not try to present it in open forums, he advised. (So much for all of those Big Name Teachers he warned seekers to avoid who present their pseudo-non-duality talks to thousands at a time in public venues.)
Instead, Maharaj said, truth and understanding will only be found in small, near-private enclaves or in one-on-one settings with a guide that is a conduit for the universal consciousness; with a guide that is about the business of un-teaching you and assisting you with un-learning; and with a guide that can facilitate your tapping into the Inner Resource / the Inner Guru.

THE EXPLANATION
If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.
Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of God in the past was of a weak God, an absentee God, A Santa Claus-type God, a mean, punishing, vindictive God, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring God whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to."
The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a God that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").
Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring God,' any supposed God that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'God' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part.
"That is, a non-narcissistic god / goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'God' and focus on the 'God as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you."
Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:
"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"

and
"Heaven and hell are not geographic places
but are states of mind, nothing more than
concepts dreamed up by men."

in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari,
a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record
teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium.
[That said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional courage required to question the very existence of their institution in light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of billions of their members past and present.
And that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will they? Not likely. Why?
Because what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the international crime families which hold sway over the masses as criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major international crime families and which are the most influential and have the largest memberships?
The Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion followers); Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers) like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)
With all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business, politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the driving forces at play.
The masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
