COVIG-19 and THE RATIONALE FOR CHOOSING SCIENTIFIC FACTS OVER THE EMOTIONAL INTOXICATION GENERATED BY RELIGIOUS / SPIRITUAL FANATICISM: 

While Religion and Science Are Not Always Incompatible, Logic and Reason and Wisdom Make Clear That If a Choice Between The Two Is To Be Made, Only One Choice Is the Sane Option 

I was asked this yesterday:

"We've been hearing about the coronavirus since the beginning of this year and I've been watching daily for you to mention something, anything, about it but so far unless I missed something you haven't said a word about it. Do you see it as a major threat or not?"

I have not mentioned covig-19 though I see it presently as the penultimate sickness which the people on the planet will have to face. ("Penultimate" means "second highest, second to last, second most serious." Some in the medical community suggest that anywhere between 1/3 and 1/2 of the planet's human population may contract the illness.)

By contrast, almost 100% of the people on the planet have already contracted the Ultimate Sickness which has long been the focus here.

Covig-19 is a physical sickness which is spread so easily because there are multiple ways of contracting the virus, including via contact with a surface on which the virus is living; by contact with droplets expelled by carriers when they sneeze or cough; or, most significantly, by simply breathing in air as the virus in some cases can be spread as an airborne aerosol which can float about for hours. (One doctor said compare it to the airborne particles you see in the air in your home when sunlight shines through a window.)

The Ultimate Sickness, by contrast, is a mental sickness which is spread by passing around ignorance-and-insanity-based nonsense via ignorant and insane programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, indoctrination, and brainwashing.

I talk about the Ultimate Sickness, not about what is presently the penultimate sickness, because I cannot speak about the latter from first-hand experience but can speak about the former from what I guarantee was my first-hand experience with the Ultimate Sickness.

If I could tell you - as some scientists can and as some medical authorities can but as the president of the United States has shown he cannot - I would tell you what I understand about the facts; but I have limited understanding about the virus and how to treat it so I am sticking to sharing information on this site about the Ultimate Sickness.

(As with the Ultimate Sickness, who one listens to and believes will likely play a relatively-significant role before this passes. Presently, 70% of Democrats and the majority of Independents in the U.S. consider the spreading of the virus to be a significant event. Only 40% of Republicans believe that to be the case.)

There are those with personal and political agendas who are sharing false information about the virus that is guaranteed to increase the contraction and mortality rate of Covig-19. There are those with personal and financial agendas who are sharing false information about the Ultimate Sickness (those whom Maharaj called "The Big Name Teachers whom you should avoid"), agendas which are guaranteed to increase the contraction and mortality rate of the Ultimate Sickness. The same applies to both the penultimate sickness and the Ultimate Sickness.

That being the case, I have not been discussing the virus. My daughter asked me about it as she saw one of her daughters becoming anxious around all the talk about the virus which she was hearing at school. That was happening before her daughters and her family went into self-imposed quarantine, and I sent these texts to her:

"It seems that every generation has some global trauma to face, and many go from their childhood years and then throughout their adulthood years with the lingering effects of that trauma because they do not get it treated effectively. My folks went through the depression and WWII. Before development of the Salk vaccine, my generation went through the polio scare. My childhood friend Frankie living in the house next door ended up in an iron lung, and though he survived, he had to wear metal braces on both legs for the rest of his life in order to walk. Now this generation is going to face a viral global trauma with economic repercussions as well."

and

"Your daughters are so smart and vulnerable that they pick up on every nuance. Their exposure to talk about the virus might need to be avoided as much as the virus."

There will be changes in treatment approach until an awareness of the most viable treatment plan emerges. There was a similar series of changes with the evolving approach used by Maharaj (and the approach used here) regarding the treatment of the Ultimate Sickness.

Consider:

Maharaj tried working with a guru, followed by years of consideration;

next, he isolated from his family and gave forest dwelling a shot;

later, he returned home and tried discussing the realization process / processes with hundreds of visitors who came to his shop;

he later tried to come up with a Hinduism / non-duality compound version of the Ultimate Medicine in which he encouraged singing and chanting and dancing about, and during those many sessions a day, he also conducted meditation sessions in which he tried to lead persons (if only temporarily) into the samadhi state.

From among all of the many, many types of bhakti with which he was inundated, he specifically tried . . .

guru-bhakti;

god bhakti and a religious / non-duality compound version of the Ultimate Medicine;

setting aside the religious / non-duality compound version of the Ultimate Medicine;

trying atma-bhakti;

blending jnana yoga with non-duality;

blending a spirituality / non-duality compound version of the Ultimate Medicine;

guiding seekers along a seven-step "path" and SELF-Enquiry; 

setting aside the spirituality / non-duality compound version of the Ultimate Medicine;

blending nisarga yoga with a non-duality compound version of the Ultimate Medicine;

guiding seekers along a four-step path and self (false-self) inquiry;

and ultimately,

blending a nisarga yoga / non-duality / psychological compound version of the Ultimate Medicine.

Here, 15 years ago I began offering a nisarga yoga / non-duality / psychological compound version of the Ultimate Medicine which followed a seven-step path;

eventually, with seekers who came here, I offered a choice of a four-step path or the seven-step path;

I had offered for decades, as a part of the way I paid the bills, a personality inventory which exposed seekers to the relative curse of personality identifications as well as a means to become free of those and I began blending that into the treatment plan for addressing the Ultimate Sickness;

10 years ago I began endorsing the four-step path and began focusing on self-inquiry alone;

5 years ago on this site I began offering a four-step path only and false-self-inquiry only.

See, whether dealing with a viral pandemic or with a mental pandemic, there are many parallels. I will continue to endorse a four-step path and continue to offer a means for attaining freedom from body and mind and personality identification.

Meanwhile, I will leave what needs to be done regarding the current viral pandemic to the science and medical authorities (as Maharaj did) and will ignore religious and political leaders who are using this pandemic to advance their personal agendas (as Maharaj did).

THE EXPLANATION

If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.

Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of god in the past was of a weak god, an absentee god, A Santa Claus-type god, a mean, punishing, vindictive god, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring god whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to."

The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a god that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").

Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring god,' any supposed god that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'god' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part.

"That is, a non-narcissistic their god / their goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'god' and focus on the 'god as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you."

Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:

"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"

and

"Heaven and hell are not geographic places

but are states of mind, nothing more than

concepts dreamed up by men."

"There is no hell."

in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari,

a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record

teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium.

[That said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional courage required to question the very existence of their institution in light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of billions of their members past and present.

And that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will they? Not likely. Why?

Because what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the international crime families which hold sway over the masses as criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major international crime families and which are the most influential and have the largest memberships?

The Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion followers) whose Vatican Bank worked for decades with the Mafia while laundering mob earnings (for a 15% all-profit charge by the Bank); Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers) like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)

With all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business, politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the driving forces at play.

The masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
