The Pure, Universal Consciousness,
Pure Awareness,
and a
"Proper Perspective"

A totally different perspective can provide everything which persons otherwise waste time seeking and can provide all that persons 'need,' relatively speaking.
Pain involves physical conditions; suffering involves mental conditions.
When pain manifests, the old standbys which persons turn to are those involved with the traditional medical establishment with persons who have (supposedly) been trained to address issues dealing with the components of the elemental plant food body.
Few in pain seek “outside the traditional box” and few ever consult naturopathic healers.
During my
youth when I spent three to four months a year staying with my Cherokee Medicine Healer
grandmother, I saw a constant stream of persons in pain who came to her as their first and last and only choice for healing. They received healing via her use of naturopathic medicine.
Seeing the number of person in pain who came to her, and seeing how effective she was at using natural healing methods and using natural herbs gathered from the surrounding forest, it was quite easy for me to look outside the box, to have the perspective that - major emergencies notwithstanding, natural healing using natural no-side-effects substances make sense as the first, not the last, option.
Those experiences with Grandmother always inspired me to avoid as best I could the persons who are associated with the establishment-type “healing” venues and who are driven less by a sense of caring and healing and more by a sense of business and industry and a “cattle-call” mentality which makes millionaires and billionaires of so many nowadays.
But that view is rare.
However, when suffering manifests, the old go-to standbys which the masses turn to are the venues
(1) where doctors - all trapped in the shackles of the God-Complex Personality Disorder and the Perfectionistic Personality Disorder are in charge
and
(2) where their worshipers are the nurses and staff who work under them and where some workers are seeking rich caretakers to support them.
That’s about physical pain and seeing relief.
When suffering manifests, the old go-to standbys which the masses turn to are the venues where persons with a heightened sense of need can turn to in order to find “relief” from suffering.
Those venues are usually establishment-type institutions such as organized religion or local ashrams or “India-based” ashrams or “spirituality”-based Twelve Step groups or large gatherings with Big Name Teachers and lecturers
or
supposedly “Native America Sweat Lodge Retreats” or supposedly “Holy Sites” around the globe which are believed to possess a special kind of energy or higher-level consciousness.”
Sufferers as well as those who would advance to “higher levels of spirituality” or "higher levels of consciousness" visit such locales with the belief that they can end suffering (or can “rise to higher levels”) if they can just . . .
learn more dogma
or
if they can learn how to engage in spiritual exercises which can address their “spiritual malady”
or
can learn to meditate properly
or
can learn to breathe properly
or
can get closer to a god or gods
or
can become spiritual giants if they learn more and more from the Big Name Teachers who talk and write about . . .
how to "Change Your Thoughts and Change Your Life"
and learn what "Your Ultimate Calling" is
and read about the "Incredible You!"
and learn “10 Secrets for Success”
and learn about “The Power of Intention”
and learn how to “Advance Your Spirit”
and learn how to “Find Your Life’s Purpose”
and to know “The Infinite Self”
and to learn about attaining the “Power of Now”
and learn about “The Way to Love”
and learn how to have an “Ageless Body and Timeless Mind”
and to learn how to achieve “The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire”
and to know “The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success: A Practical Guide to the Fulfillment of Your Dreams”
and to learn “How to Know God”
and to learn how to “Love What Is,” whether "what is" is the killing of your child or your inviting your rapist to dinner or the minimizing the Jewish Holocaust . . .
… ad infinitum.
But what if Maharaj was actually correct when he said “This is all really simple”?
What if you do not “need” to be taught more and do not need to learn more but actually need, simply, to be un-taught and to un-learn all which you have been taught?
What if all you really “need” is a totally different perspective?
How can one begin to make that come about? Maybe by answering these questions which have been asked here of seekers for 32 years:
“Is it possible that everything you have ever been taught or have read or have heard was . . . completely incorrect?”
“Is it possible that everything you have ever been taught or have read or have heard was . . . complete BS?”
“Furthermore, is it possible that all you ‘need’ is to begin functioning under the auspices of a totally different perspective?”
“And is it possible that a totally different perspective can come automatically, without having to go to any supposedly ‘holy’ or ‘special’ venue or place or ashram or church or abbey or temple or synagogue or ‘evangelical’ location or where any other cult-perpetuating groups or compounds are operating?”
“And is it possible that a totally different perspective will come automatically if you just purge your brain of the mind-content stored therein, content which is nothing more than an accumulation of human-dreamed-up-nonsense made up of notions and concepts and ideas and thoughts and designs and plans and schemes and impressions and images and views and opinions and theories and intents and purposes and impressions, all of which amount to one thing, namely, ‘beliefs’ which you think are ‘your beliefs’ but which are really ‘their beliefs’?”
And if a totally different perspective comes, what also changes automatically?
If a totally different perspective comes, than clarity comes, and clarity will allow one to be able to differentiate between the true and the false and thereafter speaks from the perspective of the pure, universal consciousness.
Yet among “the truly realized,” that speaking or "sharing" only happens if persons first made clear that they are interested in hearing that consciousness speak.
