CONSCIOUSNESS vs. AWARENESS
Fools do not know that, post-manifestation, there is no beingness or even non-beingness. There is no false self that will be; nor is there any Self that will be, so there is not any Infinite Self or Supreme Self that will be either. Nothing with any identity or shape or defined space will be. No selfness or Selfness exists. Only That which is beyond both beingness and non-beingness shall remain. All that there will be is the unmanifested energy in the universal pool and the matter which cannot be destroyed. And those who do not understand that truth are fools (that is, they are persons who have been fooled by taking the dreamed up beliefs of other humans as gospel. As one famous social critic said, “There is no belief that has been dreamed up by men that is worth believing”).

To help clarify some of the content in yesterday’s post”
THE PURE, UNIVERSAL CONSCIOUSNESS
and
“I AM CONSCIOUSNESS”
and
“CONSCIOUSNESS IS ALL THERE IS.”
Is there such a thing as impure, dirty, or contaminated consciousness?
Actually, no, but there can be circumstances by which consciousness cannot function naturally and efficiently.
Consider:
The term “dirty power” means one thing when discussing politicians and a different thing when discussing - for example - electrical power. In the latter case, “dirty power” is an abnormality not in the power but in the quality of the delivery system. Abnormalities can include low power factors, voltage variations, frequency variations, surges, etc.
Yet even then, the electrical power is not dirty or impure. The problems - which can result in power outages and other effects - deal with the means of movement for the power, not with the power itself.
The same applies to consciousness which is actually just conscious-energy. For the sake of maintaining “level appropriateness” in discussions of consciousness which often happen at an elementary level, then, yes, there is talk of unclean or impure or polluted consciousness.
At some point, however, it should be made clear that the problems of humanity are centered not in unclean or impure or polluted consciousness but are centered instead in certain “transmission blockages.”
Just as flaws in electrical power transmission can result in abnormalities in the quality of power movement which can lead some to talk of “dirty power,” the fact is that the power is not dirty at all.
What is actually happening is that the delivery process is not functioning efficiently, and that applies to problems with the functioning of conscious-energy as well.
While low power factors, voltage variations, frequency variations, surges, etc., can negatively impact (relatively speaking) the efficiency of the functioning of electrical power, so too are there forces at play which can negatively impact (relatively speaking) the movement and effectiveness of conscious-energy. Such as?
Such as warped or perverted programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, brainwashing and indoctrination of humans.
Next, while some credit Maharaj with having been a speck of manifested, pure, universal consciousness, such was not his take. He did not say, “I am the pure, universal consciousness.” He did say, “I talk to you from the perspective of the universal consciousness.”
Electric companies are not made up of people who are electrical power. They are made up of persons whose job it is to delivery electrical power.
So it is with the supply chain of conscious-energy, moving about throughout the universe and on planet earth via the sun; via photosynthesis and plants; via plant and human cell manufacturing; via acts of friction among humans, etc.
To claim “I am consciousness” is false. To explain that “I am presently a three-part composite unity of converted plant food elements which is constantly circulating different quantities of air and different quantities of conscious-energy” would be true.
[Some believe - because of “memories” - that there has been some continuity of consciousness or conscious-energy from the beginning of the manifestation to the present moment, believing erroneously the elemental body has stored certain specific quantities of conscious-energy.
If the body could do that, then one would only have needed to eat one meal and would then be done for an entire existence; instead, the conscious-energy is constantly coming and going and must be constantly replenished in order for “life” to continue.]
Furthermore, it is bogus to claim that “consciousness is all there is.”
All there is - basically - is energy / matter. Neither can be created, and neither can be destroyed. Moreover, consciousness is really conscious-energy, and conscious-energy is not all there is.
In fact, just in terms of energy alone, there is mechanical energy, heat energy, chemical energy, electrical radiant energy, nuclear energy, sound energy, conscious-energy, etc. Consciousness / conscious-energy is not all there is.
[And since energy can neither be created nor destroyed, so much for the false beliefs that there are “creators” and there is “a Creator”; and so much for past - and, yes, even current - beliefs about there being three kinds of gods / goddesses: “Creator gods, Sustainer gods, and Destroyer gods.”]
So, regarding the three topics above:
The pure, universal consciousness: VALID.
“I am consciousness”: INVALID
“Consciousness is all there is.” INVALID
Realization is like the wave that can come along and sweep away all the false impressions imprinted on “the mind.” Realization makes you aware that the nothingness that you’ve always taken to be something is not that thing at all. Those impressions were never real.
You mistook an empty space to be something, and that’s what persons do all day long, all month long, all year long, year after year after year. Most spend their entire relative existence convinced that their perceptions are the “right” perceptions when in fact they have never seen anything “rightly.”
As a result, they will suffer from one false impression after another, not unlike all the impressions in your “mind.” Footprints in the sand appear to have some shape or form, just as mirages in the desert appear to have a shape or form, but the reality is that all impressions and all mirages are just a part of the fiction of the “mind.”
To be “in touch with reality” is to be able to differentiate between what is illusion and what is real, between what is delusion and what is truth, and between that which appears to be dualistic as opposed to that which is One and truly Real.
If realized, however, it is known that this beingness is temporary and that the non-beingness is the completely natural state (as opposed to unnatural states or supernatural states as adopted by non-realized persons).
Energy manifests and is aware of the beingness, then energy unmanifests and has no space or form by which the beingness can be known.
