THE REASON THAT “NON-DUALISTS” SHOULD UNDERSTAND PRIMATE CULTURES ON THE AFRICAN SAVANNAH

“Again, primates are primates are primates. The basic behavior of one primate will usually adumbrate the basic behavior of all primates. Apes mirror humans; humans mirror apes; moreover, what happens in Vegas might stay in Vegas, but what happens on the savannah will happen everywhere else on the globe where humans have clustered together in cultures and societies.”

Consider the commonalities which apes and humans share:

Apes form duality-based hierarchies; humans form duality-based hierarchies.

Apes prefer duality-based apartheid (that is, a system of segregation and discrimination); humans prefer duality-based apartheid (that is, systems of segregation and discrimination).

Apes fear and despise and hate “the other”; humans fear and despise and hate “the other.”

Apes use force to defend apartheid; humans use force to defend apartheid.

Hierarchies will be discussed in more detail later. For now, consider apartheid:

Apartheid is all about being “apart” . . . apart from those that are considered to be “different from” and “less than.”

If one is different from others in an apartheid-supporting culture, the members of the culture will try to separate others from the culture’s “mainstream” or destroy them completely.

Among human primates, the difference might involve persons’ religious beliefs and affiliations or their lack of religious beliefs and affiliations; the difference often involves physical appearance or skin color; the difference might involve sexual preferences;

the difference might involve political affiliations; the difference might involve age discrimination; the difference might involve monetary compensation based on sex;

the difference might involve national origins or geo-origins; the difference might involve discrimination against those who are disabled; the difference might involve marital status.

Among human primates, there is often a preference for taking over another’s territory. Human primates are masters of justification. The British spoke of “the white man’s burden” to justify their colonization of 25% of the occupied land masses all around the globe, especially when occupied by darker-skinned people. (“The dark-skinned people are so damn backwards. We need to go in and teach them how to live in the manner of our advanced ways.”)

THE HISTORY OF RELIGIOUS JUSTIFICATION FOR SUPPORTING APARTHEID

EUROPEAN APARTHEID

The Europeans spoke of “wiping out the savages in the Americas” and establishing Christian nations in order to justify the slaughtering of 150,000,000 of the indigenous peoples from the northernmost point in Canada to the southernmost point in what is now Argentina.

JEWISH APARTHEID

Five thousand years ago, the Jews used their religion and its teaching that “they were God’s chosen people” - and were therefore entitled to special treatment - as justification for entering the land of Canaan / Israel, killing the people of seven different nations already abiding in that area, and taking it over for their own “homeland.”

According to the British mandate, that area was known as “Palestine” from 1920 to 1947. In 1948, the United Nations proposed the partitioning of Palestine into two independent States, one Palestinian Arab and the other Jewish, with Jerusalem being internationalized.

Thus, for a second time that land (considered to be “Holy Land” by Christians) was taken from its inhabitants and given to the Jewish people to set up a nation (Palestinians having abided there for 2000 years notwithstanding).

Since 1948, the Jews - with the military might of the U.S. supporting their agenda - have methodically taken over control of all of the land.

Yesterday, Israel slammed the UN chief for saying the recent Hamas attack on Israel “did not happen in a vacuum.” Spot on, but abusers cannot tolerate it when someone points out their abusive behavior. As with the most abusive ape in a troop, the most abusive humans go for the jugular when challenged.

Primates = primates = primates.

(As for the U.S. / Israeli love affair rooted in a 2000+ year Judeo-Christian linkage, it can be seen that in modern times, the U.S.-Israeli military alliance has resulted in the U.S. providing $1.92 billion in military assistance and another $1.2 billion for other causes. Today, after Israel was attacked by Hamas, there are now two U.S. military strike groups off the coast of Israel with 15,000 personnel, two aircraft carriers, at least two cruisers, four destroyer squadrons and two carrier air wings with 140 aircraft total. This is a pattern which has been recurring repeatedly since 1948 to the present.)

 U.S. APARTHEID

Apartheid has been the established, overt system used in the U.S. from 1619 to the time of the War Between the States from 1861 to 1865, fought to keep blacks separate from whites. From 1865 to the present, more covert methods have been used to keep the races apart:

Separate schools based in racial differences; Jim Crow laws and the hanging of blacks, especially in the South.

(My dad moved from Texas to Shreveport LA for a job opportunity and was an 18-year-old living there when the last black man was hanged in public from a tree in front of the courthouse in 1934. Other public hangings in Louisiana continued until March 7, 1941. After 1934 in Shreveport, the authorities moved hangings inside the courthouse where they could be hidden so people would not protest. When I was a teen, debates raged between the few who wanted “the hanging tree” cut down and the KKK members and the other white supremacists in that community wanted it perserved. It still stands there today, and until 2022, it had standing next to it a monument honoring a Civil War Confederate soldier. It’s been moved to another parish since. The apartheid remains in Shreveport which was, for a time, the capital of the Confederacy.)

Other methods used to keep the races separate: excessive black incarceration; homeowner associations which denied blacks home ownership in their communities; and the practice among  many police departments to this day which includes turning a blind eye to the murder of unarmed blacks.

Back on the savannah, when an ape from a different geographic area tries to co-mingle with a troop of apes, it will be viciously attacked and “run out of town.” 

When humans who are considered to be “different from” and “not as good as” try to co-mingle with a group of people, it will be viciously attacked by the majority and blocked from joining.

That is the epitome of duality - and dualistic thinking - at work. Everything that Sapolsky shares with us regarding . . .

the behavior of the ape primates on an African savannah and the heavy toll which a duality-based, hierarchy-driven manner of abidance takes on their health and their lack of peace is adumbrated in . . .  

the behavior of duality-driven human primates who suffered the same health issues and the same lack of peace as a result of their duality-based and hierarchy-driven existence.

THE EXPLANATION

If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.

Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of god in the past was of a weak god, an absentee god, A Santa Claus-type god, a mean, punishing, vindictive god, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring god whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to."

The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a god that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").

Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring god,' any supposed god that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'god' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part.

"That is, a non-narcissistic their god / their goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'god' and focus on the 'god as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you." 

Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:

"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"

"Heaven and earth shall fade away."

--Yeshu'a (Jesus)

and 

"Heaven and hell are not geographic places

but are states of mind, nothing more than

concepts dreamed up by men."

--Pope John Paul II 

"There is no hell."

--Pope Francis, the current pope

in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari,

a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record

teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium.

[That said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional courage required to question the very existence of their institution in light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of billions of their members past and present.

And that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will they? Not likely. Why?

Because what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the international crime families which hold sway over the masses as criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major international crime families and which are the most influential and have the largest memberships?

The Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion followers) whose Vatican Bank worked for decades with the Mafia while laundering mob earnings (for a 15% all-profit charge by the Bank); Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers) like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)

With all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business, politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the driving forces at play.

The masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
