F.: Today, several hundred million persons will be celebrating what they call “Independence Day,” but those persons have no real independence or freedom at all. Like the politicians who will be reading the words of an unseen writer, persons always appear to be speaking; however, their words are not their own but are generated instead by something hidden from view. The real “Independence Day” for the non-Realized is the day that they are freed of all of the hidden and unseen illusions and delusions that drive them to behave and think and feel in the fashion that they do.

TO REVIEW THE KEY POINTERS OF THE SERIES:

1. Persons who believe they are free and independent are actually trapped and dependent.

2. The non-Realized speak words that are contrived by sources that are hidden from view, including sources that are hidden from their own view.

3. Specifically, it has been shown that persons (the non-Realized) cannot possibly be free when their actions and reactions are driven by the agenda of a frustrated child within that they are not even conscious of.

3. Neither can they be free when their thoughts—and the behaviors that are generated by those thoughts—are products of “the mind,” which is nothing more than the accumulation of the falsehoods that they were programmed to believe, such as: “My country is better than every other country on the entire planet, bar none” and “If you do not want your area to be struck by an approaching hurricane, pray for god to move its path” (and let it strike others?) Are you seeing the self-ishness and arrogance of accepting such nonsense as reality?

4. Persons are trapped in ignorance because they don’t even know Who/What They Truly Are and because they believe that their multiple false personas really define who they are.

5. Persons don’t even have the freedom to make an independent statement; instead, all of the words coming from the mouths of the non-Realized are nothing more than the voice of one of their multiple personalities. The voice only appears to be coming from those people. Just as politicians’ words are not their own, so it is with all non-Realized talkers. None of them are different in any way from the dummies of ventriloquists that appear to be thinking and talking but whose every move and every word is coming from a source behind those dummies. As an exercise in awareness, take every statement that you make for the next several days—or, better yet, every statement you start to say but don’t—and ask, “WHO is coming up with that thought?” Is it “The Proud American”? “The Controlling Person”? “The Super Religious Person”? “The Spiritual Giant”? “The Frustrated Child That is Within”? “The Expert”? “The Helper/Savior”?

6. The key is to see what is behind your thoughts and words and deeds, to find what it is that is pulling your strings and manipulating you like a marionette or controlling you the way that a ventriloquist controls everything seemingly done by a dummy. Then consider: dummies are not locked in prisons or houses and left there. They move about the country and even cross oceans, just the way persons can move about and thus assume that they are free. But no sensible human would suggest that dummies are free and independent.

Only when being manipulated by some driving force behind them can dummies appear to move on their own; can they appear to be thinking on their own; can they appear to be making choices on their own; and can they appear to be talking on their own. (All appearances are what make persons believe that the illusions they are witnessing are real. It is appearance that makes persons believe "this world" is real.) Persons are just like those dummies, only appearing to be deciding where they go and what they do and what they think and what they say; however, since some driving force is behind all of what appears to be happening via persons, they have no freedom or independence at all. To talk of persons being "free and independent" is as nonsensical as suggesting that a ventriloquist’s dummy is free and independent.

Today in one nation, words that are rooted in duality will perpetuate the already-present sense of separation (as well as the arrogance that inspires belief in the lie that "We're the Best"). Those words will be inspired by such personas/ego-states as “The Proud American” and “The National Leader” and “The Dedicated Soldier” and “The State Leader” and “The Local Leaders” and “The Patriot” and “The One Willing to Die for My Country—Right or Wrong.”

Tomorrow, and continuing until the next July Fourth, all will return to (ab)normal as words that are rooted in duality and that generate or reinforce a sense of separation and arrogance will be spoken by “The Ayatollah” and “The Priest” and “The President” and “The Super Spouse” and “The Entitled One” and “The Frustrated Child” (of all ages) and “The Highly Religious One” and “The Justices” and “The Conservative” and “The Liberal” and “The Christian” and “The Judgmental Parent” and “The Spiritual One,” and “The Racist,” and “The Rabbi” and “The Republican” and “The Democrat” and “The Centrist,” and “The Tribal Leader,” and “The Helper/Savior” and “The Wealthy One” and “The Boss,” ad infinitum.

Those are all persons who think they know what they do not, namely, the Truth; therefore, they are not independent since they are not free of the delusional thinking resulting from their programming and conditioning. Pavlov’s dogs lost choice. They lost the ability to choose because of their conditioning and programming. So it is with the non-Realized. No letter was sent to 300 million citizens of the U.S., telling them how to behave today, but most will behave in exactly the same fashion today because with persons, the rule always is, “Monkey see, monkey do.” Who would conclude that a monkey is free and independent if all it does is mimic other monkeys? For persons, the monkeys being mimicked include parents, grandparents, friends, relatives, ancestors, “leaders,” neighbors, co-workers, “personalities in the news,” employers, etc.

But for those who would be truly free and independent, the invitation is to discard your false personas and awaken to the Reality of Who/What You Truly Are. Another “state” is available for abidance during the manifestation. It is the only state in which true freedom and independence can happen and be justifiably celebrated. It is that state wherein the Realized abide. Knowing that nothing in “this world” is real, the Realized understand that nothing in an imaginary world can generate a consistent sense of ease and comfort that only comes with true independence. While the accumulations and machinations of “this world” generate disappointment or restlessness or misery or irritability or discontentment or boredom or frustration or alternating period of happiness and unhappiness, there is that state which is free of the chaos and illusions of “this world”…namely, the Void.

Real freedom and independence can only happen in that Void—in that state of Nothingness with zero concepts—as the consciousness remains manifest but does not attach to any ideas or beliefs or dogma or religious teachings or so-called "spirituality" or any other form of "learned ignorance." The alternative to the peace of the Nothingness is that state of innumerable concepts in which most will live out the manifestation, trapped in personas, driven by fears and desires, never able to relax and take it easy, but convinced in that dream (or nightmare) state that they are free and happy and not bored and not depressed.

In truth, it is that state that all are in already, but persons do not know Who/What They Are, much less what state They Are Truly in. Instead of recognizing that state of unicity, they believe all of the lies that constitute the “mind” and therefore believe that the state of duality in which they exist is the real state. But you will not change them, so the only logical consideration for you is to determine, “How free (or trapped) are you?”

That is, how free of the influence of personas and personality are you? Are you totally free of the influence of a frustrated child within that has controlled your adult-age feelings and thoughts and generated your belief that "needs" (which are only imagined) are real? Have you seen all of the ideas and concepts and roles that have governed you? Have you seen how personality and fears and desires determine everything that persons do and say and feel? Have you consciously declared your independence? Are you completely free? If not, are you ready to take the seven-step journey as outlined in the book FROM THE I TO THE ABSOLUTE and be truly free and independent? Please enter the silence of contemplation?

    Five Free eBooks

    Compliments of Andy Gugar, Jr.,
the following eBooks are available without charge for you or for friends:

    I.
"GOOD vs. EVIL?" or "IGNORANCE, STUPIDITY, and INSANITY?"

The content of this eBook deals with one of the most common but erroneous beliefs that the non-Realized masses cling to and which they will fight about (and even kill over), namely, that there is a planet-wide duel going on between “the forces of good and evil” in the universe.

Either (1) the ancient view is spot on: that the "ills of the planet" are rooted in evil people, in people not being religious enough or spiritual enough, and are caused solely by bad morality; or, (2) the "ills of the planet" are rooted in ignorance, stupidity and insanity and "being good" or "being moral" does not put an end to ignorance, does not eliminate stupidity, and does not treat insanity in any way.

    II.
    "THE VISION"

Comments regarding the free eBook entitled “THE VISION”:

“My thanks to you and Andy.” – Andrew “Mac” McMaster

“Thanks so much for the book! And, by the way, it is brilliant and the most effective pointing that you have done. It has served to help clear the remaining blockages.” – Stan Cross

“Greatly appreciate having “THE VISION” added to my Henderson resource library that is situated on the right side of my bed for easy access! Eternally grateful for what was received and what was given.” – Robert Rigby

“‘THE VISION’ is such a well-written, condensed version of the Nisarga Yoga approach to understanding and enjoying Reality that I feel it can serve as a must-read ‘meditation guide’ for all earnest seekers.” – Andy Gugar, Jr.

    III.
"Sapolsky, Maharaj, and the Non-Dual Teachings"

Dr. Robert Maurice Sapolsky is an American neuroendocrinologist; a professor of biology, neuroscience, and neurosurgery at Stanford University; a researcher; an author; and a Research Associate at the National Museums of Kenya.

There is much that a non-dualist or Advaitin or Nisargan can relate to by comparing and contrasting what Sapolsky reveals about the way certain troops of baboons live in Africa with the way that humans abide all around the globe.

This 152-page eBook catalogues the common, non-dual message shared by Sapolsky and Maharaj and reveals the ways that Sapolsky’s scientific research supports the non-dual pointers offered by Maharaj.

    IV.
    Seeking

In “PART ONE” it will be seen that most persons on the planet are not seeking, and most will never seek, but for those who are seeking, most will face several obstacles:

In “PART TWO” of this book, it will be seen why many criticized Maharaj for “changing his message in his later talks.” It will be seen that the changes were not about changing the message per se as much as about changing his methodology as he experimented with one version of the Ultimate Medicine after another in order to try to find an effective means for addressing the Ultimate Sickness.

He tried a religious version of the Medicine, a Spiritual version of the Medicine, and finally settled on a version which addressed to Sickness at its core . . . at the mental and emotional level.

    V.
"THE MOST DANGEROUS BELIEF OF ALL"

“Dangerous” is a term that can only apply during the relative existence, but of those who do commit suicide, for example, how many shoot themselves in the foot over and over until they “bleed out”? None. They shoot themselves in the head. Why? In order to try to stop the noise - to try to stop the chatter of a thousand monkeys – to stop the noisy mind which is the area that stores the ideas, notions, concepts, mind-stuff, etc. which drives them into the depths of insanity.

And what are those ideas, notions, concepts, etc. called, collectively? "Their beliefs." The irony? They are not their beliefs at all. They are the beliefs of “others” that were set in place via programming, conditioning, etc. and which persons then think are their own.

And what are those beliefs rooted in, and what reinforces those beliefs and convinces persons that they are sacred and worth fighting over and even sometimes worth dying for? Blind faith.

This 337-page eBook discusses those issues in detail.
