FROM A SITE VISITOR: Im in a program where they keep telling me to keep it simple, but nothing is simple in my life anymore. Really I see that my life has never been simple but its supposed to be getting there but its not. In fact its all very complicated. I started searching on the internet a few months ago and found your site and have been reading along each day. I did a search for “alcohol” and “alcoholism” and “addiction” and read some things from a Lisa back in February and maybe in October (don’t know if that’s the same person but I started relating to what you said to her). I also read some things you wrote back to “anonymous” and I dont understand everything you said to Lisa and anonymous but somehow what you told them seems to be resonating with me too. Ive never been more lost in my life and I do want to keep it simple and it sounds like youve figured that out for you without any program. Can you help me get what you have? Anonymous Too.

F.: Hello Anonymous Too. Those were not likely the same “Lisa.” One seemed ready to move on to the next level while the other did not. As for the question, “Can I help you?” you’re too early into this deal to understand the teachings about the concepts of “help” and “helping,” so let it suffice to say that you are invited…

…to read the response that follows

…to see if you understand why “lives” become complicated, and then

…to see if you can understand the means by which a return to simplicity can happen.

Recent posts were responses to persons who are seeking more knowledge, seeking to be better, seeking to gain more, seeking to improve, seeking to be reborn someday—to be made flesh again at some future time, seeking to improve themselves, seeking to keep some of the “old parts” and to develop “new personalities” during multiple reincarnations, etc.

The processes they believe in would be quite complicated and strenuous and laborious if they really happened (which they don’t). But the ego always chooses complication and complexity over simplicity, the “noisy” mind over the simple quietness, the lofty concept over the modest reality.

Far preferable to the ego (which is identified with a body and mind and personality that longs for continuity at all cost) is the simplicity of NOW, and NOW only.

This is an excerpt from an interview that touched on the simplicity of the “lowest” common denominator:

“But back to the common element that is All. Modern physicists at first called that smallest building block ‘strings’ until some decided that an even-more-basic element exists which they call a ‘sparticle.’ Names notwithstanding, there is only one single ingredient to what we call ‘everything’ or ‘the diversity’ or ‘the entire universe.’ I call it ‘That,’ That which is the one and only whatever that is Real, typically Unmanifest, occasionally manifested, or not. ‘Everything’ is really one thing. The term ‘unicity’ is accurate.”

You don’t have to understand all of that at this point in order to continue, but the point is, it’s all so simple, really. It’s all so simple in Reality. If you functioned as THAT, as that simplest “whatever” without all of the complications that have been “added on” along the way, imagine how simple your “life” could be.

The seven-step process that is taught in FROM THE I TO THE ABSOLUTE or in sessions here is a process of simplification…of “going back” to the simplest point before all the complications were “added.”

How does the simple become so complex? In the interview referenced above, this was also offered:

“Do you not see that there is a common element of energy that moves about this manifestation, moving via flora and fauna from one form to another, taking on the appearance to the naked eye of this type cell cluster here or that type cell cluster there? That moving energy is the same life-force which is also moving about via light waves and light particles, absorbed into manifested forms. Therefore, it is not the eating of the salad that sustains your ‘life’ and the manifestation of consciousness. It is the consumption of that life-force that is within the plant, followed by the natural ‘absorption’ of that life-force into ‘your’ cells, which allows for a continuation of the manifestation of consciousness. Again, it is not really an ‘absorption’ or ‘conversion.’ More accurately, It Is What It Is, and It Is Doing What It Does, automatically. You Are That. The heron Is That. The fish Is That. It does not change, for It Is The Real. All else is an illusion, perceived as ‘varied forms’ to the eye. Yet the forms with their varied appearances are merely manifestations of the three basics: the elements, the air, and the energy-consciousness.

“Understand that what you call ‘death’ is just the distillation of all that has been attached or ‘added’ since manifestation—via the teaching of concepts—to the essence, the pure consciousness-energy. The distilling, or the cleansing or stripping away of all that is not essence-only, is an act of re-purifying (or unblocking) the consciousness. But you call it ‘death’ as if it were something to be detested. The dirty mind—filled with its myths, lies, concepts, beliefs, emotions, ideas, and superstitions—hates the notion of such cleansing and purification. Programmed humans love their beliefs and concepts, defining themselves with those ideas. Don’t dare try to cleanse their minds, for they’ll want to kill you. The last thing most want is to be freed of the garbage in their minds which they think is so valuable. To challenge their beliefs is to attack them personally, so they think. Filth loves filth. Corruption loves corruption. The familiar is attracted to the familiar.

Are you beginning to see, Anonymous Too, how simple it all was before “they” programmed you with their beliefs and ideas? It is all that you have been taught, all that has been “added” and has formed your “mind,” that has generated all the complications. In the beginning it was all so simple. Are you seeing what is required for a return to simplicity? Continue reading what was shared with the interviewer:

“But that essence-only is what You Are, what I Am. ‘Born in sin?’ Surely they jest. It is at that time of ‘birth’ that one is closest to the pure, the Real, the essence. Not again until ‘death,’ which is the releasing of the consciousness from a space, will it be freed of all the crap and the impurities that this culture pumps into it. The closest thing to ‘sin’ is the corrupting of the pure consciousness by the so-called ‘leaders’ in any society as they disseminate their self-serving lies. They are the leaders in the corruption process. Their ‘power’ is the power to corrupt.”

Enough for today. Take this into contemplation. Try to recall how simple it was at some point and how much more complicated it became as you were taught more and more concepts, most of them contradictory. Recall how confused you became as they told you to behave in one way while they behaved in another.

See how the simplicity was lost after complicated and contradictory concepts were taught and were stored in what you call "your mind." Then revisit the literature being used in that program you’ve been in, specifically the line that says, “The main problem centers in the mind.” Please enter the silence of contemplation.
