To review:
That which is natural is rooted in non-duality; all which involves unnatural thinking and / or supernatural thinking is rooted in duality.
Whether speaking of Maharaj's lesser focus on the Nisarga Yoga in the beginning or discussing his near-total focus on abiding naturally in the end (as opposed to trying to live supernaturally and / or unnaturally), it is granted that all of that is relevant only to the AM-ness, but presently, what happens in the AM-ness impacts every person far more than anything to do with the THAT-ness.
So, to continue with excerpts from the book Why NISARGA YOGA in addition to the Advaita Teachings? as considerations about the Nisarga (natural) fashion of abidance are offered:
Why All of the First Three Legs of "The Journey" Must Be Completed in Order to Abide Naturally
For the masses, the manifestation-to-mahasamadhi process is distorted as a result of their having completed only one leg of a three-leg "journey" (which they take to be a "birth-to-death-to-eternal-life" journey).
For the masses, their one-leg-only "journey" entails (a) manifestation, (b) undergoing the step-seven process of disintegration that moves one from the awareness / Absolute state and to (c) being left in that delusional condition which is the fartherest removed from Reality, namely, body identification.
Completing that one leg of what is actually a three-leg "journey" is all that will happen with most persons because they will never seek. On the "coming in" leg, most will be introduced to religious or spiritual personas and will be guided by their programmers to stay there.
Their "guide" will only guide them as far as the third of seven steps, so 97% on the planet now claim an affiliation with some organized religion. Millions more claim membership in what they see as "their special spiritual-not-religious program."
(That is stated with [1] the greatest degree of egotism and sense of better-than-ment via the implied assertion that "we are so far beyond where those religious people are" while at the same time claiming that they have been freed of [2] their "former" great degree of egotism and their "former" sense of better-than-ment.)
For the few who do seek realization via non-duality, many undertake only a two-leg "journey," having first undergone the "coming in" leg and then completing the "going back" leg and thereafter claiming that they abide "there" or as THAT alone.
For the "fully realized" that understand the Nisarga Yoga as well, a three-leg "journey" is completed, but first, consider this: it has been said that neurotics build castles in the air, that psychotics move into those castles, and that therapists and psychiatrists collect the rent.
Many receive only enough of the non-duality teachings that they end up at some point between building the castle and moving in, not totally psychotic but definitively neurotic.
Driven by personality - and the hidden agendas of personality as well as the varying degrees of mental disorders that accompany personality assumption and personality disintegration - many will display certain beliefs and traits and behavioral patterns that are near-psychotic.
Full realization, if reached via the Direct Path Method and the Nisarga Yoga, will allow for the completion of all three legs of the three-leg "journey" and will allow for the understanding that this "journey" - this process - is not about "being uniquely and singularly THAT"; they will understand that enlightenment actually lightens;
they will understand, as a result of having completed all three legs of the three-leg "journey," that Full realization is not about a lightness of THAT; and they will understand that the post-realization lightness is actually the lightness of being, the lightness of the I-AM-ness.
They alone will be the ones being bathed in the full light of the noonday sun, and they alone will know the lightness and relish it. Because the summative statement "I AM THAT; I AM" has nothing to do with two-ness, then the realized can fixate as THAT and as this AM-ness, "simultaneously."
That fixation can happen, though, only when Reality is overlaid - so to speak - on the relative, only when the "reality" is cloaked in Reality, so to speak.
It is the one-leg "journey" which results in the misery and suffering and chaos that are typical among the non-Realized masses of the planet.
Completion of the two-leg "journey" will typically result in persons taking themselves to be deep philosophers or some really boring "Supreme This" or "Supreme That" or some overly-serious persons who claim to be beyond the personal, beyond the beingness, and even beyond the beyond.
Having received only the dim light of the dawn, there is among those types a drabness that marks and mars their existence as a result of being far too serious, too grave, too solemn, too stern, too grim, too humorless, and far too severe overall.
Having completed only two legs of the three-leg "journey," many adopt labels that trap them in ignorance while thinking they are brilliant, believing that they have learned something momentous that has rendered them important and significant and crucial. They are not, yet they are not, dualistically, unimportant or insignificant or slight, either.
The fully realized understand that they just are. It is totally clear that the I AM just IS. That is a significant part of what the Nisarga Yoga is about. In the process of completing all three legs, the seekers that finally realize fully will have "come in," gone "back out," and then "come back in" (but in a totally different fashion the second time "in").
Humans that have completed all three legs will once again be in touch with their original nature, so natural living can happen.
A lightness of being can mark the beingness, so humans can continue throughout the remainder of the relative existence to live in an AS IF manner that puts them on the same track as all other forms / spaces that are abiding naturally: the deer, the birds, the fish, etc.
Because the Nisarga Yoga allows the original-but-lost sanity to be restored, then the abidance unfolds in the same manner as that among all forms / spaces that abide sanely (i.e., naturally rather than unnaturally or supernaturally).
It should also be clear at this point why a "fully realized guide" is usually required for the "journey": some guides will guide their followers to the third step and encourage them to fixate in their religious or spiritual persona / false identity;
some will guide seekers to that wasteland (which is mistaken for some kind of lotusland) which is somewhere between the building of castes in the air and moving into those mental castles which are far removed from reality or Reality either one;
but only a few will guide seekers that have completed one-leg of the journey through all of the going-back steps on the second leg and then through all of the steps on the coming-back-in-again leg.
An experienced escort is also required for the non-optional, guide-directed self-inquiry which must be completed thoroughly and honestly before the Self-Inquiry phase of the "journey" can be completed. Why? Maharaj included "learned ignorance," "stupidity," and "insanity" among what must be removed along the "path."
Yet what chance is there that ignorance can recognize ignorance, that stupidity can see stupidity, or that insanity can spot insanity?
At best, the axioms that reference psychological projection ("if you spot it, you've got it" and "if you can see it, you can be it") might apply. Just as the selfish are the most likely to see selfishness in others without seeing it in themselves, and just as arrogant persons are most likely to detect arrogance in others, so it is that
a. those who are not being objective have been the ones to most readily assert that "Floyd, you cannot be objective"; or so it is that
b. those who are misperceiving everything have been the one to most readily say, "Floyd, you just don't see what I'm doing here, and it most certainly is not what you are suggesting"; or so it is that some have said
c. "I am the one who has found it all and you are the one who is misrepresenting major parts of the understanding."
So it has been said to be on occasion, but so it is not. All such claims are generated by the egotism that comes along with their ego-states which are being supported by the blinding arrogance that will set the stage for those who have completed one-half of one leg of a "journey" to claim "I have arrived!";
it is ignorance that will inspire those who have complete two legs of a three-leg 'journey" to assert "It is I who have truly arrived!"; and it is only the clarity and humility of knowing that one has not yet arrived that might allow some seekers to accept the guidance required from one that has traveled all three legs of the three-leg "journey" and thereby assist those seekers with the completion of all three legs of the entire "journey."
If they complete all three legs, then they can abide as their Original Nature for the remainder of the manifestation and live out the relative existence is a Nisarga - natural - fashion.
To be continued.

Since the new setup for the video is "automated" now, I have been considering the reduced cost of providing it. The office assistant will no longer have to be paid for processing each sale (going into the download site; creating a new username and password for each sale; contacting the buyer and providing the download link and username and password; then going back in later and deleting usernames and passwords, etc.) Now, with it fully automated, I don't have that expense so have been considering running a sale on the new video for awhile and seeing if we might be able to share the message with more seekers who cannot attend a retreat.
Yesterday one man who noticed the new format wrote to mention the key role that the video played in his realization process. This morning, Bill (a regular visitor to the site), wrote to say, "Glad to see you are offering your 7 hour retreat online. I watched it more than once on the DVD’s. My memory of a very poignant point within is an exchange with you and Andy, where he wrestles with and states correctly something like 'I see what you are saying but it is very hard to give up something (a cherished or ingrained belief) you have believed your whole life'.”
[That's Andy next to me on the right side of the table]:
Receiving testimonies about the video's results for two days in a row was enough to convince me to follow through and offer the video at the reduced price.
The streaming video can be accessed by anyone, anywhere on the planet with internet access. If you are interested, then . . .
