ENTERING INTO "THE CHILD IGNORANCE STAGE" OR "THE CHILD NO-KNOWING STATE"
[Included are excerpts from the book entitled The Relative Results of Returning to "The Child Ignorance Stage" or "The Child No-Knowing State"]
The
Relative Freedom of Reaching the Fourth of Seven Steps, Part “A” (What
to realize about focusing on “things noumenal” vs. “things relative”)
Maharaj predicted early on that only one in 100,000 would “get” the full non-dual understanding which treats the Ultimate Sickness; years later, he would revise that guesstimate to 1 out of 1,000,000; eventually, he would modify his estimate to 1 out of 10,000,000.
Few seek the understanding because the 97% of the billions on the planet who claim to have a religious affiliation are convinced that the religion of their parents, which they have since unquestioningly adopted as their own, is sufficient. Millions more are convinced that their newly-found spiritual program or their philosophy or their ideology will provide all they could ever need; therefore, only a tiny fraction of those on the planet will seek, and few of those will actually “get” it.
If Maharaj’s third amended estimate were to prove to be too high, and even if his second revised estimate were to proved to be too high, even going by his lowest estimate suggests that the symptoms of the Ultimate Sickness are being suffered by 99.99+% of the persons on the planet.
And what are three of the key symptoms of that Sickness, per Maharaj? “Ignorance, stupidity, and insanity.”
His having noted that those three symptoms all deal with the warped human mind explains why he discarded the dogma part of his message, why he later discarded the spiritual part of the message, and why he focused in the end only on the psychological sources of the Sickness and how to treat them.
The final version of the non-dual understanding which he provided as the Ultimate Medicine focused on the mind aspects of the Sickness; on the use of the Direct Path Method stripped down from seven to four steps; and on using the Nisargan Yoga as an adjunct which – if understood – would offer a sane method of abidance to replace the insane manner of living to which the masses are attached.
If one reviews from yesterday the beliefs (and the behaviors which those beliefs have inspired throughout the last 5000 years) and the behaviors which those beliefs are still inspiring at this very moment, then it should be clear that neither religious movements nor philosophy-based study systems nor ideological systems of ideas and ideals nor spiritual movements are structured to address the mass “ignorance, stupidity and insanity” which is plaguing the relative existence of billions of persons.
(Certain spiritual movements do claim, to the contrary, to be able to restore persons to sanity and claim to have actually done so, yet their arm-chair psychology is being presented by amateurs instead of trained professionals, the latter being the only ones who might have some chance of assisting those among an ever-changing, multi-million person membership that is plagued with the “grave mental and emotional issues” which they reference.)
Once it is understood that while some small percentage of children might be strapped with “ignorance” as a result of the defective genes of one or both parents, the wise understand that the “ignorance, stupidity and insanity” so commonplace among the masses is, for the most part, passed down via ignorant, stupid and insane programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, brainwashing and indoctrination.
Most ignorance will, therefore, be of the type which Maharaj called the “learned ignorance” variety.
While programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, brainwashing and indoctrination can begin very early on, for the most part the use of those begins later when children develop communication skills and become susceptible to accepting as truth what their parents and other adults teach them.
(Note that all of their “teachers” are themselves suffering from the ignorant, stupid and insane programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, brainwashing and indoctrination to which they were exposed early on and which they will continue to be exposed to throughout adulthood.)
For adults to be free of the “ignorance, stupidity and insanity” which are typical of the global human condition and which are symptoms of the Ultimate Sickness which generates most human misery and suffering, they will need something other than their current religious, spiritual, philosophical, and / or ideological systems.
How is that known? Look at the facts:
Ninety-seven percent claim a religious affiliation but function throughout the relative existence in a destructive and / or self-destructive manner which exhibits the highest levels of ignorance and craziness. (See yesterday’s post again for examples).
The same high levels of ignorance and insanity are being displayed by philosophical giants and ideologues.
Millions more claim an affiliation with one spiritual movement or the other, but those who claim their insane behaviors were caused by drinking or drugging are actually worse off now because the insane things they are doing now are being done while stone-cold sober.
Thus the above pointer that most humans need something other than their current religious, spiritual, philosophical, and / or ideological systems if they are to be restored to sanity.
Most will never change. Many who want to change will likely need professional assistance. And, in some cases, the non-dual understanding might move some well along the path.
If one sees that - before having been exposed to ignorant, stupid and insane programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, brainwashing and indoctrination - children are not yet exhibiting the symptoms of the Ultimate Sickness, then is it not logical to follow a path back, in reverse, which allows for the undoing of the effects which set the stage for them to end up being ignorant, stupid and insane as adults and return to abiding in the pre-crazy manner of their pre-programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, brainwashing and indoctrination state?
Non-dualists refer to that state as "The Child Ignorance Stage" or "the Child No-Knowing State."
Such is the rationale for seeking a different path to take, unlike any that has been traveled before; to follow that path with a guide to the non-dual understanding; and then to abide in a nisargan, natural, sane and wise manner for the remainder of the manifestation.

THE EXPLANATION
If
looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total
waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are
resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they
are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.
Meaning?
There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept
of god in the past was of a weak god, an absentee god, A Santa
Claus-type god, a mean, punishing, vindictive god, etc. Today, I am in
close contact with a loving and caring god whom I worship and praise and
glorify and give thanks to."
The
reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a god
that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're
dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with
narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism
evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").
Next,
in the phrase 'loving and caring god,' any supposed god that truly had
her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part
of that phrase is 'god' and that the only part that is relevant is the
"loving and caring" part.
"That
is, a non-narcissistic their god / their goddess would say, "I care not
an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or
anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to
want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'god' and focus on the
'god as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and
caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love
and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you."
Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:
"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"

and
"Heaven and earth shall fade away."
--Yeshu'a (Jesus)
and
"Heaven and hell are not geographic places
but are states of mind, nothing more than
concepts dreamed up by men."
--Pope John Paul II
"There is no hell."
--Pope Francis, the current pope
in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari,
a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record
teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium.
[That
said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core
concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional
courage required to question the very existence of their institution in
light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children
and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of
billions of their members past and present.
And
that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about
why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to
continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and
conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will
they? Not likely. Why?
Because
what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the
international crime families which hold sway over the masses as
criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major
international crime families and which are the most influential and have
the largest memberships?
The
Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion
followers) whose Vatican Bank worked for decades with the Mafia while
laundering mob earnings (for a 15% all-profit charge by the Bank);
Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers)
like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and
sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created
environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies
like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)
With
all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership
ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be
they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business,
politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and
they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the
driving forces at play.
The
masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their
groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem
because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the
people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the
masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved
with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the
continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate
the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types
of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
