So the main problem of humankind has been identified and discussed. It is a sickness, but not a sickness which is rooted in too little dogma or in a sick spirit, as the masses believe. Instead, it is a mental / psychological sickness.

When delineated, its aspects / symptoms make a very long list, including fanaticism; addictive thinking and addictive-driven behaviors; personality disorders which eventually disintegrate into serious neuroses and psychoses; an inability to be in touch with reality; 

an inability to return to one's original manifested state of unconditional happiness; an inability to function in a manner that is not determined and controlled by the effects of insane programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, brainwashing and indoctrination; and the list goes on and on. 

For the sake of brevity, the key symptoms of the Sickness which is at the root of humankind's problems and misery and suffering and chaos were identified by Maharaj as "ignorance, stupidity, and insanity." 

That about covers it.

Regarding Maharaj's stance regarding "ignorance, stupidity, and insanity" and the Ultimate Sickness which they feed - which in turn generates the plethora of sicknesses which infect most societies around the globe - it might be asked, are those still relevant nowadays?

Yesterday, with Fahrenheit temperatures here continuing to stay in the mid-90's and higher, I turned on the local news to listen to the weather report and find out if there might be a chance of rain or if I needed to cycle the irrigation system which is keeping the flora alive on the property here.

Before the weather report began, several doctors and nurses were being interviewed about the surge in coronavirus cases in Texas which came about after the governor ignored the increasing toll after he "opened up the state." He announced five times in five days that he was "not worried because the hospitals across the state have plenty of available beds for patients if the number of infected people continues to increase." 

Parents may as well have joined in and told their children to "go play in the traffic since the nearby city of Houston has some of the best medical care available in the U.S. and if you are hit by a car then doctors will be available to treat you, if you survive the hit."

Now, the available beds are near zero. 

In the interviews offered before the weather forecasts, one doctor said this:

"We are fighting a two-fold battle. The first battle is with the coronavirus. The second battle is with ignorance" (what with people refusing to take even the slightest steps to avoid exposure and contamination.

Next, a nurse in another hospital said this:

"We are not fighting a virus as much as we are trying to fight stupidity."

 So yesterday, it was made clear in those interviews that two out of three of Maharaj's points are still relevant. Add in the governor's insanity and his conclusion that the thirty million people living in this state do not need to take preventive steps to avoid contracting the virus (because we have a lot of hospitals with a lot of beds) and then all three of the elements which Maharaj warned against are still at play nowadays and still generating chaos, misery, and suffering in the nearly-four decades since he took mahasamadhi on 8 September 1981.

Thus, the problem has been identified. Time to focus on the solution . . . on the treatment plan. How was it found here? 

Not by years of seeking off and on in religious venues. 

Not by seeking in supposedly spiritual venues and supposed spiritual places with supposedly spiritual people. 

And not even by reading the words of Maharaj, though his later talks did guide me to the portal behind which a clear perspective and an ability to differentiate the true from the false awaited, along with the freedom from ignorance and magical thinking which also awaited there.

Yet even with a couple of years of studying the words of Maharaj, clarity did not come. That came only after a vision brought the final clarity and final understandings which had been lacking. It has been explained thusly: 

Those familiar with "the journey" here know 

1. that it was far too long and far too arduous; and 

2. that it is a self-deception of the highest order to use the dismissive, rationalizing, justifying statement, "I had to do everything I did." 

A train wreck in New York left the tracks blocked; they remained that way for a period. Eventually, someone would have to come along and unblock the tracks if the journey from upstate to Manhattan was to be completed. The passengers who were involved in the train wreck cannot clear the tracks themselves. 

They were totally involved in the train wreck, first hand, but they will only know after investigation what caused the train wreck and the blockage that must be cleared. 

The same applies to persons whose relative existence has become a train wreck: 

Programming and conditioning and acculturation and domestication and brainwashing and indoctrination have left them blocked . . . blocked from seeing truth . . . blocked from seeing reality . . . and blocked from seeing Reality. 

They will remain that way for a period (or for an entire manifestation). 

If they are to complete the journey, someone will have to come along and unblock the obstructions (in their case, in their minds) because they are constantly involved in their own train wreck and they cannot clear the obstructions themselves. 

Specifically, they are totally involved in a train-wreck-of-an-existence, first hand, but they will only know after investigation what caused the wreck and the blockage and what all must be cleared away. 

Those familiar with "the journey" here also know that 

a. the stage was set early on to rebel against the programming, conditioning, etc.; 

b. that persons in authority eventually quelled the rebellion; and 

c. that the quelled rebellion blocked authenticity and blocked knowing the True Self and functioning thereas; 

The familiar also know 

d. that the subconscious drive to escape from the frustrating "sense of separation" and from the exasperating and maddening sense of being blocked from authenticity - took a serious toll; 

e. that exposure to hundreds and hundreds of sources - including all of what Maharaj disparagingly called "the Big Name Teachers" who are to be avoided - did nothing to remove the blockage; 

f. that finding the words of Maharaj began to remove the blockages somewhat (especially after exposure to the later non-religious, non-spiritual, purer Nisargan talks); 

g. that even the pointers received from Maharaj did not remove the blockages but did set the stage for turning back finally to the inner resource, the inner guru, that had been pointing out the culture's BS from early and 

h. did set the stage to receive the inner vision that revealed the three-leg journey (1) to manifestation and then (2) to Realization and then (3) back to reality with Reality overlaid upon it which has allowed for a sane and natural abidance, post-Realization, after having completed the third leg. 

[You may use the search tool at the upper right to find the full explanation of the three-legged journey and see why the path of the masses - like those train tracks in New York this morning - are blocked and preventing completion of "the journey." The fact: the non-Realized masses only complete one leg of the three-leg journey so they will never Realize and they will never abide sanely. So it is.] 

So Maharaj set the stage for the vision when eventually revealed the functioning of the totality and the understanding that unblocked all of the former obstacles and obstructions to seeing Truth and reality and Reality. 

Over the next few days, you will be invited to read the vision; to know that it made no sense after it first came; to understand that its message "hit like a lightning bolt" that brought the light and the explosive force that blasted away the final obstructions and blockages; 

that beyond its basic revelations regarding the non-dual teachings, many other more subtle parts of the teachings were only seen and recognized over a period of days and weeks and months of re-reading the vision; 

and that the entire three-legged journey can be understood by you now - with no more long and arduous seeking required - if you understand what the vision reveals.

the way that the seeker must "go back" and "reverse" and return the same way that you came; how the third leg allows for Reality to be overlaid on the relative; 

and how that allows for the remainder of the relative existence to happen in the style of your "Original Nature" and with an absence of the "ignorance, stupidity and insanity" that Maharaj said marks and mars the relative existence as experienced by the non-Realized masses. 

So what different perspectives came here via the vision? 

THE ADDITIONAL, VERY DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES WHICH CAME VIA THE VISION 

Those familiar with "floyd's journey" know that 

a. the stage was set early on to rebel against the programming, conditioning, etc.; 

b. that persons in authority eventually quelled the rebellion; and 

c. that the quelled rebellion blocked authenticity and blocked the ability to perceive clearly. The familiar also know 

d. that the subconscious drive to escape from the frustrating and exasperating and maddening sense of being blocked from the authenticity took a serious toll; 

e. that exposure to hundreds and hundreds of sources - including all of what Maharaj disparagingly called "the Big Name Teachers" who are to be avoided - did nothing to remove the blockage; 

f. that finding the words of Maharaj began to remove the blockages somewhat (especially after exposure to his later non-religious, non-spiritual, purer Nisargan talks); 

g. that even the pointers received from Maharaj did not remove all of the blockages (but did set the stage for turning back finally to the inner resource, the inner guru, that had been pointing out the culture's BS from early on); 

and 

h. set the stage to receive an inner vision which provided the understanding of the functioning of the totality and why the Ultimate Sickness manifests and why most versions of the Ultimate Medicine do not provide a viable treatment plan. 

When satsang was being offered here, or when seekers come for a non-dual retreat, what happens with them when the discussion of the vision unfolds is often exactly what happened with me as the understanding of the messages in the vision unfolded originally. There is almost always an "Aha!" kind of reaction to the clarity that comes with an understanding of the content of that vision. It was a "game-changer" here and has often a game-changer of seekers who have read it over the years and grasped the message or who have come here and heard it and grasped the message. 

The vision made clear that there are seven degrees of separation from reality among humans. The separation comes about during the initial "coming in process" (that is, during the process of manifesting-and-being-programmed-conditioned, etc.); therefore, there are seven specific steps during the "reversing" - the "going back" - which can move one away from body identification to full realization (that is, to full freedom from what Maharaj called "learned ignorance"). 

[Eventually, Maharaj would note that just conducting the first four of those steps and finding out who / what you are not would be enough. That understanding, in turn, made clear that - as Maharaj often said - attaining realization really is a fairly simple process. Once "the Absolute" and "realization" have been stripped of all of the conceptualized and exalted and illustrious and elevating and glorifying acclaim that has been attached to them over the centuries, then the simple process of manifesting and unmanifesting as illustrated in the vision can be seen and understood. There is nothing special about the manifestation, and the vision made most clear that there is nothing special about unmanifesting.] 

The vision made clear that if - at the third step - seekers do not stop playing any and all false roles (including their false religious and spiritual roles), then they will never move beyond the third of seven steps and they will never realize; in fact, when stuck at the third of seven steps, they will obviously never even reach the halfway point to realization. 

[That, in turn, made clear Maharaj's point that there are those who are standing in the dim light of dawn but are imaginings that they have completed the full journey and are now being bathed in the bright light of the noonday sun.] 

The vision made clear that nothing is born and that nothing dies and that all that is happening is a cycling of the energy-matter that has always existed. 

The vision made clear that, because energy-matter can neither be created nor destroyed, there is no creator and there is no destroyer. 

The vision made clear that if that is nothing created or destroyed, it is a fact that there is no "Creator" and no "Destroyer" and, thus most certainly, no need during the relative for a Sustainer. 

The vision made clear that manifesting and unmanifesting happen spontaneously and that neither involves any meaning or purpose at all. 

The vision made clear that there should be as little focusing on - and being concerned about - one's unmanifesting as there is about one's next breath. 

The vision made clear that there is no "one" to benefit from being religious, spiritual, virtuous, or "good" and that it is an understanding of the Oneness and Love which leads the realized away from any desire to harm anyone. 

[To some Subject-Object observers, the realized might appear to be "good" even as they reject the dualistic concept of "good vs. evil" and "moral vs. immoral." As far as explaining the non-realized's labeling of some people as "evil," it was seen via careful consideration of what happens during the vision and via what did not happen in the vision (namely, judgment, eternal reward vs. eternal punishment, eternal pain vs. eternal pleasure, etc.) that in the absence of there being any chance at all that the concepts of "good" and "evil" are valid, then the only other plausible explanation for what the masses call "evil acts" is offered by Maharaj who saw the problem of humanity as being rooted in "ignorance and stupidity and insanity." That understanding of actual "motivation and cause" eliminates any overly-simplistic, dualistic explanation for human conduct and also allows for understanding humanity's "real issues" which need to be addressed rather than dismissing any act that is thought to be unsavory as "evil."] 

Therefore, the vision also made clear that there is no post-dissolution reward or punishment. 

The vision made clear that the Second Law of Thermodynamics does accurately point to the non-dual fact that things merely come together spontaneously and that all things will eventually come apart spontaneously. All in between that is taken be "a life" is "much ado about nothing" among the non-realized who live in ignorance and insanity as a result of ignorant and insane programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, brainwashing and indoctrination. 

The vision made clear that fear is based in not understanding and that courage is based in the understanding of the functioning of the totality which follows realization (that is, the purging of ignorance). 

The vision made clear that body and mind and personality identification are all obstacles to realization and that each step which moves one away from those is a step which moves a seeker closer to realization. 

The vision made clear that manifesting, Realizing, abiding sanely and unmanifesting are all legs of what is, overall, a "four-part, four-leg journey." 

The vision made clear that abidance as one's Original Nature is sane and natural and that anything else is unnatural (including things deemed "supernatural" or "spiritual"). 

The vision made clear that while a guide or guru can be a temporary requirement for assisting one in reaching the arch - that is, for putting a seeker on the proper "path" and headed in the proper direction away from body identification alone - the movement through the steps to the final dissolution, to the total understanding, and to full realization did not happen in congregations or flocks or assemblies or groups or gatherings or meetings or in any venue that is not a natural one. 

The vision showed that most use needless and superfluous and gratuitous venues. (Those venues can now be seen to include churches; spiritual groups; temples; mosques; ashrams; cathedrals; synagogues; "houses of worship"; shrines; places on earth that some deem to be "special and holy and mystical"; groups that chant; groups around tables with captive audiences where the abnormal norm is to talk and talk and talk; groups with members who become emotionally-intoxicated and roll around on the floor during their services; groups that speak "in tongues" that they claim are "unknown, even to them"; groups that hum or chant; groups that ring "special" bells or hit "special bowls" with "special sticks" or who inhale "special" perfumed smoke and do things with "special" water; or in any other man-made structure or any man-designated place). 

The vision made clear that none of those unnatural and / or supposedly supernatural complications are necessary. 

In the vision, it was made clear that all happened privately, alone in a natural setting, not in any place made by man for the purpose of "worship" or "idolization" or "reverence" or "veneration" or for the purpose of showing off one's assigned or assumed religious and / or spiritual roles or for any other unnatural or supposedly-supernatural purpose. 

In the vision, it was made clear that all happened without the accompaniment of smoke screens and bells and whistles and earthly choirs or "heavenly" choirs or heavenly brothels. 

The vision made clear that realization requires no shouting or chanting or singing or screaming or babbling by other people because, in the vision, there were no other people. Preceding the vision, certain key pointers were offered, and then the understanding unfolded spontaneously via the content of the vision which came. 

The vision made clear not only exactly what is required for full realization (which is minimal) but also made clear what is not required (additions which, on this planet, are excessive and extreme and disproportionate to what, in the end, is a process that was shown in the vision to be exactly as Maharaj described: "simple"). 

The vision made clear that the Absolute (the so-called "Ultimate Reality" or "Great Reality") is actually nothing more than an all-pervasive "field of energy" in which pre-manifestation consciousness is at rest in the form of Awareness; and consciousness itself was shown to be, merely and simply, conscious-energy, energy which has, as one property, a propensity for "conscious-of-ness" if / when manifested. 

The vision showed that the Absolute is merely that "field of energy" from which consciousness can be drawn into manifestation. 

The vision also depicted the "field" to which consciousness returns during the unmanifesting. 

The vision revealed what the lowest, tiniest common "something" is (which all in this universe is and which all in all universes is and always has been). 

The vision showed that ALL is without beginning and without end with nothing ever having been "created," with nothing ever having been "destroyed," and, therefore, with nothing ever in need of an "Other-Worldly, All-Powerful (yet really inefficient) Sustainer." 

Therefore, in the vision, not once did a "Creator" or "Destroyer" or "Sustainer" appear. 

In the vision, all happened spontaneously and without any single cause or "causer" or "Causer." 

In the vision, nothing that happened had any unnatural or supernatural / religious / spiritual element. All happened naturally; hence, the incorporation of the Nisarga Yoga with the Direct Path Teaching Method that is used here.

THE EXPLANATION

If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.

Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of god in the past was of a weak god, an absentee god, A Santa Claus-type god, a mean, punishing, vindictive god, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring god whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to."

The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a god that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").

Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring god,' any supposed god that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'god' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part.

"That is, a non-narcissistic their god / their goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'god' and focus on the 'god as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you." 

Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:

"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"

--Yeshu'a (Jesus)

and 

"Heaven and earth shall fade away."

--Yeshu'a (Jesus)

and 

"Heaven and hell are not geographic places

but are states of mind, nothing more than

concepts dreamed up by men."

--Pope John Paul II 

"There is no hell."

--Pope Francis, the current pope

in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari,

a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record

teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium. 

[That said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional courage required to question the very existence of their institution in light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of billions of their members past and present.

And that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will they? Not likely. Why?

Because what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the international crime families which hold sway over the masses as criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major international crime families and which are the most influential and have the largest memberships?

The Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion followers) whose Vatican Bank worked for decades with the Mafia while laundering mob earnings (for a 15% all-profit charge by the Bank); Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers) like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)

With all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business, politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the driving forces at play.

The masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
