The Anatomy of Human Memory Storage: The Elemental Brain vs. the Non-Elemental Mind
or
The Natural Brain vs. the Never-Natural Mind
HOW TO (AND WHAT TO) REALIZE
Next, what is to be realized is
(1) the difference in the original natural, elemental brain including the natural, elemental storage and retrieval parts of the brain vs. the totally-unnatural, not-original content which been added into the storage and retrieval parts, that content now making up what is referred to as "the "mind"
and
(2) how the original, naturally-operating, elemental brain - because of an evolutionary process which allowed "newer parts" to develop and which, in turn, made it possible for "minds" to form - shifted from originally being an asset in terms of the survival of the human species to, now, being a liability in terms of the survival of specific humans and the survival of the human species as a whole.
To review the earlier explanation regarding the brain-mind conundrum and how the functioning of the two differ:
The brain is elemental and natural, as opposed to the mind which has become totally unnatural (especially in terms of the near-universal desire among the non-realized masses to be "supernatural" or "spiritual" or "other-worldly").
Again, early on, the adult human brain had a one-cup size, and the parts of the brain now referred to as the storage and retrieval parts - wherein information could be stored and from which information could be retrieved - did not exist.
Even after those evolved parts of the human brain manifested, there was no initial information stored in those parts (hence, "tabula rasa" or "blank tablet"); therefore, no “mind” existed, either.
Originally, therefore, human-like
“beings” had no "mind part" of the brain so they had no preconceived ideas or concepts or beliefs and no personality identifications and, thus, no predetermined agendas.
a. Originally, those early human-like “beings” abided under the auspices of the brain only.
b. Later, their descendants would abide under the auspices of a brain and a mind focused on survival.
c. Eventually, they would abide – as
is the case nowadays - under the auspices of a nonsense-filled, irrational mind
which is bent on self-destruction rather than survival. That "self-destructive mind content" is now capable of over-riding the "survival content / messaging" of the brain.
So, it was not until the adult human brain evolved during a period spanning many millennia from its original one-cup size to its present 3-1/2 cup size that any human ever had "a mind," that is, ever had those areas of the brain where bogus, false information could be stored and from which bogus, false information could be retrieved.
So a part of the brain is now
capable of storing and retrieving information, and once that part
became filled with nonsense via programming, conditioning, etc., nonsense-filled minds formed among the masses.
But earlier, for many years, the information stored in the mind and recalled on occasion was, in terms of the relative existence, an asset because it facilitated the survival of the species as it led humans to avoid ignorant, self-destructive behaviors.
The earliest version of "the mind" was originally an asset for humanity when it was filled with facts, such as when someone called “Thorson” witnessed someone called “Rickback” fall off a cliff and break into pieces on the rocks below.
Having witnessed that scenario and
having a mind part in the brain that could store the facts regarding what
humans would come to refer to as "the death" or “the demise" of
Rickback, Thorson was able to save in the mind-part of his brain the intuitive
message, “Take caution if near the edge of a cliff. The potential, if too close
to the edge, is an event which will not contribute to the survival of the
species"; furthermore, Thorson was able to pass that safe-guarding message to his neighbors and descendants.
Now, however, as a result of distorted and nonsensical programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, indoctrination and brainwashing, the mind content - as Maharaj made clear in multiple warnings - is a liability.
The reason that Maharaj suggested that “ . . . You should go back, reverse, to the source” and “Follow the same path by which you came” is because it is now the case that during the “coming in leg of the manifestation" that the teaching and learning and storing and retrieving of foolishness and learned ignorance is added to and accumulated in the mind.
It is during the stages of child programming, child conditioning, etc. when each child is exposed to the hand-me-down ignorance and insanity which is being passed down to all children and which relocates them mentally and emotionally to the Land of Suckerdom where most of them will spend the rest of the manifestation.
The “realization” process, Maharaj said, is about nothing more than a human taking the steps required to be free of all belief in the learned ignorance which she or he has been taught and free of all of the past influences which set personality disorders and neuroses and psychoses into place.
It has been shown repeatedly on this site that "The Causes of the Ultimate Sickness" become "The Symptoms of the Ultimate Sickness" to the degree that "The Causes" (distorted and nonsensical programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, indoctrination and brainwashing) result in the passing down from one generation to the next the distortion-and-nonsense-based symptoms of the Sickness, three of which which Maharaj identified as "ignorance, stupidity, and insanity."
Once the symptoms manifest in one
generation, then those symptoms of the Sickness will be passed down to the next
generation, and the next, and the next, ad infinitum; thus, the
transmission of the Ultimate Sickness now involves almost all among the masses . . .
all of whom happen to be entrapped in a cycle of distortion and nonsense and and
all of whom are now engaging in nothing less than the widespread dissemination of ignorance - including what Maharaj called "learned ignorance"
and
all of whom are unaware of how truly Sick they are
and
all of whom are completely awareness of how nonsensical their thoughts and words and actions actually are.
You may have heard someone report something like this: "Well, my son brought home 'the crud' from school, then he passed on the sickness to his brother and sister, then they passed the illness to me, and then I passed it on to my husband. Now we all have 'the crud' and are as sick as can be."
The same happens with the Ultimate Crud / the Ultimate Sickness except that it now starts not with children passing a sickness down to adults but with the adults passing the Sickness down to children (and to other adults as well).
What do their distorted and nonsensical programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, indoctrination and brainwashing generate? A "crud"-filled mind, the content of which is now passed down to their children and also passed down to everyone else who listens to their nonsense and who accepts their lies and distortions and delusions and illusions as fact.
Thus, this is a key point in understanding what the Sickness is about and how it is to be treated:
If persons were to all become reasonable and rationale in a flash, they would see that the greatest challenge being faced but ignored all around the globe is persons being fooled and then all acting the way that those playing the role of "The Complete Fool" act.
Maharaj said: "There is no such thing as peace of mind.”
I added: “There is only peace if you are out of your mind” which is actually “their mind” which has been “transplanted” into your head.
The above shows both what is to be realized and why steps should be taken to be freed from being driven unconsciously and subconsciously by the nonsense and of the mind and thereafter to abide under the auspices of a fully awake and fully aware and fully conscious elemental brain.
The how to realize involves, as Maharaj said - giving up all belief in the learned ignorance which is stored in the storage and retrieval parts of the brain and which make up what is called "the mind."
Therein lies his definition of "realization" which does not involve any supposedly lofty, towering, soaring, imperial, supreme, or noble other-worldly activity. It simply involves a willingness to stop believing in all of the ignorant BS which you have heard or read or which were taught and learned and accepted based on blind faith alone and without any objective questioning at all.
And what is the mind which has shifted from functioning as a relative existence asset to functioning as a total
relative existence liability? It is simply a collection of . . .
false ideas, notions, concepts, thoughts, impressions, images, opinions, views, theories, and learned ignorance (a.k.a., supposed “knowledge”), all of which can be summarized in a single word: “beliefs.”
Want to be free of being driven subconsciously and unconsciously by the nonsense which has been taught and is now makes up "a mind"? It’s really a simple process:
Simply abandon all beliefs and allow the mind to dissolve into what Maharaj called a “zero concepts” state (which is actually a zero beliefs state).
