REGARDING THE BRAIN AND MIND, WHICH IS TRULY ELEMENTAL AND NATURAL?

Yesterday’s post was offered with the assumptions that (a) most persons understand the different in what is elemental and what is not and that (b) most persons now understand that there are not 4 elements or 5 elements but that they are actually 118 elements.

What an erroneous assumption.

Some responses yesterday showed that a post such as the one offered here yesterday is useless if a majority of people do not even understand something as basic as “what elements really are” and “what elements are not.”

For thousands of years, references have long been made to “the four elements” (earth, water, fire, and air). Hinduism has long referenced “five elements” (those four plus space). Science nowadays identifies a total of neither 4 elements nor 5 elements but a total of 118 elements.

Of those elements, hydrogen is the most abundant, making up about 75% of all matter. Helium makes up a significant portion of the remaining matter. (Of course those are the most abundant because they were the two earliest elements formed during the initial “Big Bang” event which resulted in what is now called “this universe.”)

Oxygen is the third-most abundant element. Most of the other 115 are fairly rare in comparison.

Anne Marie Helmenstine, Ph.D. shared information about what the most abundant elements in the human body are, which was the focus of yesterday’s post which distinguished between what is elemental and what is not and between the elemental brain and the non-elemental “mind.”

She wrote: The most abundant element in the human body is oxygen, making up about 65% of the weight of each human. Carbon is the second-most abundant in the human body, making up 18% of the body. Although you have more hydrogen atoms than any other type of element, the mass of a hydrogen atom is so much less than that of other elements that its abundance comes in third at 10% by mass.

Elements such as hydrogen can actually be seen via use of a transmission electron microscope. All of the elements are real, physical, tangible, material, and concrete; they are not conceptual, theoretical, notional, non-realistic, metaphysical (as opposed to physical), immaterial, and intangible.

When viewing any object under an electron microscope, one is provided visual evidence of why, at the heart of the non-dual understanding, is this pointer:

Nothing is as it appears to be. The perception of any physical object which is viewed in actually a mis-perception. Again, nothing is it appears to be.

Consider:

This is what most people think “water” looks like:

 

Actually, that which water is - whether viewed in the form of an ice cube, a river, an ocean, rain, streams, puddles, snow, hail, etc., etc., etc. - is nothing like the extensive variety of the ways in which water can “appear” to be.

Water is made of two hydrogen atoms and one helium atom combined. Under an electron microscope, one can see what water actually is as opposed to what it appears to be:

Is it clear how erroneous every human perception is? Is the difference in appearance and reality clearer?

And that is how erroneous persons are who believe that the mind is elemental.

So, to review certain pointers offered yesterday with, hopefully, a new understanding of the discussion above regarding elements:

In the brain there are also five elemental plant food parts which - combined and working in unison - can store and sometimes retrieve information.

Conversely, the mind is not an elemental plant food part of the brain.

The brain is an organ with very high water content and a large amount of fat  (which is nearly 60% of the brain). Water is elemental and fat is elemental. Both can be seen by the naked eye and touched. They are real.

The "mind" is not elemental and cannot be seen by the naked eye or even with an electron microscope. It is not real.

The brain can be touched, by a surgeon for example; the mind cannot be touched.

The mind is not elemental but is a non-concrete, abstract cluster or collection or assortment of distorted views ans thoughts and opinions and concepts beliefs.

The non-elemental “mind” forms as information is placed inside certain parts of the elemental brain.

The mind only “exists” as an abstract collection of thoughts and ideas and notions and concepts, etc. (a.k.a., "beliefs") but has no physical or elemental or concrete existence; thus, the mind is totally conceptual, theoretical, notional, non-realistic, metaphysical (as opposed to physical), immaterial, non-elemental and intangible; therefore, it is unnatural, not natural.

The brain and its parts can be touched.

The mind cannot be touched and is just another imaginary concept which those driven by ignorance have dreamed up and erroneously believe exists literally within the physical body.

That belief is as bogus as the fictional concept of a "soul" which many also believe to be literally inside every person and is "something" that is invisible but is real and concrete and everlasting. 

Those who talk about “the mind” or “the soul” do not really believe that those are physically and literally inside them. If they did, then some of them would say to a surgeon,

“I want you to take your scalpel and start cutting my brain apart as much as you need to in order to find my mind and take a picture of it”

or

Surely a true believer would say “I’m willing to sacrifice myself to prove to all of humanity that we do have a real, everlasting soul within us, so to my surgeon I say, ‘I want you to take your scalpel and cut up ever centimeter of my body until you find my soul and take a picture of it’.”

That will never happen because even the most fanatical believers do not have enough confidence to make such requests; therefore, sometimes BS'ers don't really believe their own BS which they are constantly spreading.

In fact, they tell us how wonderful eternal life is post-manifestation for true believers, yet none of them want to die right now and begin enjoying that wonderful supposedly eternal life right now. To the contrary, they pray regularly for their health and for their body to be healed and to be strengthened and for them to be made well if sick.

At any rate, maybe the distorted beliefs about what is elemental and what is not and about appearances being real when they are not, might be somewhat clearer.

THE EXPLANATION

If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.

Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of god in the past was of a weak god, an absentee god, A Santa Claus-type god, a mean, punishing, vindictive god, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring god whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to."

The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a god that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").

Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring god,' any supposed god that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'god' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part.

"That is, a non-narcissistic their god / their goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'god' and focus on the 'god as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you." 

Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:

"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"

and 

"Heaven and hell are not geographic places

but are states of mind, nothing more than

concepts dreamed up by men."

in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari,

a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record

teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium.

[That said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional courage required to question the very existence of their institution in light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of billions of their members past and present.

And that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will they? Not likely. Why?

Because what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the international crime families which hold sway over the masses as criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major international crime families and which are the most influential and have the largest memberships?

The Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion followers) whose Vatican Bank worked for decades with the Mafia while laundering mob earnings (for a 15% all-profit charge by the Bank); Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers) like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)

With all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business, politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the driving forces at play.

The masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
