Here, there is nothing that is believed, so there is no one here who wants you to believe anything, either. Here, the invitation is to be free of all that you have been programmed, conditioned, acculturated, and domesticated to believe so that you can be free, period.

Seems you’d have to be out of touch to claim nothing external can affect you. Also, your statements are confusing about living as the absolute or living naturally – witnessing real or witnessing objects. Since I realized I only witness purely, so why say s-o witnessing is not a problem. It is THE problem when it comes to humans that have not realized. Explain.

F.: As you command. First, the only thing “internal” that can affect the way that the Realized feel is organic…is elemental. Among the non-Realized, that which is internal and affects disposition or “the humours” can involve the elemental and / or the “mind” (itself a distortion-filled storage compartment within the elemental brain).

One of Maharaj’s pointers seems to contradict certain pointers offered here when he said, “Mind-flow is always external, never internal.” Yet the seeming contradiction ends when you read his clarification: “In the inward ‘journey,’ that external mind-flow comes to a complete halt.”

It is in that pre-journey, co-dependent condition that internals appear to be external, even causing persons to think they see a world, to believe that they are in it, and to believe it is as they see it. It is also in that pre-journey, co-dependent condition that internals appear to be external because the “mind” and the “ego” prefer to focus on externals and credit or blame them for whatever the internal state is:

"He / she made me happy”; or “he / she made me sad”; or “he / she makes me mad.” It is in that pre-journey condition that the way a person “feels” (actually, “emotes”) only appears to have something to do with externals such as people and places and things; however, it is actually the bogus content of the “mind” that sets off internal angst that is assumed to have been triggered by an external source.

Further, what you really have not yet understood when you speak of abiding as the Absolute vs. abiding naturally is the difference-without-difference in regards to the THAT-ness and the Am-ness.

To abide naturally is to abide as the presently manifested consciousness which was THAT prior to manifestation and is a form of THAT now and which shall be THAT post-manifestation. What IS has also “been” and shall forever “be.”

Shared here before is this pointer: You Are That Which Is, Was, and Shall Be, devoid of body or mind or personality when unmanifested and capable, via Full Realization, of being free of body identification and a corrupted “mind” and personas while manifested.

What you are not is what you appear to be or assume to be or try to be or have been told you are.

Water (H20) can rise in the “form” of vapor (H20) and form clouds (H20) from which H20 can eventually fall back to earth as hail (H20) or snow (H20) or sleet (H20) or rain (H20) and can form a snow drift (H20), ice (H20), a rivulet (H20), a brook (H20), a stream (H20), a streamlet (H20), a creek (H20), a river (H20), a lake (H20), an ocean (H20), etc.

To witness “rainfall” in a subject-object fashion is natural; however, it would be ignorant / unnatural to claim that it is something different from that which sleet and hail and snow are. All of that is H20, but even informed persons might claim each is a different form of one thing: H20.

In fact, the fully informed will understand that form is not substance, that appearance is not actual. So, too, do the Realized know the difference in form and substance, in appearance and real. Yet that cannot prevent the supposed “forms” from appearing before the eyes and being either misunderstood or understood. Pure witnessing does not stop S-O witnessing. It does end misperceptions regarding what is supposedly seen.

For you to suggest that, post-Realization, only Pure Witnessing happens would suggest that the first time you approach a car that is stopped at a red light, you will see yourself as being at-one with the car. Ignoring form, that will be the case since you will plow right into the back of the car in front of you because you—being so Realized—no longer see form. Please.

Realization does not negate the relative manifestation, only the misperceiving that goes on among the non-Realized masses. S-O witnessing must continue. It simply continues without judgment or deception or misperception.

A squirrel comes by daily and pauses to visit (actually, to put an eye on this elemental body and gawk with what is becoming more frequently a near-derisive look) as I emulate the sounds of a squirrel that is in the mood for mating.

He looks at this body and hears the sounds coming from it and glares from behind the fence at this form that is a few feet away—trying to distinguish the form it is seeing from the “substance”—in this case, the substance being the essence of that which the squirrel-manifested consciousness is spontaneously driven to seek this time of year.

So the squirrel stares at this form, knowing something does not seem quite “right,” knowing that something is not corresponding “rightly” regarding the form it is witnessing in a S-O fashion with the substance that it is familiar with and which it would enjoy. Its initial attraction a week ago has recently deteriorated into what appears to be more of a detached disdain—

seeming to have tired of being “fooled” initially but still willing to humor this form’s silly sounds with a few moments of attention.

How many persons can witness so accurately and detect discontinuity? How many persons are tired of being fooled as opposed to the number who are still willing to fight to the finish to defend beliefs that were heard coming from the forms that fooled them in the past?

How many persons cannot perceive even as accurately as a pea-size-brained squirrel? How many prefer to cling to the beliefs that make fools of them still?

How many times during your own relative existence have you believed that the sounds coming from human forms were telling you the truth, only to find later that you had been deceived by them?

How many spoke to you of your nation's illustrious history, of their god or gods, of the deep feelings they have for you, of how endless their love of you shall be? How much of that proved to be true? Is your ability to perceive even as developed as that of the squirrel that is not being fooled at all by the sounds coming from this form?

Louise wrote: “Recently, there was just this single view: the sense of “self” and “other” like transparent shells. This is all “we” really are, isn’t it? What appears to distinguish and define is really just this mix of flavourings – personality and perceived preferences? When these are seen as additives, what remains?”

The reply: If they are seen as additives and purged, then nothing remains except a series of lovely micro-seconds, one after another, all rolling along spontaneously until the end of the manifestation.

As long as the consciousness is manifest, then S-O witnessing must continue, even as misperceiving is eliminated when pure witnessing happens alongside, just as the THAT-ness and the Am-ness happen throughout the remainder of the post-Realization manifestation, "not" as “two” but as one.

The same applies with witnessing: having seen THAT does not preclude seeing “this” and “that”; however, it does preclude seeing “this” and “that” as something they are not.

He tried a religious version of the Medicine, a Spiritual version of the Medicine, and finally settled on a version which addressed to Sickness at its core . . . at the mental and emotional level.


“Dangerous” is a term that can only apply during the relative existence, but of those who do commit suicide, for example, how many shoot themselves in the foot over and over until they “bleed out”? None. They shoot themselves in the head. Why? In order to try to stop the noise - to try to stop the chatter of a thousand monkeys – to stop the noisy mind which is the area that stores the ideas, notions, concepts, mind-stuff, etc. which drives them into the depths of insanity.

And what are those ideas, notions, concepts, etc. called, collectively? "Their beliefs." The irony? They are not their beliefs at all. They are the beliefs of “others” that were set in place via programming, conditioning, etc. and which persons then think are their own.

And what are those beliefs rooted in, and what reinforces those beliefs and convinces persons that they are sacred and worth fighting over and even sometimes worth dying for? Blind faith.
