Received from Kentucky, U.S.A., regarding the topic: “I know many people who identify clearly their purpose in life.”

F.: You know many persons/personas whose egos claim a purpose. Pure (or re-purified) consciousness knows the false; ego speaks the false and believes it to be truth. Persons cannot speak for they are illusions. What you think you are hearing from persons/illusions must also be illusions/delusions.

To continue, nothing other than Realization is “helpful” to anyone, and even then only in the relative. Also, it is each that must follow the “path” to Realization…alone. If one realizes, the bliss shall come. If one does not, the bliss shall not come. Since that is an individual process, WHO (what ego-state) believes that her/his purpose is to offer some encompassing help to the masses, to the world, when Realization can only come to one person at a time? All of the world’s religions combined haven’t changed the world’s propensity for generating insane conduct that persons call “harmful.” Ideologies haven’t changed the world’s propensity for generating insane conduct that persons call “harmful.” No philosophies have changed the world’s propensity for generating insane conduct that persons call “harmful.” No spiritual movements have changed the world’s propensity for generating insane conduct that persons call “harmful.” Advaita Vedanta hasn’t changed the world’s propensity for generating insane conduct that persons call “harmful.” The work to solve the mystery of the missing mission might have some creditability if anyone or any teaching had ever influenced a permanent shift away from humankind’s insanity, but even one of the best-known teachers, Christ, tried to offer the Advaita teaching publicly to the masses and they killed him for it. 2000 years later, the world still does not understand his Advaita message, so they are buying into distorted misrepresentations instead. WHO would claim that distortions and misrepresentations can “help”?

His words have been studied more than any other, yet his efforts have produced no meaningful or purposeful change in the world. His message is still misunderstood to this day and the masses (including his “followers”) are still lost in the delusions of duality that he warned against. Who, but an Advaitan, understands, “When you speak of me, speak of me as I AM”? Who, but an Advaitan, understands, “Before Abraham was, I AM”? While millions of his followers work to avoid hell and to earn heaven, they ignore the fact that he said, “No one shall ever see the kingdom of heaven—it’s within” and that “heaven and earth shall fade away.” While millions will fight to defend their belief that his efforts had meaning, how could efforts have meaning if even the most ardent supporters haven’t a clue what he was talking about?

How has the world changed? Where is any meaning or purpose if nothing has changed as a result of those most widely publicized “best efforts”? Some have asked in the past, “Well aren’t people being helped, even if the world is not?” If distortions of a teaching are generating more false roles, more egomania, more belief in “separation,” more belief in dualities (even as followers read that “a dual-minded person is unstable in all ways”), where is any help? When the most dedicated followers continue to be fixated at only the third step of a Seven-Step Journey to Reality, where is any help or purpose or meaning for those still completely out of touch with reality (otherwise called “insane”)?

For those still wanting a purpose or still wanting to know some grand meaning to share so they can assume the ego-states of “The Helper” or “The Answer Man” or “The Answer Woman,” complete the individual “journey” to Realization, eliminate ego and ego-states, and then see what happens to the talk of “meaning and purpose” that ego-states spawn. Yet persons will fight—literally to their “death”—to preserve their ego and ego-states. The ego wants to buy into such concepts as, “O what a noble creature is man. O how lofty is his purpose, O how meaningful his life.” In fact, humans are the least noble thing walking about because they are the most mutated thing on the planet, that is, the most removed from their original “form” which had eight legs and an outer shell and no “purpose.” Those ancestors foraged about and ate to survive while the consciousness was manifested. Nothing about their existence was noble or meaningful or purposeful. They were not frustrated or up all night either. Yet now, the mutants called “humans” are the only corrupted and corrupting element on earth; the only thing on earth that is warped by mental, spiritual and emotional intoxication; the most frustrated and angry thing on earth as a result of supernatural and unnatural living and magical thinking and the resulting separation from reality; the only thing on earth that practices war, mass murder, and genocide; and the only thing that lives unnaturally. Should you disagree, contrast the natural lifestyles of animals living in their natural habitat with the insane lifestyles of humans living in their communities. What a blissful awareness realization becomes, to know that You Are not that and then to be free, once and for all, of the influences of such insanity.

Yet it is still believed by persons that, even with their contaminated consciousness and tainted “minds,” they should be able to assign meaning and purpose to what resulted automatically from nothing more than an act of friction. “WHO wants to believe that?” When all the false is recognized as being false, when all the mystical knowledge and the magical thinking are seen to have been nothing more than learned ignorance, when it is realized how thoroughly one was fooled all along, and when the laughter dies down after seeing the insanity of it all, then spontaneous, sane, AS IF living happens. The days are then marked by peace, and the nights are marked by restful, delta-level sleep. And should moments in a day or night not be so marked, the happenings are witnessed without attachment, feelings can rise and fall away, and no emotional intoxication results. Please enter into the silence of contemplation. [To be continued]
