F.: [Continued from yesterday’s discussion of the search for power and Power among the non-Realized. Links are embedded for those who seek the complete explanation.] Recently-elected President Obama is said by some to be “the most powerful man on the planet,” but he doesn’t have the power to go for a quiet, private walk in the park with his daughters. And he misses it and wants it.
But the least powerful of all are the 6 billion+ who believe that they already have the most Power available, yet they do not have the power to transition the relative existence naturally, instead having been set up to think and talk and behave in a most unnatural, supernatural, magical manner.
With their innate ability to live naturally having been stripped away from them early on, they cannot function naturally but think they must give this, burn that, ring this, worship that, give to that, sacrifice this, bow now, rise later, sit this way, behave that way, and talk the talk they have been programmed to talk.
Talk, read, bow, burn, sprinkle, knell, stand, eat body and drink blood or spill the blood of those with different beliefs. If only there were no beliefs, what would there be to debate, to argue, to fight about, to kill over.
Beliefs, beliefs, beliefs, leaving them religiously and spiritually intoxicated, drunk as a result of living under the influence of their mysteries and magical concepts and dependencies, desiring power here and Power there. If they could but take the seven steps to go back, they would see what I have seen and be done with it all.
But since they have not, they are left in such a helpless condition after being programmed to believe that they cannot make it happily through this existence without their Power(s) that they cannot pull off what other species accomplish—namely, living naturally—even when some of those other species that are functioning quite well and quite naturally have a brain that is only a little larger that the head of a pin.
If the non-Realized could but stand on THAT platform and see for infinity and know all that has been, as well as all that never was, their delusional thoughts and words and deeds could end. But they do not have that “power” (that is, ability), having settled for their never-to-be-questioned belief in their fictional Power instead.
Yet they have no clue at all of where they truly were prior to conception; they misunderstand and thus believe in birth (and even “rebirth” by some); they have been fooled and thus believe they have at their beck and call “A Power” who might well give them whatever they beg and plead and pray for;
they believe that they have an empowering god who is capable of loving them unconditionally but who also has some conditions that—if not adhered too—will cause that god to subject them to agony and pain and suffering. And they see not the contradiction therein.
Those types are so powerless in their attachment to “Power” (and in their quest to please “A Power” from whom they might receive rewards both now and later) that they live in a restrictive, unnatural/supernatural fashion; and because they believe they were “born,” the fear or preoccupation with “death” and continuity is never far away.
They have no power to live naturally, to just be…unencumbered by fear or anxiety…unattached to the relative storms swirling about around them. They are engaged in people-pleasing to stay in the good graces of the fellow members of their cults or sky-cults.
They are also engaged in god-pleasing to assure that what they think was born shall have continuity even post “death” and that eternal reward and joy shall be theirs. They are so powerless in that quest that they tolerate, and even ennoble, suffering now in order to gain freedom from suffering “later.”
The Realized have the ability to enjoy “rewards” now—the "rewards" of peace, of happiness, of freedom. They are the “rewards” of having gone back seven steps and of having seen and understood the totality. The non-Realized cannot understand that true freedom requires freedom from all of the nonsense mentioned above, including freedom from attachment to “worldly power” and freedom from attachment to “other worldly Power.”
What an irony which billions are blind to, believing that what they think is giving them power is really disempowering them. If only they could be free of the programming and acculturation that has led them to believe in the birth principle, then they could be free to be joyous at the only moment that can happen: NOW.
NOW, not later. Later, there will only remain the source…the awareness that is not aware of. Joy and bliss cannot happen later and cannot be known later.
NOW is the time for that, but such joy and bliss can only manifest after “the circular journey” had happened, after the seven-step ”journey” has been completed and Truth has been seen, and after the pure consciousness knows ItSelf and the real source of ItSelf…the source of what the masses call “life.”
