TODAY’S CONSIDERATIONS

A child in the No-Knowing State is modeling the type of relative existence which should be the sole objective of every adult-age, non-dual seeker a type of relative existence which is the result of reaching the non-dual understanding.

During the period before the child began to ‘know”; and before the child began to have accumulated “knowledge” (a.k.a., “learned ignorance,” per Maharaj) forced upon it; and before the child became inundated with a flood of nonsense by way of being programmed, conditioned, acculturated, domesticated, indoctrinated, and brainwashed; and before the child came to believe in body identification;

and before the child began to believe in the “I am this" or "I am that” identifications / labels which are stored in the mind; and before the child developed multiple personalities in an effort to negotiate the insane environments in the home and in schools and in its society; and before those personality identifications led to personality disorders and neuroses and even psychoses; and before all of that, the child was functioning in a no-labels, non-dual, zero concepts, no-ignorance, no-insanity manner.

In the previous post, Prince Ea modeled the non-dual understanding regarding personality / label assignment and assumption: never follow the words “I am” with any noun or adjective.

[But what of the summative statement, “I AM THAT; I AM” which follows the words "I AM" with "THAT"? The THAT is seen via the SELF-Inquiry method. Maharaj eventually came to understand that there is no self or SELF, so “it is enough,” he said, “to know what you are not.”]

OF BODY IDENTIFICATION

Of the body, Maharaj said: “I am conscious of not having a body.” See? The body cannot know itself. The consciousness can know itself if unblocked and if in touch with the awareness which allows for the differentiation of true and false.

Thus, he said: “There is no 'I' apart from the body, nor the world. The three appear and disappear together. At the root is the sense 'I am'. Go beyond it.” Go beyond it? Yes.

Why waste time and energy, and why set yourself to appear to be a freak to the masses by going about chanting the mantra, “Ommmmmm . . . I am not the body. Ommmmmm . . . I am not the body. Ommmmmm . . . I am not the body. Ommmmmm”?

Maharaj: “The idea: 'I-am-not-the-body' is merely an antidote to the idea 'I-am-the-body' which is false.” If the false is seen to be false, that is “enough” according to Maharaj.

OF MIND IDENTIFICATION

As for being free of the ideas and concepts and notions and learned ignorance (a.k.a., “beliefs) stored in then mind, Maharaj said: "There is no such thing as a mind," period, and "I have no mind . . . ."

Want to be free of the endless machinations of the mind? Maharaj advised:

"Reach a state of zero-concepts."

"As to my mind, I have no such thing. There is consciousness in which everything happens."

"I am double dead: not only am I dead to my body, but to my mind, too."

"I find I have lost the mind irretrievably."

So, how to end the mind, the entire content of which can all be summarized with the term, “one’s beliefs”? Abandon all beliefs. No beliefs? No mind. No mind? No stone walls. No stone walls? Freedom.

OF PERSONALITY IDENTIFICATIONS

Maharaj: “When you believe yourself to be a person, you see persons everywhere. In reality there are no persons, only threads of memories and habits. At the moment of realisation the person ceases.”

The false concepts of “personhood” or “personal identities” or a “Personal Identity,” etc. block any opportunity to function once again with the unblocked consciousness which was present during “The Child No-Knowing State” and blocks any opportunity for awareness to become aware of awareness and aware of all which is false and all which is true. Belief in such false concepts blocks the ability to abide as a child does: with an unencumbered sense of merely being as opposed to being encumbered with beliefs about “being this” or “being that” and thereafter being driven to cater unconsciously to the subconscious, hidden agendas of each and every personality which has been assigned or assumed.

Maharaj: “'I-am-so-and-so' obscures the changeless state of pure awareness and makes us believe that we are born to suffer and to die.”

In the previous post, Prince Ea said, “I am not black. You are not white.”

Precisely. And in the use of that statement, he introduced one of the valid uses of the word “I.” “I” can be a word used appropriately when the universal, unblocked, consciousness speaks.

For example: “I am not black.”

Consciousness is energy, and energy is not black. “I” can be used temporary for the sake of passing along non-dual understandings to point to the composite unity, to a triad of “an elemental plant food body which is circulating both air and conscious energy.”

For example, “For the sake of discussion only, I might say, ‘I am not Floyd’.” Or “Considering where you are on the 'path,’ it might be said to you for clarification at this point that ‘I am not floyd.' What is ‘viewable,’ and what you take to be you or me, is only a temporarily-manifested composite unity.”

But what can never be said with any accuracy is “I am this” or “I am that”; moreover, because that speck of consciousness called “Maharaj” said “It is enough to know what you are not,” then years of effort spent focusing on “I AM . . . THAT” is also diversionary and unnecessary to be free of ignorance and to be restored to sanity.

If that is understood, then there will be no “I am a wife” or “I am a husband,” and if there is no “I am a wife” or “I am a husband,” then than can be no conflict-and-misery-inducing belief that “I am a super wife” or “I am a super husband.” There can be no sense of different-from-ment, and if there is no sense of different-from-ment, then there can be no sense of better-than-ment.

And if there were no sense of better-than-ment, then there would be no more Dylann Roofs who are raised to believe in the concept of “white supremacy”; and if there were no belief in the concept of “white supremacy,” then there would be no concept of “black inferiority.” Then, there would be no one with the belief that “I have the right to kill blacks if I want to because they are different from, less than, and inferior.”

And if that were the case, what impact might that have on this statistic: “Young black men were nine times more likely than other Americans to be killed by police officers in 2015”? And if all labeling ended, then all speech would be far more accurate.

What sense would it make for the consciousness to say, “I am hot” or “I am cold”? It would be impossible for that to happen. Energy does not register temperature. That is why, when my Cherokee grandmother was asked, “How can you stand to live in a house with no air conditioning and no heat, except for a wood-burning stove, and never complain?” she responded, “When it is hot it is hot and when it is cold it is cold.”

Of course that answer led many to believe that “she has finally lost all mental abilities.” But actually the consciousness was revealing a far deeper understanding via the manifest wisdom.

The “no-labels” understanding preempts all such statements as

those in the whining, Goldilocks category

(“I am too hot” or “I am too cold”)

and

those in the arrogance-based category

(“I am highly successful” or “I am the best-looking person in the group”)

and

those in the upgrading category

(“I am the best you’ll ever come across” or “I am a super wife and deserve nothing less than a super husband” or “I am a super husband and deserve nothing less than a super wife”)

and

those in the downgrading category

("I am so bad that I deserve to be beaten" or "I am worthless" or "I'll never be able to meet my basic survival needs so I'll always have to be dependent on someone and co-dependent with someone")

as well as all other comments which are based in duality and which, therefore, lead to a sense of different-from which then always leads to a sense of better-than which in turn leads - as Prince Ea said in the last post - to conflict and fighting and wars.

What is enough? A sense of lightness for the remainder of the manifestation? Or the remainder of the manifestation spent in an endless quest for "Enlightenment" and a "Special, Self Identification"?

To be continued.

Please enter into the silence of contemplation.

Five Free eBooks

Compliments of Andy Gugar, Jr.,
the following eBooks are available without charge for you or for friends:

I.
"GOOD vs. EVIL?" or "IGNORANCE, STUPIDITY, and INSANITY?"

The content of this eBook deals with one of the most common but erroneous beliefs that the non-Realized masses cling to and which they will fight about (and even kill over), namely, that there is a planet-wide duel going on between “the forces of good and evil” in the universe.

Either (1) the ancient view is spot on: that the "ills of the planet" are rooted in evil people, in people not being religious enough or spiritual enough, and are caused solely by bad morality; or, (2) the "ills of the planet" are rooted in ignorance, stupidity and insanity and "being good" or "being moral" does not put an end to ignorance, does not eliminate stupidity, and does not treat insanity in any way.

II.
"THE VISION"

Comments regarding the free eBook entitled “THE VISION”:

“My thanks to you and Andy.” – Andrew “Mac” McMaster

“Thanks so much for the book! And, by the way, it is brilliant and the most effective pointing that you have done. It has served to help clear the remaining blockages.” – Stan Cross

“Greatly appreciate having “THE VISION” added to my Henderson resource library that is situated on the right side of my bed for easy access! Eternally grateful for what was received and what was given.” – Robert Rigby

“‘THE VISION’ is such a well-written, condensed version of the Nisarga Yoga approach to understanding and enjoying Reality that I feel it can serve as a must-read ‘meditation guide’ for all earnest seekers.” – Andy Gugar, Jr.

III.
"Sapolsky, Maharaj, and the Non-Dual Teachings"

Dr. Robert Maurice Sapolsky is an American neuroendocrinologist; a professor of biology, neuroscience, and neurosurgery at Stanford University; a researcher; an author; and a Research Associate at the National Museums of Kenya.

There is much that a non-dualist or Advaitin or Nisargan can relate to by comparing and contrasting what Sapolsky reveals about the way certain troops of baboons live in Africa with the way that humans abide all around the globe.

This 152-page eBook catalogues the common, non-dual message shared by Sapolsky and Maharaj and reveals the ways that Sapolsky’s scientific research supports the non-dual pointers offered by Maharaj.

IV.
Seeking

In “PART ONE” it will be seen that most persons on the planet are not seeking, and most will never seek, but for those who are seeking, most will face several obstacles:

In “PART TWO” of this book, it will be seen why many criticized Maharaj for “changing his message in his later talks.” It will be seen that the changes were not about changing the message per se as much as about changing his methodology as he experimented with one version of the Ultimate Medicine after another in order to try to find an effective means for addressing the Ultimate Sickness.

He tried a religious version of the Medicine, a Spiritual version of the Medicine, and finally settled on a version which addressed to Sickness at its core . . . at the mental and emotional level.

V.
"THE MOST DANGEROUS BELIEF OF ALL"

“Dangerous” is a term that can only apply during the relative existence, but of those who do commit suicide, for example, how many shoot themselves in the foot over and over until they “bleed out”? None. They shoot themselves in the head. Why? In order to try to stop the noise - to try to stop the chatter of a thousand monkeys – to stop the noisy mind which is the area that stores the ideas, notions, concepts, mind-stuff, etc. which drives them into the depths of insanity.

And what are those ideas, notions, concepts, etc. called, collectively? "Their beliefs." The irony? They are not their beliefs at all. They are the beliefs of “others” that were set in place via programming, conditioning, etc. and which persons then think are their own.

And what are those beliefs rooted in, and what reinforces those beliefs and convinces persons that they are sacred and worth fighting over and even sometimes worth dying for? Blind faith.

This 337-page eBook discusses those issues in detail.
