TODAY'S CONSIDERATIONS
The prerequisite for being freed from the bondage of being deprived of the opportunity to enjoy unconditional happiness is a willingness to see and admit that one's current perspectives are all warped; to be willing to abandon all warped perspectives; and to seek a totally different perspective instead.
That different perspective is what exists in a no-personal-identity state which eliminates the personality traits / defects of the nine basic personality types which all "non-realized persons" exhibit to one degree or another when psychic health disintegrates into "below average" and "unhealthy" ranges. What traits or "defects" manifest when those personality types are present?
Psychically Unhealthy Type Ones become judgmental, picky, perfectionistic know-it-all
Psychically Unhealthy Type Twos become martyr-like, manipulative, possessive, hysterical, overly accommodating when seeking unlimited love from an unlimited number of people
Psychically Unhealthy Type Threes become narcissistic, deceptive, vain, superficial, vindictive, overly-competitive
Psychically Unhealthy Type Fours become escapist, depressed, guilt-ridden, moralistic, stubborn, moody
Psychically Unhealthy Type Fives become intellectually arrogant, distant, critical of others, knowledge-gathering showoff
Psychically Unhealthy Type Sixes become paranoid, anxious, fear-based, dependent, co-dependent, entitled, testy
Psychically Unhealthy Type Sevens become excessive, escapist, addictive, impulsive, undisciplined, self-destructive, restless
Psychically Unhealthy Type Eights become bossy, overly-assertive, controlling, insensitive, mean, domineering, self-centered, aggressive, vicious, warlike
Psychically Unhealthy Type Nines become dissociated, avoidant, stubborn, obsessive, passive-aggressive, apathetic, angry
A different perspective from that held by the masses can only come when all belief in personality goes. Each of the nine basic personality types as well as the scores of other assumed roles have a basic fear and a basic desire; have the ability to control all thoughts and words and actions; and, since they are all illusions, have the ability to set persons up to be influenced and controlled by things that are not even real.
Evidence of a different perspective manifesting include the following:
As it becomes understood that whatever the masses think they are perceiving is not at all what any of that appears to be, then a different perspective comes and brings with it the following:
A. More and more of what is witnessed is discounted, disregarded, or ignored completely.
B. If abidance is happening as awareness, the irony is that there is less and less awareness of or witnessing of anything, relative or otherwise.
C. After all is seen - that is, after the functioning of the totality has been seen - then less and less time is involved with observing all of the false appearances in the relative existence.
D. After all of the pre-realization chaos has subsided as a result of having realized and as a result of abiding naturally, then it is as if one - as Maharaj noted - "can settle down where no more observation is." Religious and spiritual workaholism will end, as will all spiritual going and doing and zooming.
E. To that end, a different perspective here is that "reaching the Absolute" is not the end of the Advaitin "journey"; nor does the "journey" end by completing the third leg of the "journey" and "coming back" to the relative, overlaying Reality upon that, and abiding sanely and logically for the remainder of the manifestation. Nor is the end of the "journey" marked by finding "That Which You Truly Are."
F. A different perspective allows the following to be understood instead: (1) The "you" or "self" or "composite unity" is time-bound; (2) whatever is time-bound is not real; and (3) no "you" or "You" will be at all, post-manifestation. The different perspective held by "the realized" allows all of that to be understood.
G. Another different perspective is that there is no extending of credibility and no admiration of knowledge here. Just as water no longer need be applied to a fire once it is extinguished, so there is no need to continue to gather knowledge if the gathering has done its job, namely, to extinguish ignorance.
H. This too is perceived: Once ignorance has been extinguished, then - exactly as it is when both discomfort-producing thorns and the thorns that were used to remove them are all discarded - so too it is that both ignorance and knowledge are tossed when realization is followed by nisargan (natural) living. Both ignorance and knowledge are just the extremes of a dualistic continuum.
I. Because there is not even one single belief here that is taken to be true since the different perspective came, then there can be no knowledge at all that is given value. Have you learned certain skills that allow your relative needs to be met? Fine, but in the end, it will be seen that they will have no permanent value and that they will deserve no admiration.
J. A different perspective allows this to be seen as well: When this space called "floyd" takes mahasamadhi, the happenings on the planet involving that space will either continue to happen via some other space or will end and never happen again. Either way, it will not matter.
K. While some report that their relative existence has changed dramatically after having been led through the seven steps from the false "I" to the Absolute to abiding in a natural fashion, that too will be temporary once the different perspective is firmly in place. For a time, in such cases, Love can be known, the nothingness can be understood, ego-assumption and egotism can end, and a small space around the space might be a more peaceful space as a result; but peace in the relative is one-half of the war vs. peace cycling that will continue with most on the planet. That aura of peace that is exuded around a realized space will have a very small diameter and will be very short-lived, relatively speaking, for once that form-cum-manifested-consciousness dissolves, so too shall whatever value or admiration was assigned to it.
L. The perspective here is the following in regards to this relative composite unity called "floyd": At the point of unmanifestation, the elements forming the elemental plant food body shall return to the universal pool of elements; any remaining air that was being circulated at the point of mahasamadhi will be released into the universal pool of air; and the manifested conscious-energy shall unmanifest and return to the omnipresent, universal pool of conscious-energy.
M. The different perspective will make clear that there was no birth so there will be no death and there will most assuredly be no "rebirth" or "life after death." There is only a cycling of elements and air and energy. Which of those three could honestly be said to "have value" and "deserve admiration"? Here, the perspective is that none of those three deserve any assignment of value or admiration. So much for those who are certain that they are "special" or "Something Special."
If all of that is understood by way of a different perspective, then the assumption of egos can end, the use of egotism to support such false identities can end, and a clear perspective will allow all things relative to be perceived accurately and modestly and reasonably and logically.
After all of that is understood, then a respite from having to observe and react can happen, the exhaustion of seeking can end, and the joy of simply abiding naturally can begin.
To be continued.
Please enter into the silence of contemplation.
