TODAY'S CONSIDERATIONS
ANNOUNCEMENTS
1. [See the offer in gold text following this post for details on how you can watch a retreat on video which includes a detailed discussion of all seven of the steps on the path as used by Maharaj]
2. Here, with those who are still driven to talk about "God," the "Son of God," the "Holy Spirit," "Buddha," "Krishna," etc., etc., etc., the invitation to them is to view those as verbs, not nouns. See the green text after today's post for the full meaning and implications of that.
3. A new video ("Number Ten: Awakening Together Satsang, March 2018") has now been added in the far right column of this page, offering the opportunity to view a recent 2018 satsang session with Floyd being interviewed by Regina and Jacqueline of "The Awakening Together Group." (See the details in the blue text after this post.)
The point in this series is that the non-dual message has long been widespread but has seldom been understood either then or now.
A DEEPER LOOK AT SOME OF THE POINTERS OFFERED BY SRI NISARGADATTA MAHARAJ
(continued from yesterday)
At the request of some visitors, further discussion or explanation of some of the Maharaj pointers shared recently is being provided.
13. Maharaj told visitors to the loft that they were not going to get anything there because he was about the business of “taking everything away.”
What does the “everything,” which the non-dual understanding “takes away,” entail?
a. The Ultimate Sickness and, therefore . . .
b. Three key symptoms of the Ultimate Sickness which Maharaj identified as “ignorance, stupidity, and insanity.”
c. Distorted thinking of the type which leads persons who are still asleep to nod their heads in agreement when they hear words and phrases with meanings that are totally ambiguous and vague and indefinite and imprecise and nebulous and so relative that they are indefinable.
Such words and phrases are similar to the term “this world” which also cannot be specifically defined because there are over seven billion perspectives of what this so-called “world” is like because every human has a different perspective. Is it a “wonderful world?” “Is it a “hell-on-earth kind of world?” Is it “a mostly-peaceful place” or is it “a dangerous and threatening place with pain and suffering as its stock-in-trade”?
Consider for example the parents who have walked the 2,422 kilometers / 1,505 miles from Guatemala to the U.S. border with their children in order to apply for asylum in an effort to escape the high murder rate and the high rate of violence in their homeland. (By the way, such application for asylum is a constitutional and legal right and procedure.)
The irony: as Central Americans are being refused the right to apply for asylum by the U.S., the U.S. is the very government which created the conditions which they are trying to escape.
Elizabeth Oglesby, an associate professor of Latin American studies at the University of Arizona., explains:
“Hundreds of thousands of people were displaced in the 1980s, fleeing violence and massacres and political persecution that the United States was either funding directly or at the very minimum, covering up and excusing.” Violence today in those countries, she said, is a directly legacy of US involvement.”
It is a legacy which began with a president in the U.S.
who had been obsessing throughout his entire adult life over his belief that "The communists are coming! The communists are coming!" and then, once elected, began to focus his obsession specifically on "the Central American Communists who were a threat to our democracy, who were right at our own backdoor, and who were going to try to take over our country.”
Thus it was that the U.S. CIA organized a military coup to overthrow Guatemala’s democratically-elected government (in order to protect the economic interests of certain very wealthy U.S. businessmen and corporations in the region). Over 200,000 people were killed there as a result of that U.S.-led coup, and in Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Honduras, similar events occurred as the U.S. favored the rich and interfered in internal affairs and supplied arms and murdered civilians.
Now, ask two children what “the world” is like:
Child 1: my older granddaughter Ava
as opposed to the "worldview" of
Ask Ava what “the world” is like and she will tell you it’s just fine: she’s never been hungry and she has not lived with the terror of having faced potentially-fatal threats every day of her life. The only thing she has wanted for more than a day has been to take ballet lessons, and next week she will start those classes.
Then ask Child 2 or any of the children who have watched their fellow child prisoners dying in U.S. custody.
In fact, you would have to ask the others because Child 2 Jakelin Caal from Guatemala is among those who have died in the custody of U.S. government officials.
She was obviously ill but was deprived of medical care for too many days. All she needed was a few dollars worth of antibiotics which would have cleared up the infection from which she died, but she was not given those in time.
So we would have to ask the thousands of other children who have been taken from their parents and imprisoned or scattered over the U.S. while their parents were sent back to their home countries if we would find the perception of “the world” according to those children; or by asking the children who are hearing government officials admitting that many of those children may never be reunited with their parents (a punishment plan which is intended by the current administration to deter others from seeking asylum);
or by asking the incarcerated children who were told this week that their education classes are going to be discontinued along with their right to physical exercise as their playing of soccer was also outlawed this week.
See the variables which prevent defining accurately what “the world” is and what it is like?
The perceptions regarding anyone’s view of “the world” is totally relative, totally dependent on the billions of varying happenings which humans are experiencing; thus, it becomes clear that no single perspective of “the world” can possibly match anyone else’s as a result of the billions of different “definitions” or views. That means that no single definition can be valid.
d. The same applies to “everything” which the non-realized masses think they understand but do not; instead, there is a pervasive dullness which lulls persons into nodding along in agreement when they hear the so-called Big Name Teachers of (Pseudo) Non-Duality speak of the ways to attain “success.”
What is success? Who gets to say? Who (which ego-states) think they can accurately discuss success with the masses? How would success be defined, specifically? It cannot be because, again, there are over seven billion definitions of what “success” is in the minds of the masses on planet earth, and even the definitions which apply today will likely change at some later point.
And what of those teachers’ talk of “the fulfillment of desires and dreams” and “Spiritual Laws” and “getting power now”?
The power to do what? Would that not also vary so much, what with billions of different views, that no single definition could be valid?
e. Does not the same apply to those teachers' other promises regarding “good intentions”; “ambitions being met”; having “an ageless body and timeless mind,” etc., etc. etc.?
The understanding can eliminate the distortions which generate unconscious acquiescence and the unquestioned acceptance of the millions of bogus concepts which are expressed on a daily basis by those talking in their sleep.
What else is included in the “everything” which the non-dual understanding can “take away?”
f. The perverted effects of perverted programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, brainwashing and indoctrination.
Again:
There is no one who wants to believe anything that is believed here because there is nothing here that is believed. All has been cast aside. The seeking and spiritual workaholism ended after I stayed out of any and every venue that wants to teach more and wants members to learn more.
Here, the un-teaching was completed, the un-learning was completed, and everything was taken away.
What’s left? The no-more-ness. The oneness and the no-one-ness. The no-self-ness and the no-Self-ness. The peace and quiet of the nothingness.
To be continued.

Here, with those who are still driven to talk about "God," the "Son of God," the "Holy Spirit," "Buddha," "Krishna," etc., etc., etc., the invitation to them is to view those as verbs, not nouns.
THE EXPLANATION
If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.
Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of God in the past was of a weak God, an absentee God, A Santa Claus-type God, a mean, punishing, vindictive God, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring God whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to."
The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a God that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").
Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring God,' any supposed God that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'God' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part.
"That is, a non-narcissistic god / goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'God' and focus on the 'God as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you."
Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:
"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"
--Yeshu'a (Jesus)
and
"Heaven and earth shall fade away."
--Yeshu'a (Jesus)
and
"Heaven and hell are not geographic places
but are states of mind, nothing more than
concepts dreamed up by men."
--Pope John Paul II
"There is no hell."
--Pope Francis, the current pope
in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari,
a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record
teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium.
[That said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional courage required to question the very existence of their institution in light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of billions of their members past and present.
And that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will they? Not likely. Why?
Because what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the international crime families which hold sway over the masses as criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major international crime families and which are the most influential and have the largest memberships?
The Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion followers) whose Vatican Bank worked for decades with the Mafia while laundering mob earnings (for a 15% all-profit charge by the Bank); Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers) like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)
With all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business, politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the driving forces at play.
The masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
