The current focus on Covig-19 notwithstanding, humankind has long suffered from sicknesses and has long sought cures and preventives. Take for example the practice of bloodletting which was used for over 3000 years and which only recently (in the late 1800's) became discredited as a treatment for a host of illnesses.

For thousands of years, if a person had what we now understand to have been a migraine headache or a fever or the plague or smallpox or epilepsy or gout or one of hundreds of other ailments, the first-line treatment for what ailed that person would be this:

a doctor would use a lancet (often a sharpened piece of wood) to open a vein and then allow the blood to drain into a receptacle. In some cases, blood sucking leeches would be attached to a patient's body instead of using a lancet.

The practice ended only a little over a century ago because a few wise people came to understand that the method was totally ineffective in treating anything. Yet during the history of "medicine," the masses refused to listen to the few and abandon the practice. The reaction was, "If you won't bleed me, I'll find someone who will, you quack!"

There's a parallel which Maharaj experienced:

After so many years of teachers and seekers using the most popular form of treatment for the Ultimate Sickness (namely, "dogma" or "spirituality"), Maharaj came to realize something similar to what some bloodletting doctors came to see:

after thousands of years of humans being dedicated to a popular form of treatment, that treatment was not working, was not providing the sought-after healing, no matter how attached they were to their dogma or spirituality.

Also similarly, Maharaj saw that the use for thousands of years of the most popular treatments for trying to treat humankind's main problem-causing Sickness (namely, the use of dogma and / or spiritual exercises as treatments) had not been effective;

 

thus, when he abandoned the use of those in his later years, the reaction was that he, like those wise doctors earlier who abandoned the use of bloodletting, came to be labeled "a quack," and worse. 

 

If bloodletting worked, I'd be the first to endorse its use, but it does not provide true healing. Similarly, if dogma and spirituality worked, I'd be the first to continue to endorse their use as I did early on and as Maharaj did early on. But a wise, perceptive, and honest witness - observing the multi-thousand-year history of their use - would admit that they do not provide any true and lasting healing.

 

All of the dozens of teachers who were contemporaries of Maharaj - as well as the many who preceded him in his “non-dual lineage” - spoke of the relative problems which evolve from body-mind-personality identification. 

The difference with Maharaj: while he, and most other teachers, honed in on the issues which are generated by personality identification, none gave as much attention to the mind / psychological aspects of mind identification as Maharaj did, especially in his later talks. 

Of course the thoughts and words and actions of persons are all controlled and determined by the hidden agendas of each and every persona which they assume as their multiple identities / multiple personalities (which in and of itself is a personality disorder) and of course personal identities are a key source of humankind's chaos. 

For an example, meet Terry Craft, a man some regular visitors to this site might recognize:

Terry Craft was incarcerated because of his actions, actions which were totally determined by the agenda of a false identity. News Channel 2 shared what the police department offered about Craft’s actions: 

PD: Man plows into motorcyclist over affair with his wife 

FRIENDSWOOD, Texas - A motorcyclist was deliberately run down by another driver because the victim was sleeping with the driver's wife, according to Friendswood police. 

Police said Terry Craft, 34, was in his truck on FM 528 around 7 a.m. Thursday and saw a man driving a motorcycle coming from the other direction at Winding Way. 

Investigators said Craft is married and recognized the man on the bike as the man who is having an affair with his wife. 

At that point, police said Craft gunned his truck, turned the wheel and intentionally slammed into the motorcyclist. He also hit another vehicle in the process. 

"It was intentional. The gentleman who was driving the red dodge truck got out, sat down on the curb and actually told me, 'That's what he gets for cheating with my wife,'" said witness Bobby Adcox. 

The victim went flying off the bike and was rushed to Clear Lake Regional Hospital for serious injuries. 

Craft is charged with aggravated assault. He's in jail on a $40,000 bond. 

The motorcyclist is in the hospital in serious yet stable condition. 

So much for personal identifications (or “Personal Identifications” or “so-called “Non-personal Identifications” such as “The Supreme Self” or being “God”) and their subsequent consequences. 

Yet where are personal or “Personal” or “Non-Personal identifications” stored and where are they called forth from? The mind. 

See? The mind and false personality identifications are conjoined twins of a sort, bringing unspeakable relative horrors as when twins are conjoined or as when a mind exists and is conjoined with a belief in the personality identifications stored therein. 

Recall Maharaj’s pointers from earlier: 

"There is no chaos in the world except the chaos which your mind creates." 

"There is no such thing as peace of mind. Mind means disturbance. Restlessness itself is mind." 

"Beyond the mind there is no suffering." 

"To know that you are a prisoner of your mind - that you live in an imaginary world of your own creation - is the dawn of wisdom." 

Memories are stored throughout many brain structures in the connections between neurons. Short-term memories, such as a hotel room number, are processed in the front of the brain in a highly-developed area called the “pre-frontal lobe” (which, relatively speaking in evolutionary terms, is a new part of the brain in humans). 

Short-term recollections are translated into long-term memories in the hippocampus, an area even “deeper” in the brain (which, relatively speaking in evolutionary terms, is also a new part of the brain in humans). 

Such recollections include the memory of hundreds of conceptualizations regarding false identifications such as, “You are a girl” or “You are a boy” or “I now pronounce you husband and wife.” How many of those memories are based in any actual truth? None. 

[Maharaj: “After the information given to you by the mother, that you are a boy or girl, all your further acquisitions are but hearsay.”] 

The brain is rooted in the natural elements, but the mind is rooted in bogus and ignorant and insane concepts which are passed along from one generation to the next via totally unnatural and / or supposedly "supernatural" programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, indoctrination, and brainwashing. 

Hence, Maharaj’s points out that “There is no such thing as peace of mind” and the related point offered here is that “there is only peace if you are out of your mind.” 

Consider how different a relative existence could be if one were not being driven by the nonsense or by the “learned ignorance” which Maharaj spoke of and which is all stored in the mind. 

And consider how different the relative existence could be for any children presently exposed to that nonsense (or who might eventually be exposed to that nonsense) which follows the development of a mind which is full of nonsense and ignorance. 

And how different would the relative existence be for people who encounter such nonsense-filled, mind-driven persons throughout the day. Talk about the ever-expanding waves that happen after a pebble is tossed into a pond. And talk about how calm the pond could remain if no one tossed in a pebble in the first place. 

Consider the actual aspects of a relative existence which might change if one were not being driven by the mind or by the programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, indoctrination, and brainwashing stored therein or by the symptoms of the Ultimate Sickness which Maharaj said include “ignorance and stupidity and insanity.” 

As an alternative to such complications, meet Diana Loomans. Diana awoke enough to see some changes that would have been possible if she had seen earlier what she sees now. That clear seeing led her to write the following:

"IF I HAD MY CHILD TO RAISE OVER AGAIN" 

I'd finger paint more, and point the finger less. 

I'd do less correcting, and more connecting. 

I'd take my eyes off my watch, and watch with my eyes. 

I would care to know less, and know to care more. 

I'd take more hikes and fly more kites. 

I'd stop playing serious, and seriously play. 

I'd run through more fields, and gaze at more stars. 

I'd do more hugging, and less tugging. 

I would be firm less often, and affirm much more. 

I'd build self-esteem first, and the house later. 

I'd teach less about the love of power, And more about the power of love. 

It matters not whether my child is big or small, 

From this day forth, I'll cherish it all. 

Loomans came to see that parents can abide as Personality Type Two Caregivers or as Type Four Lover Givers or as Personality Type Eight Controllers, Bosses, Rulers, and Parent Types (as well as Sociopaths and Psychopaths).

In the news nowadays are many Type Eights who want to do what Type Eights try to do, believing "It's a war out there, so dominate and control. Never back down. Charge ahead full speed. Confront. Fight. Beat. Defeat. If all of that fails, then annihilate completely."

Recently, the U.S. Secretary of Defense offered this plan to address those in the streets who are protesting the use of violence and brutality by the police:

To the governors of the fifty states in the U.S., he told them to "dominate the battle space." So in his military mind, the streets of the U.S. are now a "battle space"? Really?

Type Eights see everything in dualistic terms (meaning, "us vs. them") whether the subject is marriages, marketing in business, one religion trying to dominate those in other religions or trying to replace all other religions, political party disagreements, police vs. civilians, warriors vs. the enemy, etc. They love the battle because they love to win battles. They create chaos in their effort to pit some against others.

Thus, Trump's reaction to protestors was to threaten to send in the military to have U.S. soldiers confront "the enemy," that is, U.S. citizens who had been peaceful for the most part.

Then, he went back to the 1950's and 60's rhetoric used by racist politicians and police and said, "When the looting starts, the shooting starts." Threaten. Threaten. Threaten. Escalate. Escalate. Escalate. Like a control-obsessed parent tries to do with a child.

Loomans, to the contrary, is such a refreshing and unique human. Few that want to treat their children (and usually others as well) as if the one assuming the parent role should be in change all alone and should give orders rather than engage in dialogue, Loomans came to see that there was actually another way to engage and interact and that another way besides hers might actually result in a healthier relative existence.

What about you? What might change if you were to see more clearly, just as she eventually did? 

Might your child or children feel the sting of your tongue (or your belt) less often and instead feel loved more often? 

What about your "mate"? Might those alternate approaches be called for in your adult relations as well, especially when you present as "The Parent" or "The Boss" and treat others as if they were "A Child"?

What about the leaders you vote for? Might a change in the type / Type you support be called for? Do you believe that one who loves chaos and fighting and dominating and controlling can make your society a more peaceful one? Or is a peaceful society no more a goal for you than for those types?

I have witnessed in my 72 years that those who are always wanting to fight to overthrow something might best serve their own interests if they were to overthrow their false selves and find authenticity and peace.

Of course, that's just a suggestion. For others visiting the site today, what if the following became your story: 

If I could be totally freed of all the garbage which has been shoved into my mind and which is still stored in my mind and which is now subconsciously controlling my thoughts and words and actions, and if I were able to see more clearly now than I have ever seen before, then . . . 

I'd point the finger less. 

I'd do less correcting. 

I'd watch with my eyes. 

I would care to know less. 

I would care more. 

I'd stop playing serious and seriously play. 

I'd do more hugging and less tugging. 

I would be firm less often and affirm much more. 

I'd teach less about the love of power, 

And more about the power of love. 

and 

From this day forth, I would cherish it all. 

Then, 

I might actually be fun to be around, for a change. 

Then, I might have fewer children and fewer adults claiming that I am surely suffering from a massive case of what floyd sometimes calls . . .

THE EXPLANATION

If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.

Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of god in the past was of a weak god, an absentee god, A Santa Claus-type god, a mean, punishing, vindictive god, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring god whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to."

The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a god that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").

Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring god,' any supposed god that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'god' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part.

"That is, a non-narcissistic their god / their goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'god' and focus on the 'god as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you." 

Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:

"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"

and 

"Heaven and earth shall fade away."

--Yeshu'a (Jesus)

and 

"Heaven and hell are not geographic places

but are states of mind, nothing more than

concepts dreamed up by men."

--Pope John Paul II 

"There is no hell."

--Pope Francis, the current pope

in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari,

a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record

teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium. 

[That said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional courage required to question the very existence of their institution in light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of billions of their members past and present.

And that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will they? Not likely. Why?

Because what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the international crime families which hold sway over the masses as criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major international crime families and which are the most influential and have the largest memberships?

The Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion followers) whose Vatican Bank worked for decades with the Mafia while laundering mob earnings (for a 15% all-profit charge by the Bank); Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers) like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)

With all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business, politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the driving forces at play.

The masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
