THE DARK TRIAD

[Continued from yesterday. Unless noted otherwise, the pointers offered here and the examples provided are simply the result of the "observations" of the author, based in years of completing personality testing and analysis; certifications in the field of psychology; and years of observation and study.]

Coming up today:

A report was shown to me which said that "the military has seen members from 53 gangs and 100 regions in the U.S. enlist in every branch of the armed forces."

The military I speak of now is not your father's military. It is not exactly the military you may have served in, either. This is a whole new ball game / killing game. And that means that the police forces are a reflection of that new game as well.

Yesterday, several example were offered of sociopaths and psychopaths who have been in the news but who are not "famous." Today, we'll . . .

1. look at how the two types differ and how they are alike

and

2. look at a few examples of sociopaths, psychopaths, and sociopaths / psychopaths who have been well known.

"Rickkcir" offered several examples of . . .

THE "CON MAN SOCIOPATH":

They can be fun, charm and entertaining; they can present an image of being successful but at some point it will be seen that the image is false; because of their huge levels of egotism, they are easily offended (followed by whining and then contempt and then lashing out); they consider themselves victims and are forever enhancing a public image of being victims and being mistreated, even though they are treated better than most;

they lie, always, about everything; they crave widespread respect, just like all narcissists (which they usually also are), as well as power and control; they have delusions of fame and importance; they mimic authenticity and sincerity but have neither; they are devoid of empathy; they have no respect for the laws and norms and mores of their society, even as they demand others adhere to all of those;

they use and abuse the court systems to sue others for their own gain and to control others through intimidation; they have outbursts of rage; they can be violent; and they know that they are seen to be "monsters" but actually enjoy the reputation and the fear that generates.

In order to assist with "spotting them," one may note that many famous sociopaths exist and have been named as such in various studied available on the internet, such as Jared Kushner, Bill Clinton, Mark Zuckerberg, Jack Dorsey, Kanye West, Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump, Harvey Weinstein, Tom Cruise, Mel Gibson, Kevin Spacey, Woody Allen, Mike Tyson, and, of course, many, many more.

THE PSYCHOPATH:

Many sociopaths can also be psychopaths, displaying sociopathic tendencies with the additional trait of not caring at all if people die and being willing to let people die and enjoying seeing people suffer and die, especially if deemed to be "their enemy," and actually killing people or allowing them to be killed.

Often they display the traits of sociopaths and then display even more extreme traits and behaviors as their personalities disintegrate. 

Sankalan Baidya has compiled a list of the traits of psychopaths. Some items from his list include these:

They display emotional poverty; they cannot provide loyalty or love but demand both from all around them; they see other people as objects to toy with, to be used, to lie to, and to hurt; they suffer from boredom and restlessness and lack empathy; they are emotional abusers and can be sexual predators; they want to maintain a sense of superiority; they are driven to harm others; they enjoy destroying others, sexually, emotionally, or even literally;

they display anger, and it can be arbitrary, sudden, short-lived or long-held, and easily triggered; they are happiest when they have been able to con people; the bonds they establish are never love bonds but are dominance bonds; they always believe that their unacceptable actions are actually appropriate and justifiable; they believe that any hurtful actions taken against others are actually favors; they demand to be idealized and idolized;

they are masters at fooling others; they hold contempt for their victims; they have duality-based views of everything and divide people into two groups: superiors and inferiors or winners and losers and abide in an "us vs. them" mindset; they often brag about their sexual conquests and exploits; if married, they will usually have many sexual relationships outside the marriage; and, they are irresponsible and never accept responsibility for anything.

Lindsay Dodgson wrote this in the article

"Psychopaths Cannot Be Cured - Here's Why":

"Psychopathy is a personality disorder, not a mental illness. There is no cure for psychopaths, and they will never be able to change."

A cop who will make a feces sandwich and give it to a homeless person and laugh while watching him eat it can be exposed to "retraining seminars" all you want and can be given as much "sensitivity training" as you wish, but he will not change. He is not mentally ill. He is a sociopathic psychopath.

A cop who shoots a teenager, and continues to shoot him when he is lying dead in the street, can be "retrained" all you want and given as much "sensitivity training" as you wish, but he will not change.

Dodgson: "People who experience psychopathic traits, such as ruthlessness, charisma, impulsivity, and persuasiveness, tend to get through life just fine. They will never be able to sympathise with someone else's feelings or care that someone else is suffering while the psychopath thrives.

"In fact, sometimes psychopaths will enjoy feeling superior while they cause chaos for other people. They won't ever believe that there is anything wrong with them" (so if they are ever held accountable, they will feel as if they are being victimized).

In closing, Dodgson shares psychologist and therapist Perpetua Neo's take on this issue: "From what I've read, what I've heard, and what I've seen and experienced so far, people with dark triad personality disorders cannot and will not change."

Again, note that some famous sociopaths also make the psychopath lists, including Adolf Hitler and his Nazi cohorts, neo-Nazis in general, white supremacists in general, O.J. Simpson, John Wayne Gacy, Charles Manson, Richard Ramirez, Harold Shipman, Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer and Derek Chauvin (of George Floyd fame) and Officer Matthew Luckhurst (of shit sandwich fame) and Officer Jason Van Dyke (of 16 bullets in a teenage fame) as well as these who make both lists: Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump, and Harvey Weinstein.

 And studies which identify the top ten careers with the most psychopaths almost always include among their findings . . . police officers.

Another study found this:

"Police with military experience are more likely to shoot."

Another study offered this: "The debate over the militarization of America's police has focused on the accumulation of war-grade vehicles and artillery and the spread of paramilitary SWAT teams. What has gone largely unstudied, however, is the impact of military veterans migrating into law enforcement."

When a fear-based or xenophobia-based "we-support-our-troops-unconditionally" or "we-support-our-police-unconditionally" mindset exists (as it does all across the U.S.) then there will be little chance that the masses will ever scrutinize objectively the actions of people in those two careers. Combine that with the inability of the masses to spot sociopaths and psychopaths and the most that the masses might admit is this:

"Well, there are a few bad apples in every barrel."

There has long been totally-ignored evidence of the systemic racism which infiltrates every aspect of the U.S. society, and there has long been totally-ignored evidence that sociopaths and psychopaths dominate the ranks of those two particular careers, the members of which have long received "a pass" from  the citizens of the U.S. society for all of their unacceptable behaviors.

The screening process used by military recruiters - some of whom have told me that they are being  placed under unbelievable pressure to constantly increase their numbers - pretty much boils down to this (as one recruiter said):

"Are they breathing? They're in."

A report was shown to me which said that "the military has seen members from 53 gangs and 100 regions in the U.S. enlist in every branch of the armed forces."

The report continued: "Members of every major street gang, some prison gangs, and some outlaw motorcycle gangs have been reported to be present on U.S. and international military installation." Some gangs have members enlist in order to be trained in the most efficient killing methods with the most efficient killing weapons so they can return to the gangs and pass on what they were taught.

Yet naivete reigns throughout the U.S.:

"We do not need to make wholesale changes in our police forces. We just need to retrain the few bad apples and instill in them a higher level of sensitivity." 

"And all that people like O.J. Simpson and Charles Manson and Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump and Harvey Weinstein and Officer Derek Chauvin and Officer Matthew Luckhurst and Officer Jason Van Dyke and everyone else like them really need is a good ole hug and to be told that we love them and support them and trust them."

Then, 

"To hell with retraining and sensitivity training. I wonder why more therapists and counselors and psychiatrists, etc. haven't included 'hugging' and 'unconditional love and respect and acceptance' as tools in their repertoire kits for dealing with sociopaths and psychopaths and others who are so clearly exhibiting the dark triad traits?"

THE EXPLANATION

If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.

Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of god in the past was of a weak god, an absentee god, A Santa Claus-type god, a mean, punishing, vindictive god, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring god whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to."

The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a god that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").

Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring god,' any supposed god that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'god' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part.

"That is, a non-narcissistic their god / their goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'god' and focus on the 'god as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you." 

Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:

"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"

--Yeshu'a (Jesus)

and 

"Heaven and earth shall fade away."

--Yeshu'a (Jesus)

and 

"Heaven and hell are not geographic places

but are states of mind, nothing more than

concepts dreamed up by men."

--Pope John Paul II 

"There is no hell."

--Pope Francis, the current pope

in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari,

a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record

teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium. 

[That said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional courage required to question the very existence of their institution in light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of billions of their members past and present.

And that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will they? Not likely. Why?

Because what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the international crime families which hold sway over the masses as criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major international crime families and which are the most influential and have the largest memberships?

The Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion followers) whose Vatican Bank worked for decades with the Mafia while laundering mob earnings (for a 15% all-profit charge by the Bank); Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers) like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)

With all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business, politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the driving forces at play.

The masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
