170. Why is full realization so rare a condition? The last thing that a mind can accept is that it is wrong . . . that it is the problem. The mind is forever looking outside itself to find the cause of discontentment and pain and misery and suffering, blaming “others” and everything but the actual source: the mind itself. 

171. To abide under the influence of personality is to live in a trance. 

172. If one realizes that he / she is among the billions who are walking about in a trance because they are being driven subconsciously by the hidden agendas of their personalities that determine and control their every thought and word and action, then one can understand why the sages have long advised seekers to be rid of body and mind and personality identification. 

173. What if Maharaj’s pointer is spot on, and what if there is a chain of causation that includes inestimable, almost-always-hidden factors, none of which are “evil”? In that case, there are some actual, concrete, tangible, specific steps that can be taken - relatively speaking - that can sometimes address the ignorance-and-insanity-based issues that the masses mistake as issues rooted in “evil.” 

174. So what do those issues involve? Some of the elements in the chain of causation that generate what persons label as “evil doings” or “wicked people” include ignorance, stupidity, and insanity as well as personality assumption, personality defects, and personality-defects-gone-wild, leading to psychic disintegration and full-blown neuroses and psychoses. 

175. Non-duality is about addressing some levels of insanity and freeing seekers of the effects. 

176. While non-duality dismisses the validity of all dualistic pairings including “good vs. evil,” it also ignores many of the typical definitions of “insanity.” 

177. Instead, at the root of duality-based insanity is unchecked arrogance; belief in hierarchies and a desire to rise in whichever ones are deemed significant; a lack of awareness of the Oneness;

a belief in the concepts of “two-ness” and “multiplicity” which in turn support a “me vs. others” mentality; unconstrained attachment to ego and egotism; and a level of preoccupation with self and self-ish-ness and self-centeredness. 

178. The dysfunctionalism and ignorance and stupidity and insanity that drive adults to take a child’s blank tablet and to write on it the most insane and dualistic and nonsensical beliefs and ideas and concepts and notions and thoughts and opinions and judgments and views and perspectives, year after year after year, is the author of the resulting ignorance and stupidity and insanity that generate such widespread pain and misery and suffering all around the globe. 

Why do they do that? Because crazy cannot spot crazy, though it can most assuredly pass itself on. The Ultimate Medicine is available, but those who do not have a clue that they are Ultimately Sick will never seek that Medicine. 

179. In the “evil” vs. “ignorance, stupidity, and insanity” debate, several basic pointers of non-duality must be understood to draw a fact-based conclusion about what is happening on the planet and why: 

180. There is no real “person.” That’s short for “persona,” and personas are all false. That which is taken to be a person is actually a triad consisting of (1) an elemental plant food body, circulating (2) air and housing temporarily-manifested (3) conscious-energy within the space. 

181. Can the elements be a person or be evil? No. Can the air be a person or be evil? No. Can the conscious-energy be a person or be evil? No. 

182. Can the consciousness be blocked from seeing Truth and therefore believe that which is false as a result of programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, brainwashing, and indoctrination? Yes. 

183. Can the blocked consciousness then accumulate beliefs? Yes. 

184. Can the accumulated beliefs include the belief that one actually is a person and that assumed and assigned personas are actual identities? Yes. 

185. Can assumed personas or ego-states emote? That is, can their hidden desires and hidden fears generate emoting and emotional intoxication? Yes.

186. Can the emotion of fear manifest as subsets of fear that include anger, hatred, loathing, revulsion, and disgust? Yes. 

187. Are those rooted in ignorance? Yes. Can they inspire stupid and / or insane behaviors? Yes. 

188. Is there a person that could be deemed an ignorant person, a stupid person, or an insane person? No. Consider the parts of the triad that are mistaken for persons and then determine: 

189. Can the elements be ignorant elements, stupid elements, or insane elements? No. Can the air be ignorant air, stupid air, or insane air? No. Can the conscious-energy be ignorant energy, stupid energy, or insane energy? No. Can that energy be blocked or warped? Yes. 

190. The point: only personas / ego-states can emote and be driven by emotional intoxication which generates fear, anger, hatred, loathing, revulsion, and disgust. What is called “the True Self” refers to the pure universal consciousness which - if manifested - can only witness. 

191. So ego-states emote; the pure universal consciousness witnesses. The so-called “Real Self” during the AM-ness is, in fact, nothing more than the temporarily-manifested consciousness that, if pure (that is, if not blocked and warped) is not “a witness” but is merely witnessing. Note: The term “the True Self” implies the deceit of personage which is the case with all versions of “self” and “Self.”

192. Because the pure universal consciousness is manifested for a finite period of time, there is no Eternal Self or Infinite Self or Endless Self. What is forever is energy / matter. The elements are forever, the air is forever, and energy is forever. But no triad is forever, and no self or Self is, much less is “forever.”

193. The irony is that all of the chaos of the planet is a result of mirages, of the near-limitless false identities that can be assumed or assigned and that are taken to be real. 

194. Once taken to be real, they will drive all thoughts and words and actions. It is not evil that is driving thoughts and words and actions; it is delusion, distortion, the inability to differentiate true from false, the ability to believe that false identities are real, and the belief that the agendas of false identities are significant and must be acted upon. 

195. Hence, the Boston bombers, one of whom left a note written with a marker on the interior wall of the boat where he was hiding. The content proclaimed, among other things, that the bombings were retribution for U.S. actions in Iraq and Afghanistan; that the Boston victims were “collateral damage,” using the same term first used by the U.S. to describe “the innocent bystanders who happen to die when terrorists are being killed”; 

the note also said that “when you attack one Muslim, you attack all Muslims”; the note included the words “Fuck America”; the note said that his brother was a martyr who was, therefore, with Allah in paradise and that he would soon be joining him there; and the note explained that the attack was payback for hits on Muslims. 

196. None of those beliefs could be believed - and none of the actions that evolved from those beliefs could have happened - without the bombers having first assumed and / or been assigned many false personas / false identifications. 

197. Their false identities included: “Members of the Right Religion”; “Worshippers of Allah and Mohammed”; “The Ones Who Are Following the One True Faith”; “The Avengers of Wrongs Against Muslims”;

 

“Muslims As Opposed to All Others”; “The Two Who Recognize the Oneness of All Muslims But Not the Oneness of All, Period”; “The One From ‘That’ Country And Not From ‘This’ Country”;

 

and “The Ones Guaranteed To Be With Allah Forever If We Die Killing Members of Other Religions.”

 

[Note: before members of others religions - such as Christianity - become arrogant and prideful and defensive and judgmental about Muslims, note that Christians have killed far more people in their two-thousand-year history than the members of all other religions combined.] 

198. That which the “brothers were” - actually elemental plant food bodies circulating air and housing blocked and warped conscious-energy - could not be evil; instead, they were specks of blocked and warped consciousness that were driven by their assumed and assigned personas, mere mirages that nevertheless behaved insanely as a result of the programming and conditioning and acculturation and domestication and brainwashing and indoctrination that made the blocked and warped consciousness believe the lie that their assumed and assigned identities were real and that their personas’ agendas had to be met.

THE EXPLANATION

If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.

Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of god in the past was of a weak god, an absentee god, A Santa Claus-type god, a mean, punishing, vindictive god, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring god whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to."

The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a god that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").

Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring god,' any supposed god that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'god' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part.

"That is, a non-narcissistic their god / their goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'god' and focus on the 'god as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you." 

Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:

"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"

and 

"Heaven and earth shall fade away."

--Yeshu'a (Jesus)

and 

"Heaven and hell are not geographic places

but are states of mind, nothing more than

concepts dreamed up by men."

--Pope John Paul II 

"There is no hell."

--Pope Francis, the current pope

in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari,

a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record

teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium.

[That said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional courage required to question the very existence of their institution in light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of billions of their members past and present.

And that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will they? Not likely. Why?

Because what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the international crime families which hold sway over the masses as criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major international crime families and which are the most influential and have the largest memberships?

The Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion followers) whose Vatican Bank worked for decades with the Mafia while laundering mob earnings (for a 15% all-profit charge by the Bank); Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers) like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)

With all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business, politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the driving forces at play.

The masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
