DEFINING FREEDOM - CONVENTIONAL SOURCES (cont.)


Now, back to that notion of a guide being “different” and the comment by one visitor who suggested that he was being offered something from this speck that is “different” and that he “wants” to continue to receive it. That is an “idea,” and all ideas miss the mark. Consider that speck called “Maharaj”:

Maharaj was not “different.” The only thing that placed that speck of consciousness among the few thousand on the planet that are fully realized at any given time (and that therefore made Maharaj “look different”) was not the fact that “he” was different.

It was not the fact that Maharaj “looked different” that inspired some to listen when that speck spoke but the fact that the speck of energy called “Maharaj” looked differently.

Meaning? Meaning that the unblocked, unobstructed speck of pure, universal consciousness witnessed in a manner that was different from the way that all of the other blocked, obscured specks of consciousness witnessed.

That clear seeing allowed total freedom to manifest, and it was that total freedom - including being totally free of any attachment to the body - which allowed the speck called “Maharaj” to take mahasamadhi with no moaning or whimpering at all. Yet that does not imply that that totally free speck - or any other speck that is “realized - is suicidal or pro-death.

The pointer was offered earlier that what Jean Dunn called Maharaj’s awe-inspiring acceptance of mahasamadhi cannot happen if there is not total freedom, that is, if total non-attachment to the personal has not happened  . . . if there is no longer any “tie” . . . no “tie that binds.”

Understand, though, that non-attachment to the plant food body does not imply the presence of a “death-wish.” The non-realized assume that if there is not a life-wish, then there must be a death-wish. Not true.

Realized, the speck is freed from all personality identification, and since it is each persona that brings a specific desire and a specific fear, then the no-persona condition is a condition that is free of any wish, including a life-wish or a death-wish.

As among the naturally-abiding deer, all is merely witnessed without agenda and without emotional intoxication. For those that have followed the pointers offered here for awhile, you might recall a description of a fawn that was stillborn outside the office window here.

 

The buck and doe both displayed what was obviously some “feelings,” but there was no emotional intoxication and they eventually moved on without attachment.

That is the way all manifestings and un-manifestings play out among the realized: all is witnessed from a platform of neutrality, and the platform is always some distance away from whatever relative happenings are playing out.

 

But in a culture where “full-speed-ahead” is thought to be the only acceptable option, “neutral” is seldom considered as an option at all.

In a culture where identification seldom moves beyond the “body level,” then anyone not dedicated to the concepts of relative body continuity and eternal body continuity is thought to be “insane.”

Interesting, is it not, that the ones who have called “floyd” “flawed” or “insane” or “lost” or “beyond salvation” have usually been among the billions on the planet who are attached to dogma-based beliefs that generate attachment to the body and attachment to such insane beliefs as revealed in recent polls:

the critics over the years are among the billions who believe that angels (i.e., half-bird / half-human, invisible creatures) are floating about all around them and are protecting them; 20% of them now claim that they’ve heard God speak to them;

 

Moreover, if they really believe they heard a voice or voices, they have just self-diagnosed their Schizophrenic Personality Disorder as well as the possible presence of psychosis, bipolar disorder, and / or a schizoaffective disorder);

25% say they have witnessed miraculous healings (so I “need to pray and need to ask people to pray for me”); 16% say they’ve received a miraculous healing so they know it can work for me; and 8% percent say that they regularly speak and pray in tongues.

 

[Many of those types are among those Pentecostal congregations which encourage members to roll around of the floor of the church and speak in unknown tongues during their religious ceremonies.]

And those are just some of the nonsensical beliefs held by persons who have no clue at all about total freedom, including total freedom from attachment to the plant food body-cum-consciousness and attachment to desire-and-fear-generating beliefs.

Again, the point is this: the non-realized masses believe that if you don’t have a life-wish, then you must have a death-wish. They do not understand what nisarga living looks like. The deer neither wishes for life nor wishes for death. It abides naturally, just witnessing whatever is happening.

Some remember that one past winter, a deer was seen lying in the edge of some woods near this house, dying. After using the mobile phone to call the main office in the subdivision for them to contact one of the game wardens that work in the area and then awaiting his arrival, I knelt down and rubbed the deer along its neck.

One of its huge eyes stared at me, but there was no reaction other than a slight, jerking motion when its neck was first touched.

Yet that deer did not whimper, did not moan, did not make a sound. There might have been some discomfort, what with a human so close, but there was most assuredly no fear of death being revealed in that eye.

There was no “hope,” no “I sure hope I live.” Nor was there any “wish,” no “I sure wish I could go ahead and die and end this pain.” When the warden completed his inspection and determined there was no treatment that was going to extend the manifestation of consciousness in the deer, he came back with a syringe.

Seeing the needle, there was no “change of heart” with the deer saying, “Wait! Is there a chance I can make it for another year? How about one more month? How about at least a week? Well can you give me just ten more seconds? Is there a chance for that much at least? Can you at least wait that long?”

No, it all ended quietly without agenda, all being witnessed from a platform of neutrality, with no “this” preferred over “that” which is inevitable.

That is what total freedom looks like, and the deer abided in a state of total freedom throughout the manifestation, and the conscious-energy which had been circulating in that deer’s elemental, plant food body unmanifested with total freedom.

And the way it was for that deer, from “beginning” to “end,” is the same way it is for the “realized Nisargan.”

THE EXPLANATION


If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.

Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of god in the past was of a weak god, an absentee god, A Santa Claus-type god, a mean, punishing, vindictive god, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring god whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to."

The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a god that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").

Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring god,' any supposed god that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'god' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part.

"That is, a non-narcissistic their god / their goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'god' and focus on the 'god as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you." 

Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:

and 


"Heaven and hell are not geographic places

but are states of mind, nothing more than

concepts dreamed up by men."

in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari,

a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record

teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium.

[That said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional courage required to question the very existence of their institution in light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of billions of their members past and present.

And that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will they? Not likely. Why?

Because what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the international crime families which hold sway over the masses as criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major international crime families and which are the most influential and have the largest memberships?

The Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion followers) whose Vatican Bank worked for decades with the Mafia while laundering mob earnings (for a 15% all-profit charge by the Bank); Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers) like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)

With all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business, politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the driving forces at play.

The masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
