OVERCOMING THE FEAR OF TOTAL FREEDOM

 Speaking of ceremonies which have reinforced false programming and resulted in passing down bogus belief systems which make fools of humans and trap them in darkness (and in “ignorance and stupidity and insanity”--Maharaj), one of the earliest ceremonies was the ritual involved tributes to the “god of rain.” That ritual was the basis of one of the earliest religious ceremonies which is described in the ebook, Spiritual Sobriety.

That ceremony born of abjectly stupid beliefs has thrived for over 3000 year, beginning in 1400 B.C. (or earlier) and lasting to this very day in 2024.  Tomorrow will be Sunday, and Sunday is the day that 2.4 billion Christians are reminded of the importance of “the ceremony of Communion” which descended from the “blood and body ceremony honoring the god of rain.

Thirty percent of the population of planet earth worship their God by participating in a ritual which involves drinking the blood of their prophet and eating the body of their prophet in order to please God and get “Benefits” from partaking in that ceremony.  

Here’s the way the origin of the present-day “Communion Service” is described in Spiritual Sobriety:

THE WORLD’S FIRST RELIGIOUS CEREMONY / SERVICE
 

The message from the first Medicine Man-Priest was: “All in the community must meet to learn about god / the gods.” Once gathered, he told them, “There is a god of rain who lives in another world. He told me that I am his chosen representative on earth. He also said he is not allowing it to rain because he is angry.” (Now, what appeases an angry male? Sex.) So the priest continued:

“The rain god wants a sacrifice - a virgin - and he told me that the one who is willing to die for him will be given a reward in his world. As the rain god’s representative on earth, I will have the virgin for him, sacrifice her to him, and then we’ll have an activity that allows us to commune with that god.

“We’ll cut out her beating heart, pass it around, and share in eating the body and blood; that way, we can all commune with god. Then, by sacrificing and communing, we will be blessed and get what we want from god.”

Thus, a self-appointed “Medicine Man” - claiming without challenge that he was hearing voices from another world - was about to pass on a message of hope to a naïve, superstitious, fear-based people who were in dread of starving.

From that single message and that single act of sacrificing a virgin, that “priest” set forth the sixteen basic tenets by which all future religions would operate. (The tenets are discussed in detail in that book but will be listed later.)

The “we-need-rain” discussion should make clear why religions have such a hold over the masses. If one asks, “How can religion have such an appeal with all of the mental suffering and angst it generates?” then they may as well ask . . .

“How can alcohol and / or drugs have such an appeal with all of the mental suffering and angst they generate among addicts?”

or,

“How can gambling have such an appeal with all of the mental suffering and angst it generates among addicts?

or,

“How can eating unhealthy foods have such an appeal with all of the mental suffering and angst they generate among addicts?”

or,

“How can opioids have such an appeal with all of the mental suffering and angst it generates among addicts?”

The answer to the questions about alcohol, gambling, unhealthy eating, and opioids is the same answer as the question about religion. What do all five have in common?

The Addictive Personality Disorder. Whereas fractional percentages of persons have become addicted to different things and persons can be attracted to and dependent upon different things, recall that nearly 100% of all persons on the planet have two addictions in common:

The #2, penultimate addiction that almost all persons have is an addiction to power.

The #1 ultimate addiction that almost all persons have is an addiction to control.

Humankind is addicted to their desire to control, to control other persons; to control the weather; to control who gets well when sick; to control your weaknesses and to stop succumbing to their temptation; to pray for financial rewards; to pray for forgiveness in order to live happily for eternity and avoid punishment for eternity, ad infinitum.

To be able to address their addiction to controlling, they develop an addiction to power (or to “a Power”) in order to be able to control and get everything they want.

Voilà. That should explain why religion has a hold on billions of people. They are selfish and want what they want when they want it and feel entitled to get whatever they want and therefore they wish for the power to get it (or for “a Power” to give it to them).

Trillions have believed in the blood-and-body nonsense as far back as 1400 B.C. Billions nowadays believe in the blood-and-body nonsense as well.

That brings us to the challenge that persons nowadays have when they are made aware of the fact that, in order to realize fully (that is, to fully reject all learned ignorance and all stupid and insane beliefs) they must totally give up all beliefs.

They have spent years or decades or the greatest part of an entire lifetime, expressing their beliefs, fighting over the beliefs, having problems in the workplace over their beliefs, arguing over their beliefs with their children, divorcing over their beliefs, and even killing over their beliefs.

Now, realized non-dual guides come along - including Yeshu’a / “Jesus” - and tells them that “no one shall ever see heaven . . . it’s within” or “heaven and earth shall fade away” or “I come not to bring peace, but to bring a sword” and “I came to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law” (that is, to be rid of all false personal identifications).

After years of being totally dedicated to their beliefs, which are actually not “their beliefs” but are the beliefs of others handed down to them, they are told, to be totally free you must abandon all of your beliefs (that is, all of your “learned ignorance”).

It seems impossible, but - from my own experience - I can assure you that it is not.

Some all but a few will cling to what Maharaj identified as three key symptoms of the Ultimate Sickness (“ignorance and stupidity and insanity); all but a few of billions of Christians will continued to engage in a ceremony which has been handed down from the days of virgin sacrifice;

all but a few will continue their roller-coaster kind of existence as their beliefs are questioned by a few and they rage about such challenges; and all but a few will hold tightly to their dual-mindedness (of which Yeshu’a said, “Dual-minded persons are unstable in all ways”);

and, as a result, chaos shall reign; wars will continue; and people will continue to separate from each “other.” So it is, but so it need not be for the few who are interested in being totally free and willing to run “the mind gauntlet” to attain total freedom.

THE EXPLANATION

If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.

Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of god in the past was of a weak god, an absentee god, A Santa Claus-type god, a mean, punishing, vindictive god, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring god whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to."

The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a god that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").

Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring god,' any supposed god that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'god' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part.

"That is, a non-narcissistic their god / their goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'god' and focus on the 'god as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you." 

Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:

"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"

and 

"Heaven and earth shall fade away."

--Yeshu'a (Jesus)

and 

"Heaven and hell are not geographic places

but are states of mind, nothing more than

concepts dreamed up by men."

--Pope John Paul II 

"There is no hell."

--Pope Francis, the current pope

in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari,

a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record

teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium.

[That said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional courage required to question the very existence of their institution in light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of billions of their members past and present.

And that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will they? Not likely. Why?

Because what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the international crime families which hold sway over the masses as criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major international crime families and which are the most influential and have the largest memberships?

The Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion followers) whose Vatican Bank worked for decades with the Mafia while laundering mob earnings (for a 15% all-profit charge by the Bank); Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers) like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)

With all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business, politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the driving forces at play.

The masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
