NO END "PATHS"? A LIFE-LONG "JOURNEY" WHICH NEVER REACHES THE DESTINATION? A LIFETIME OF TREATMENT WITH NO CURE AT ALL? Sensible and Sane? Or Senseless and Insane? Part II - A REVIEW OF "THE REASONS"

TODAY'S CONSIDERATIONS

These questions have been asked:

A. Why is it that persons (the "non-realized") are willing to enter onto a "path" and then end up staying on it, and willing to begin a "journey" which never reaches the destination but continue on that "journey" anyway, and are willing to accept a treatment plan which offers no cure for what ails them? Additionally, site visitors were invited to look at the reasons behind that behavior and then answer this:

B. Is that sensible and sane, or senseless and insane? Finally, and most relevant is this:

C. What are the simple ways to stop being driven by those often subconscious reasons and to transition beyond a lifetime of seeking and searching and find a way to just be, to just live, and to just relax?

Now, a few days will be spent reviewing the reasons which drive persons to follow unquestioningly and with blind faith whatever "path" they were put on as a child or have found as an adult; to obsess over any given set of teachings (be they thought to be religious, spiritual, philosophical, ideological, whatever); to become a compulsive seeker; and to commit to seeking fanatically for the remainder of one's relative existence.

After that, certain pointers will be offered which include the ways that some have become freed from being driven by those (often subconscious) reasons and have been able to abide thereafter in a Nisargan, natural, no-workaholism, no-fanaticism, no-obsessions, no-compulsions manner for the remainder of the existence, just as every living thing on the planet does except for mind-driven humans.

So why do humans become willing to do what they are told, become willing to follow whatever "path" they are put on as if they are some kind of wind-up toy car; become willing to do what they do in a blind and unquestioning manner, and become willing to do that for as long as they live rather than march to the beat of a different drummer?

They do that . . .

18. because persons are so attached to the content of their minds, and so proud of all of their accumulated knowledge ("learned ignorance," per Maharaj), that they are highly offended to hear it when any of their beliefs are challenged;

19. because a convergence of multiple factors can have a geometric rather than arithmetic effect; 20. because they are still suffering from the presence of some remaining degree of "ignorance";

21. because they are still suffering from the presence of some remaining degree of "stupidity" or foolishness or senselessness;

22. because they are still suffering from the presence of some remaining degree of "insanity";

23. because persons want Power, and they believe that the other-worldly Powers or Power they've hooked up with is not only All-Powerful but is Omnipresent, that is, (a) able to do anything for them and is (b) always present and reliable and willing to do for them, if only they ______. (Fill in the blank with the hundreds and thousands of things that persons have dreamed up and reported that gods or goddesses or The One True God wants in order for them / Him to be pleased and, therefore, willing to grant the wishes being asked for on a daily basis to the tune of billions and billions of requests per hour);

24. because persons believe that there is a god or goddess or God that will give them what they want if they worship that Power and pray to It and have unquestioning faith in It throughout an entire manifestation;

25. because many want to please others in order to get the love now that they did not get as children;

26. because guilt is preferred over the feeling of helplessness: "At least if I am guilty of something, I can repent and thus, have some control."

27. because they believe that if they repent, their deity may feel kindly toward them and will do what they want him / her / them to do, and that takes away their perceived hopelessness and helplessness;

28. because they believe that if they have Someone to pray to, that Someone will part the heavens and enter and change the path of the storm to kill someone other than them;

29. because religion appears to make perfect sense to persons who desperately desire to control their world;

30. because post-programming, post-conditioning, post-domestication, post-acculturation, post-brainwashing, and post-indoctrination, the case among the masses is that, to them, the senseless seems to make "perfect sense" rendering their perceptions and perspectives the 180-degree opposite of reality and truth;

31. because they believe in "the other" (which they are taught from early on to fear and hate);

32. because the masses are capable of believing that they are awake when they are actually totally asleep;

33. because of the refusal to face the facts and admit that all gods and goddesses and "The One True God" were "invented" by humans; and

34. because of the widespread prevalence nowadays of the Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder which has resulted in almost every person on the planet being fanatical and overly-zealous.

To be continued.

Please enter into the silence of contemplation.

Five Free eBooks

Compliments of Andy Gugar, Jr.,
the following eBooks are available without charge for you or for friends:

I.
"GOOD vs. EVIL?" or "IGNORANCE, STUPIDITY, and INSANITY?"

The content of this eBook deals with one of the most common but erroneous beliefs that the non-Realized masses cling to and which they will fight about (and even kill over), namely, that there is a planet-wide duel going on between “the forces of good and evil” in the universe.

Either (1) the ancient view is spot on: that the "ills of the planet" are rooted in evil people, in people not being religious enough or spiritual enough, and are caused solely by bad morality; or, (2) the "ills of the planet" are rooted in ignorance, stupidity and insanity and "being good" or "being moral" does not put an end to ignorance, does not eliminate stupidity, and does not treat insanity in any way.

II.
"THE VISION"

Comments regarding the free eBook entitled “THE VISION”:

“My thanks to you and Andy.” – Andrew “Mac” McMaster

“Thanks so much for the book! And, by the way, it is brilliant and the most effective pointing that you have done. It has served to help clear the remaining blockages.” – Stan Cross

“Greatly appreciate having “THE VISION” added to my Henderson resource library that is situated on the right side of my bed for easy access! Eternally grateful for what was received and what was given.” – Robert Rigby

“‘THE VISION’ is such a well-written, condensed version of the Nisarga Yoga approach to understanding and enjoying Reality that I feel it can serve as a must-read ‘meditation guide’ for all earnest seekers.” – Andy Gugar, Jr.

III.
"Sapolsky, Maharaj, and the Non-Dual Teachings"

Dr. Robert Maurice Sapolsky is an American neuroendocrinologist; a professor of biology, neuroscience, and neurosurgery at Stanford University; a researcher; an author; and a Research Associate at the National Museums of Kenya.

There is much that a non-dualist or Advaitin or Nisargan can relate to by comparing and contrasting what Sapolsky reveals about the way certain troops of baboons live in Africa with the way that humans abide all around the globe.

This 152-page eBook catalogues the common, non-dual message shared by Sapolsky and Maharaj and reveals the ways that Sapolsky’s scientific research supports the non-dual pointers offered by Maharaj.

IV.
Seeking

In “PART ONE” it will be seen that most persons on the planet are not seeking, and most will never seek, but for those who are seeking, most will face several obstacles:

In “PART TWO” of this book, it will be seen why many criticized Maharaj for “changing his message in his later talks.” It will be seen that the changes were not about changing the message per se as much as about changing his methodology as he experimented with one version of the Ultimate Medicine after another in order to try to find an effective means for addressing the Ultimate Sickness.

He tried a religious version of the Medicine, a Spiritual version of the Medicine, and finally settled on a version which addressed to Sickness at its core . . . at the mental and emotional level.

V.
"THE MOST DANGEROUS BELIEF OF ALL"

“Dangerous” is a term that can only apply during the relative existence, but of those who do commit suicide, for example, how many shoot themselves in the foot over and over until they “bleed out”? None. They shoot themselves in the head. Why? In order to try to stop the noise - to try to stop the chatter of a thousand monkeys – to stop the noisy mind which is the area that stores the ideas, notions, concepts, mind-stuff, etc. which drives them into the depths of insanity.

And what are those ideas, notions, concepts, etc. called, collectively? "Their beliefs." The irony? They are not their beliefs at all. They are the beliefs of “others” that were set in place via programming, conditioning, etc. and which persons then think are their own.

And what are those beliefs rooted in, and what reinforces those beliefs and convinces persons that they are sacred and worth fighting over and even sometimes worth dying for? Blind faith.

This 337-page eBook discusses those issues in detail.
