"Nothing about the Absolute should be taken to be 'supreme' in the sense of being the 'greatest,' the 'loftiest,' the 'best,' the 'ultimate,' the 'sovereign,' the 'ruler,' the 'creator' or the 'highest'. If persons believe they are to be all that someday, egotism will quickly convince them that they're all that now."

Q.3: “You still haven’t clarified the movement of consciousness that I asked about.”
F.: “Okay. You agree that conscious-energy can manifest in a plant and then into a food-body, right?"
Q.3: “Right."
F.: “And you agree that when the food-body 'dies,' the consciousness is not destroyed, right?"
Q.2: “It moves into the field.”
F.: “Yes. Moves. It moves to that field…it merges into the Absolute, just as a drop of water merges into the ocean. And ‘absolute’ is defined as…?”
Q.3: “Pure.”
F.: “Yes, among other things. Let me read some definitions of ‘absolute’ that point toward the Absolute for us. [Picks up a notecard. Reads] ‘Complete’ or ‘uncontaminated’ or ‘unconditional.’ [Pause] Could we say ‘unconditioned?’ [Nods of agreement come from the group]. Also, ‘not relative,’ ‘unqualified,’ ‘unlimited,’ ‘supreme,’ ‘certain,’ ‘sure,’ ‘entire,’ ‘whole,’ ‘unadulterated,’ or ‘unambiguous.’ And know that ‘supreme’ is just one of ten or more words used to define 'absolute' and should not be taken to have more significance than any of the other words on the list. Nothing about the Absolute should taken to be ‘supreme’ in the sense of being the 'greatest,' the 'loftiest,' the 'best,' the 'ultimate,' the 'sovereign,' the 'ruler,' the 'creator,' or the 'highest.' If persons believe they are to be all that someday, egotism will quickly convince them that they're all that now. Nothing about the Absolute should be taken to be a 'reward' or 'prize' or 'payoff.' Who would be in that field of consciousness to receive such? The food-body won't be available. The fictitious 'mind' won't be available; oxygen won't be available. Remember, the food-body is a combination of elements, circulating the breath if consciousness is manifested. At the point called the 'death' of the food-body, its elements shall move and merge with the larger pool of elements. The breath shall move and merge with the larger pool of air. And the conscious-energy shall move and merge with the larger pool of consciousness. When I realized the truth of that, an indescribable sense of freedom and calm happened. No eternal body to be concerned with, no eternal mind, no everlasting breath, no eternally manifested consciousness. Freedom from all. Nothing more to work for, to dread, to seek...nothing to be occupied or preoccupied with. A blissful relative existence has followed. To realize is to understand the minimal, the tiniest, the most basic ‘building block’ that is and which is the commonality of all. It is to realize I Am That which is the least, not the most. No 'different from' exists. No duality exists. Where is the room for separation and division and arrogance—for concepts such as 'better than'—when that truth is known? Persons seek to accumulate more...more roles, more stuff. Persons desire to be more, to be greater, to have more power, to earn great rewards now, and to earn some 'Ultimate Reward' later. The Realized desire no more, accumulate no more, and know the 'less-ness' that is Real. Nothing is smaller than That Which I Am, yet nothing is as limitless. While manifested into this “Amness,” pure consciousness knows itself to be That Which It Is; thus, all other identities dissolve. In knowing I Am the tiniest, the least, the most basic, I know the freedom of eternal limitlessness. I also know the freedom of de-accumulation in the relative.”
Q. 3: “The movement, please!” [Laughter]
F.: “Who is seemingly wanting something so impatiently? Ha. [Laughter] The stage is not quite set to understand the totality of the movement. Let me offer another analogy. As with archetypes—images that can move about via particles—energy-consciousness also moves about in wave-particle form. Pure consciousness might manifest, but it doesn't remain in that condition for long among persons. All humans could just be were it not for the corrupting of pure consciousness. The consciousness can perceive itself, but programming convinces the corrupted consciousness that it is not consciousness at all but is ‘a boy’ or ‘a girl’ or ‘a wife’ or ‘a husband,’ or ‘a good person’ or ‘a bad person,’ on and on and on. And all of those have agendas, defined and taught by cultures, and the goals of the taught agendas demand constant effort. Religions and spiritual movements and other philosophies intend to make you a ‘better’ person or even a ‘noble' person. Consider the actual aim of that: to make a better persona? You may as well join me on my next trip to the deserts of the Southwest region and try to work with the mirages that you think you see there and convert them into ‘better mirages.’ [Laughter] You laugh. A few months ago, that was your life's ambition! Ha. [More laughs] You might as well try to ‘save’ mirages. You may as well try to ‘ennoble’ mirages. What arrogance. What delusion. [Pause] Persons take abstractions to be the real. Since we know that light/energy has a particle form, consider the real—the consciousness—to be concrete."

Q.3: "I can't."
F.: "Ha. Maybe you can. Let's try now to understand the movement to manifestation: if energy/light strikes something with an existing nervous system, the light ‘solidifies’ and what some thought to be an 'abstraction' is actually ‘matter-form-energy-consciousness.’ If the energy/light strikes something without a nervous system, it's reflected; so either consciousness solidifies or reflects, manifests or doesn’t, depending on whether or not it strikes something with a nervous system that can interact with the energy in the form in which it arrives. On this planet, the item that it strikes that has a nervous system that allows for manifestation just happens to be a plant. The energy does not arrive on earth in a fashion that is usable to humans with nervous systems because the human nervous system cannot process the conscious-energy in the form in which it arrives. Only after the energy changes form, via the process in plants, is it usable by humans. No plants? No manifested consciousness. No manifested consciousness? No humans or animals. An example of reflecting is found in what's called 'moonlight.' Moonlight is merely the light of the sun or nuclear furnace reflected off the surface of an object that has no nervous system. That which appears to be an emptiness of blackness and void around the moon is not that at all—the waves and particles of light are the fullness…they surround the moon and fill the entire space, but the eye does not see the non-reflected light since it’s neither reflected from the surface of the moon nor manifested in a nervous-system-possessing-form.” [NOTE: for further explanation, you may visit http://www.floydhenderson.com/article2.htm] Please enter the silence of contemplation.
