F.: [Continued from yesterday] In the prior posting, one pointer noted: “The hindrances to peace include a bastardized food supply that creates imbalances in the food body, the bastardized consciousness, and the self-ish motives that come from the multiplicity of ego-states that drive individuals and societies; that is, the problems of humankind are always rooted in the triad of the body, the “mind,” and the personality/personalities….”
THE HINDRANCE TO PEACE: A BASTARDIZED FOOD SUPPLY
[You may refer to the information in the 5 May 2006 posting for information on why the three body types require different food plans for optimal functioning of the organs that affect mental and emotional aspects of persons as well as the behavior of persons.]
THE HINDRANCE TO PEACE: THE BASTARDIZED CONSCIOUSNESS
Desires and wants and fears and imagined needs are generated by illusory ego-states. Who could be satisfied if constantly experiencing the sensations of desire, want, fear or need? It is impossible. And what bastardizes the consciousness and produces desires, wants, fears and imagined needs? Concepts. Duality. The earliest concepts introduced to persons are the ideas of “good” and “evil.” They are useless, but persons become caught in them the way mastodons of old were caught in tar pits.
Maharaj said of that dualistic pair of good and bad:
"Only at word level does one think something good or bad will happen; when one identifies with the space, it is the end of good and bad. First of all you identify something as being good or bad for yourself. Then, in an effort to acquire good or to get rid of bad, you have invented a god. Then, you worship such a god and do bhajan (the emotional singing of worshipful songs) and you pray to that god for something good to happen to you."
And via the invention of that fictional god came men who used that tool (a) for manipulating entire populations of persons who are programmed to desire rewards and to want to avoid punishment, (b) for controlling people, (c) for accumulating power and influence, (d) for generating a false sense of separation, (e) for generating an endless list of more dualistic concepts such as “right-wrong,” “moral-immoral,” “better than-worse than,” and “acceptable-unacceptable,” and (f) for inspiring more wars and killings than any other single factor in the history of humans.
As parents rewarded you when you were “good” and punished you when you were “bad,” their relative values were programmed into you. And what was considered “bad” to them was usually nothing more than a child being a child and behaving as a child. The more relative nonsense that they programmed into you, the farther removed you became from (1) behaving naturally and (2) sensing the Absolute. Eventually, you identified with the relative and lost all remembrance of the Absolute, and the more of the truth of the Absolute that you forgot, the more you identified with the lies of the relative. Those concepts are now the tar pit in which you are trapped, for that accumulation of concepts formed into an aggregate mess of tar-like blackness called “your mind.” That blackness blocks the seeing of The Light. The “mind” is a useless gathering of non-truths and knowledge (A.K.A., "learned ignorance") that ironically becomes so valued by persons that many are willing to die for their belief in those lies. Once trapped in the tar pit of the “mind,” one of two things can happen:
(A) either persons become trapped in the egotism that accompanies the ego-states that they have assumed as identities and never have a clue that they have missed the “path” completely, or
(B) they realize that their thinking is flawed and is inspiring destructive behavior and they begin a hopeless quest for what some spiritualists call “peace of mind.” There is no such thing. The “mind” is the source of all lack of peace and must disappear if peace is to happen. You must be out of your mind to know Your TRUE SELF and for peace to happen.

If persons in the second instance happen to reach the third of the seven levels to Realization and then fixate in a religious or spritual role, then they will arrogantly want to extend to the entire globe the peace that they think they have found. Yet religious and spiritual concepts are just more "mind-clutter" that must be rejected in order to move farther along the "path" to Full Realization.
Through no fault of anyone who has been programmed, the originally-pure consciousness has been warped, distorted, and bastardized. The purification process requires the elimination of the “mind,” the dis-appearance of all appearances that are taken to be real but are illusions, and the rejection of all concepts and all dualities. Please enter the silence of contemplation. [To be continued]
